Its a warehouse space being turned into a gym with PL/SM equipment, so BBers, PLers and SMs of all walks of life will fit in. They are re pouring the concrete floor and the home gym I train at will be moving tons of our stuff there in addition to whatever the owners bought elsewhere or already had.

My mother is in recovery and is doing good! She was supposed to have a Quadruple Bypass, bu they couldn't get two donor veins to replace two of her smaller heart veins, so it ended up being a double bypass... What that means is she HAS to change her diet/lifestyle or she'll have a heart attack and possibly die, because she has NO backup veins left to pump blood.

Anyways, thank you for all your prayers. My family and I appreciate all of them!

I'm about to head back to KC to get back to work. In 3 weeks I'll be going home (chanute) to takeover caregiver duty for my brothers and dad, as she's going to need help just doing everyday things

I want to publicly congratulate my friend Chris aka DepX for reppin the Animals at the show! He took home 1st in Novice short, 1st Overall AND 1st in Mr. Kansas! Not a bad first show...someone tell this boy to go to the natty show in in St. Louis in 3 weeks.

Yesterdays ABC event went really well... Sly06 made the trip up from OK... only a 4 hr drive, no biggie right? Myself, Themostocles (Seth), striated_tri (Mike), and Carl got in a great chest/shoulder workout. Afterwards we hit up Chipotle for some tasty burritos.

We had a couple new faces, but the timing wasn't the best for alot of guys so there wasn't as big of a turnout as I'd hoped. I'll put more planning into next months ABC and make sure everyone gets plenty of advance notice.

Noon would make it possible for me to get there. I have a merit test for a promotion at work at 8 a.m that morning and they schedule at least 3 hours for it.... Worse case scenario is that I make it to Golds a little after 12.... But it's what works best for the whole group.

I was on my way today, but K-DOT has its head up its ass to close 2 damn lanes of eastbound I-435 at 69 Highway... traffic was backed up to I-35. I was stuck in this damn mess for almost an hour. Whose fucking idea at K-DOT was it to close those two lanes when nothing is being done to 435 itself?!

I left at 11:30 (it's usually a half hour's drive to Lee's Summit). I am very irate right now. I went back home after finally getting off at Metcalf Avenue to pick up lunch. I'm still going to hit the gym later today at the Gold's gym in Merriam...

Yeah, SAME exact problem!!! What normally takes 15-20 minutes (speed limit~ahem~) from my fiance's house to Metcalf took an hour and a half.... It was that type of day all day yesterday....
