So i have to turn in my topic for my term paper on friday and dont really have a great idea on what to do it in..It needs to be 10 pages so i really need some ideas that have alot of info on them...Any topic ides would be a great help..thanks...
Shit man I thought the paper was due friday and you needed a topic at first haha......
there's a bunch of paths you could take
-maybe something about the marketing in fitness? that's a HUGE topic to cover
-something about the differences between a diet to maximize athletic performance vs. diet for overall health
-not to start a topic about it here, but AAS or any other kind, a lot to talk about
-supps
I'll post more if I think of em

This is the FORVM... Got a question about BB'ing then shoot, but we're not here to help you with your term paper.
*edit* We'll help you.. but you gotta do the legwork. Come up with a topic and ask questions. We're not here to do this shit for you.
Peace
Nah Nick...I just need to have a topic ready..And for anyone who doesnt wanna help, simply dont say anything...
Nick covered a lot lol but i dunno if you could get into things like designing sports equipment like running shoes, basketball shoes or hockey skates, etc. Lotta research being done there.
I really like that one along with the supps and diet ones nick said... i am deff gonna see if i can do the designing one?
If things where only that easy...
public misconceptions of the bodybuilding lifestyle, supplementation, diet, training etc...
is this a research paper that is going to require a thesis statement?

metabolism....TOOOONS of info....not just basic metabolism but in detail with your PC system and glycolytic system kori cycle etc..
I agree with surfaced. metabolism with exercising, would be a huge essay to write about. Nick had some good ideas as well. Theres a lot to work with.
How much protein does a bodybuilder reallly need? besides that this is really something you should do for yourself.

I disagree with this bro. I'm not trying to start anything, but aren't we supposed to be here for each other? We're just doing some help for him to start his creative mind. It's not doing the paper for him anymore than if I told you about a weightlifting exercise. You wouldn't get anything by being told about it, but by doing it.
Not trying to start an argument at all. Just throwing out my two cents.
Exercise Science, eh? So you're studying to be a PT? How about exercise leading to the deterioration of joint health... such as knees in running or bodybuilding. I'd find that interesting personally.

Thanks Tron..I appreciate it... That also sound like a good one...Gotta figure it soon tho...Due in like 45 minutes lol...
We've did a lot of stuff in my courses like water vs. gatorade (Sport Drinks Versus Water, which has the upper hand and when), we went out and did testing for a specific idea like max bench/squat/... when you only do the one specific exericse versus a whole routine. I did one called :sleepless america and wrote about average hourly sleeping habits between states and countires, how it can affect you with too little/too much sleep. More psychologically i did one on the Psychological Effects of Sport Injuries

You know I was actually thinking of making a post like this for my senior exit project haha. But I got to thinking, and I thought it might be interesting to see how different types of muscle fibers are stimulated by different types of exercise. Just an idea.
