Putt-putt golf and go-karts would be fun for saturday night... some guys aren't 21 so we won't be going to any bars/clubs... thats not really my thing anyways, unless they've got kareoke. The whole weekend shouldn't cost more than $50 plus gas, which shouldn't be too bad if we carpool and divide it up.

Gym - The Body Shop is $5 for a guest pass and the YMCA is $6 for a guest pass... so maybe $10-12 there for both days, unless we lift at my parents house on sunday. There is plenty of equipment for us to use to get a good arm workout in.

Extras - Putt-putt golf is like $5... go-karts are $5... the lake/pool wouldn't cost us anything. Figure $20 just to be safe.

My next game is Quake Wars. But the game that consumed more hours of my life then any other? Diablo 2. That game was the near downfall of me and my dad. We were building our house at the time, and my dad was working on the house while i was at school. I got in troullbe because i got him addicted, and he lost a couple of days of working on the house to that damn game.

Its a decent gym... DB's up to 100's, power rack, smith machine, and assorted bodypart machines, but no leg press and there would be too many of us to rotate through the power rack.

We'll lift at The Body Shop on saturday for sure... they only have one power rack, but there's two leg press/hack squat combo thingys as well as a sweet Power-tec squat machine. Other than that its got the usual leg ext/curls, but no vagina machines. Sorry guys. Also, I went to high school with the owner, so I don't think he'd mind if we took some weight outside and did lunges in the parking lot.

A few weeks ago he was going down a hill in his wheelchair and wrecked, breaking his leg again and bending both of the metal plates that were holding it together. Last week he was at campfire with some friends and fell asleep with his foot propped up next to the firepit. He doesn't have any feeling in that leg, so when he wakes up a few hours later his foot is melted. Literally. The doctors in the burn unit in Springfield said it was the worst 3rd degree burn they'd ever seen. Since he's going to have it amputated in a few months and he doesn't have any feeling in it, they didn't do much. If it had been anyone else they said it would've required extensive skin grafts and the pain would've been excruciating. He just laughed it off.

He made a bomb and it blew up when he was standing next to it... disintegrated 4 inches of bone in his left shin and completely severed his calf muscle... a shred of skin was the only thing keeping it attached. They put 14 pints of fluid into him before he was stabilized... the average human body contains less than 10 pints of blood. He's lucky he didn't bleed to death. I've got some pretty gruesome pics of it... I'll show them to you if you make it to the ABC.

Here's kinda what I figured up...

Food - everyone pitch in $10 or so to get some BBQ supplies for saturday + a couple gallons of milk, eggs, etc. so we have plenty of food. We'll probably grab some fast food on the way down there, while we're there, and on the way back home (~$15).

Gym - The Body Shop is $5 for a guest pass and the YMCA is $6 for a guest pass... so maybe $10-12 there for both days, unless we lift at my parents house on sunday. There is plenty of equipment for us to use there to get a good arm workout in.

Extras - Putt-putt golf is like $5... go-karts are $5... the lake/pool wouldn't cost us anything. Figure $20 just to be safe.

Total - $25 for food + $5-10 for gym + $20 extras = $50-55 plus gas

Good. Gonna go to see The Hulk tomorrow, then hang out a bit saturday, then he leaves for a week to go to pittsburg for some big work training thing. So for a week i will either be at work myself, which means i wont get to see my mom much, or have the day off and maybe head up to springfield and lay some iron down with Excessive Endorphins. Or just trash myself with one of the homebase gyms for a couple hours.

Hey everyone my name is mike (Striated_Tri) I live in sedalia. I'll be going down to the lake with you guys next weekend. I'm 28 yrs old. married for one year to my now pregnant wife jaime. I've been lifiting now for 5 years. Started out @ 130lbs. @ my biggest was 218lbs. I competed for the first time in 2007 @ the Muscle Mayhem Classic in KCMO, @ 176lbs. and 5% body fat. I qualified for Junior nationals for two years. My old work out partner Robert Wichman, from Extreme Fitness won the show and with Don Longs help in doing Juniors in a week. I've also been Personal training for 4 years. With certificiates from NESTA, and AFPA. I know Blake from Lee's Summit my wife and i lived there for a year, and I signed Blake and Monica up @ Xtreeme Fitness. I thought him everything i know. LOL. Look forward to meeting you guys.

Updated... I guess we'll put 5 in Seth's van and 4 with J. I've tried to call Evan a few times over the past couple days and his phone has been off... idk whats going on with him, but I doubt he will be able to make it.

As far as sleeping arrangements, there's an extra bedroom, plus 3 couches, a lay-z-boy, and 4 cots. That should be enough to cover everyone so nobody has to sleep on the floor. You can bring a sleeping bag if you want but there should be plenty of pillows/blankets.

Lets go ahead and plan for a 1pm workout on Friday at Gold's (Xtreme) in Lee's Summit... then we'll meet up at my house at 5pm to head out of town. Any questions?

Idk about Ezekiel... I usually buy OROWHEAT (www.orowheat.com) bread... there are a ton of good ones to choose from... whole wheat, oatnut, 7 grain, 12 grain, whole grain & flax, whole grain & oat, double fiber, and honey fiber whole grain... they all taste good too.
