Every week or two my boss chooses to buy lunch for our department, they normally pick places that are complete garbage to eat at. Since they buy the lunch and we end up meeting together while having lunch, I don't get the chance to fix food before hand, so I'm going with the theory of it's better to eat something than nothing. Today I'm eating a chicken cheese steak, and I tried to clean it up as much as possible, not that there is really a way to clean up such a meal. Does anyone have any advice/suggestions on what to do? I'm clean bulking right now, so I will try to make the chicken cheese steak fit my macros today.. but in the future this could be come a problem.

my advice either cook like chx breast and rice before hand and tupperware them in, can eat cold or just a min in the microwave, either that or just pick the most balanced choice, high protein, moderate carbs. If its once a week for lunch it wont have too much effect esp if your bulking

I intern at a doctor's office, and they do the same thing; I just say that I can't eat that kind of food and they don't seem to mind.
Don't go.
If you have to, eat, and supplement with a shake along with whatever you eat. I know you said you're "clean bulking", but bulking nevertheless....eat up bro!

When we have meetings that involve a paid lunch I bring my own lunch still. The boss doesn't mind...in fact he is actually glad I bring my own food...just think of the money he is saving by not ordering something for me.
