Has anyone had any problems recently with fraudulent charges to there checking accounts? The last time i used my card was to order some supps online. The site i ordered from was a very respectable site which many of people on here use. Its been about 2 months since i ordered off this site. So then i check my account a few days ago and i see charges for stuff i didnt make. Im not trying to point the finger at any website by any means, i just want to know if anyone else has had this happen to them within the last month or so.

i've been using bodybuilding.com for about 2 1/2 years and have never had any credit card problems

Dude, what was the site?, i know were not sposed to bash the sites/companies, but thats valuable info....also, check ur PC for spyware/adware, u can download a antispyware program at download.com

Most of these sites have too much to lose to screw up customers.. Maybe it's a spyware jus like violator said.. or somebody stole your password on that site.

More importantly did you pin it down to THAT particular site. Meaning, was it their fault, their lack of security, maybe a breach at the service level, i.e. bad egg that works there??? Do you make other online purchases for anything? What were the fraudulent charges? Where were they from, city, state?
Not that I expect you to answer all of those here, it's all moot now that you've cancelled you card maybe. But these are things to think about so it doesn't happen again. Also think about non-online charges. It's more common in big cities, but for instance a shady waiter may take your card swipe your charge then pass it through a card reader to get the info.

Ordered from BB.COM this morning. Large order ($370), thought all was swell, then a few hours later get an email from them telling me the orders on hold and that they require me to email/fax them a photcopy of the front and back of my bank card and driving licence. Im pretty sure this is the norm, just wanna make sure before i send them to them. Anyone else had to do this?
Also if this is normal, can i send a photocopy of my passport as i have no driving licence?

I've never had to send a copy of my license... could it be that you're in England? Or is your name different than the name on the credit card you're using or something?
From time to time I get an email from them like you did after placing an order asking for my CV2 number (the number on the back of the card). Its just a verification process...
I don't know why they need your license though. Maybe give them a call?

lol it seems legit to me... the extra hassle really sucks though. Make sure you tell them in the email that you don't wanna be doing this every single time you order.
Dude, ABSOLUTELY 100% call them to verify before you do this...no matter what anyone here says. Do not call that number, call the 800 number or an international number from the site. Run it by them and get a POC.
Trust me, gotta verify this.

If I had to guess I would think that such a large order requires some additional ID...I would trust anything fromm bb.com

Yeah man, i had to verify my order with them aswell, i live in south africa & bought $260 worth the other month, had to verify it, but not by faxing anything, just sent them another email wit my details, no dodgy charges yet, the mail was sent by the same dude, so i think its kosher....

Ok, tried calling the official international number from the site, couldnt get through. So i used the live chat on the site to speak to their customer service dept.
Spoke to an agent by the name of 'Pumped Up Paula' (wtf?) and she said the email was legit, and i can send pics of my bank card with the last 4 digits blanked out if i want. Also passport pic is fine too. Ok, just gotta find a fax machine now as mines broke...

Either PUMP washed down with EAA STACK or S.T with NITRO 30mins pre w/o (will alternate between the two)

WHEY 45-1hr after TORRENT
EAA STACK also between breakfast and lunch. WHEY throughout the day.

They screwed me over the only two times I ordered from them, and I'll never go through them again.

Used the card online 3x in the past 2 months, 2x to buy supps online, and 1x to buy stuff from THE SHOP here at animalpak.com
A week after I ordered all that, someone steals the CC# and buys $350 in stuff:
1) Vonage phone
2) Coffee and a coffeemaker
3) Real-Estate making money program
4) various other little trinkets
The kicker? WHoever did it had the stuff they bought send to my house for a few of the items. And they even took a local phone # from a business uptown and put their # on one of the orders they shipped.
It was weird, but we called the bank, canceled the card, and they are in the process of putting the $ back to us and finding out WHO made the fraud charges. They said it should take about 7 days.

man, thats some messed up stuff. Some low life made $800 of charges on my card, but he only got away with about $270 worth. The sad thing about it is we did nothing to earn it, it was just random.
I'm glad we have a junk credit card that we can cancel if that happens. I will never buy from BB.com again...that is just too much

i love this site and all, but the same thing just happened to me. I placed an order at the shop, the next few days, i had around 15 charges on my card that i didnt do. The last time i used my card before the shop order was about 3 weeks.
