I recently had surgery to repair a broken bone. I was wondering if anyone knew of any foods that might make it heal faster. I'm willing to try anything so long as its within reason.

The only logical thing I can think of would be to eat more dairy to get more calcium.

Other than that I'd just ask your doctor.

I'm going with them on this one. You need more dairy. Though I do suggest fat free cottage cheese. It has allot of protein as well so it will allow those muscles to grow as your bone(s) heal.

When I broke my clavicle, my doctor recommended a gram of quality protein per pound of bodyweight (sounds familiar, huh?). He also recommended calcium.

Take your pak, throw in a calcium tablet, get plenty of rest, and eat healthy. Also, try to limit the caffeine to little as possible. Other than that, theres not much else to do except letting your body do the work. Big thing is stay very healthy and get lots of rest.
