although it might sound stupid, headaches are not a normal thing, as long as you drink enough water and get plenty of sleep... you got those covered? if so, maybe you should ask a doc

I agree with simpleguy, I need a lot of water (sometimes up to 8L a day) to stay well hydrated. Dehydration is a great way to get headaches.

I personally start to get a headache if I miss my morning cup of coffee. But yeah thats not "lots of caffeine."

If I got a headache and nothing will make it go away, I'll just take an advil. Don't rely too much on it. If you keep getting headaches you need to see a doctor.

Have you recently stopped taking/drinking caffiene? Caffiene withdrawl gives me wicked bad headaches.

To get rid of mine I usually drink a diet soda and take a nap, and laying down and covering my eyes with a warm blanket does help as well, like noted above.

I found that my headaches were blood sugar related. After the "sugar crash" I always got a wicked headache. When I cleaned up the diet and got rid of simple sugars and quickly digesting carbohydrates, I never got a headache again. Sounds strange, but shit, that's my story, and I'm stickin' to it...

What about postworkout?

What about postworkout?

It doesn't bother me postworkout, because my sugar never has the chance to get low. I hit it with Waxy Maize immediately post, but then I'm having another shake 15 minutes later, and a meal another 15-30 min later, and so on...so I do still use quickly digesting carbs but in combination with slower carbs or more meals that don't give me the "sugar crash".

My chiropractor fixed mine... Sometimes it has something to do with tight muscles pulling on vertibrae in the spine(in my case my shoulders pullin on my neck) and it would create a lot of discomfort and put a lot of pressure on the blood vessels going to my brain. With adjustments every couple weeks and some stretching I haven't had any headaches since I first started getting adjusted. If you do get a chiropractor just make sure it's somebody that friends or family would recommend. Also, the more professional they are about the way they inform you of what they do etc etc the better. There's some pretty useless chiropractors out there who came outta med school with C-'s

Many different causes for them, but what I normally try to do is take a nap if I have the opportunity. It's a good way to get rid of them.

If you dont sit straight up the tension from your back and shoulders go directly to your head, this can cause very rough headaches, make sure you sit straight

there is such a thing as over hydrating. I used to drink too much water and one day i had a major headache which lead to my brain swelling and i went def and blind temporarily on my left side. So don't drink too much water

I haven't run into this yet, as I train so often I just sweat it out.
