What's something you guys on a cut eat for a late night dinner when a low-carb shake won't cut it?

I'm grilling chicken breasts right now, and guys, that's about the best I can do, haha.

Even on a cut?

I've always avoided peanut butter like the plague when dieting down.

Why?
when im cutting natty pb is great-i add some to my shakes to slow the digestion of the protein
and i love the good fats in it.

on a cut before bed i love some egg whites w/ natty pb
or a nice chicken breast w/ some veggies and nuts

Even natty PB takes away my cuts.

Amd I usually never eat after 7:30, so I just chug water to knock out my hunger.

I never eat right before bed on a cut either, it sticks to me in all the wrong places. I use the water and 3 - 4 grams of L-Tyrosine to keep my metabolism going while I sleep.

I actually like the taste of cottage cheese so I would just eat that... filling too.

If you enjoy eggs, go for some of those.

Good call on the eggs.

I didn't even think of chugging a carton of egg whites.

eggs and some lean meat..cant go wrong there.

I have also done the natty pb thing before bed cause the fats fill you up for longer...plus, they are mono-unsaturated fats. Polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats are the two un-saturated fats. They're found mainly in fish, nuts, seeds and oils from plants. Some examples of foods that contain these fats include salmon, trout, herring, avocados, olives and our delicious natty peanut butter.

Always look for a brand of pb that contains peanuts and nothing else - or, at the very worst, small quantities of added salt.

steak and/or whole eggs before bed does a body good.

if you need or have a reason to eat before bed.

You should have at least some slow digesting protein before you hit the hay. It keeps you in the anabolic zone longer. This way you get to keep more metabolically active tissue.

usually either chicken/turkey breast or tuna, with some veggies... sometimes I also opt for some eggs, mostly whites

when u sleep for say 6-8 hours, thats a long time w/out eating any protein and aminos for your muscles.
by having a slow digesting protein source before bed youll have a good chance of keeping your muscles fueled all night with a steady supply of aminos flowing through your body

Keep this thread on topic fellas.

I was always a fan of tuna mixed with mustard, whey with PB, and chicken and egg white omelettes.

Usually I'm having a steak, or I might go with some almonds with water...I always have my gallon jug next to me.
