Alright fellas, past two years i have been in the body building life style. My only problem is, my muscle is extremely soft all over especially my chest.
Does anyone have any advice as to how to maybe tighten up or harden my look. Thanks fellas

This might better be posted in the training threads, but I suppose since you're here... To develop hardness, I found that pyramids work nice. You know, set of 15 light, 10 moderate, 8 heavy, 6 bone crushing. That, and multijoint power movements like squats, deads, benches, and cleans. Full body type movements that give you that "farmboy" strength. Give it a shot. Don't forget to eat, either.

try reducing sodium intake, and clean up your diet as well, mainly BF% and high water retention will cause this due to an extreme amount of sodium in your system. I know when i eat Mexican food, ill easily gain 6-8 pounds of weight over night just because the meat is so heavily salted, as well as full of cheese, which will subside of one day of low sodium dieting.

Ya sodium will bloat you and cause you to be softer. If its not too much salt try lifting heavier.

My guess is what's soft is not muscle but extra baggage. Training chest will hit the pecs, but what you need to focus on is probably a solid, clean diet to help shed excess fat and/or subcutaneous water. Focus on the diet. Stay consistent with the training.
