animal arms definately, i heard everyone talking about this dvd so i ordered it online and waited a few weeks for it to show up. i was expecting another training dvd that went for 3 hours but to my surprise it was over within 45 minutes and not a word was said. in that shorttime i realized what animal was all about. its not about telling people how hardcore you are even if there is a camera in front of you. its about getting the job done, and getting it done properly.

im positive animal back will be no different...

great promo u rep.

Just got done praising the Animal DVD's, now i must say that i am way more excited about wings and wheels to come out than i am about the others. My first DVD experience was when i won a free copy of Arms in a tin of Pump, how sweet is that. But since i must choose it is chest. The bench, third in the line of heaviest weight to move, but the # one exercise in many lifters eyes. Its what most gauge their performance on. To see him bench that bar as it starts to bend away from the middle thats animal. To see someone kick those DB's up and over their shoulders to get that incline bench going, mid blowing. Everytime time i watch the animal DVD's i want to watch it all over again, but most of all it makes me want to hit up the gym even more!

Arms is my favorite DVD so far. I was very impressed and modivated by the amount of weight that was being thrown around. It made put down the 30 lb dumbells and really step it up! Since I now model my arm routine around that DVD, I have to plan the days that I shave cuz it ain't happening that day.......

Best DVD so far is without a doubt Animal Chest. I have never seen anyone push so much weight on the incline bench. Sent chills down my spine. Cant wait to see the others.

Animal Chest by far. The intensity exhibited and the weight lifted were incredible. The no-frills gym and black and white production, though found in all the DVD's, add much to the overall atmosphere.

I have not seen any of the animal DVDs yet, but the reason i want to see them is because im sure i will learn some new ways to train by watching them. Plus it will get me siked before i go to the gym. I mean who doesnt want to a man move large amounts of weight effortlessly?

I have consistantly gone back to the arms DVD. I Love the way I can barely lift them by the time I'm done. Driving home from the gym is always an adventure with jello arms. My back routine is not the greatest and I know could use some betters moves. Hook me up!!!

Unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to see any of the Animal Training dvd's, but that doesnt mean I don't want to. I'm a big fan of training dvd's for a few reasons. First off, I love to see the intensity at which top athletes, such as Wrath, train. It inspires me to want to push myself even harder when I get to the gym. Secondly, I watch closely as they perfrom each rep, taking note on form, set and rep ratios, ect. Third, it helps me come up with new ideas for workouts. All in all I'm able to better my knowledge of weight lifting, better my form and technique for greater gains and increase my desire to want to become better at what I do. A free copy would be awesome, and the start to an Animal dvd library I would love to have.

I have the other 3, they're all good. But I like animal chest. It shows how precise to be with the movements and to properly hammer the chest.

How can you pick just one, they are all my favorite. What gets to me about all of them is the fact that it is just Wrath and the weight. It is brutal and basic, primeval in a way. No talk, no filler, no bullshit. Just a man doing his job, building his body the old fashioned way with hard work and drive and determination. If you watch any of them and don't come away fired up, well you are probably dead.

i haven't seen any of the animal dvds yet...but i'd love to check one out. One time I saw this guy deadlift 315 over 20 times until he reached failure and then immediately he picked up another bar racked with 225 and cranked out a few more. This guy was me...and I saw it in the mirror. And I've got a drive and desire inside that makes me want to work hard and make gains every time I lift. I call it the animal. We all have it inside...some people unleash it and some people waste it. Don't waste it.

I've seen all the DVDs. My fave is the Chest DVD cuz Chest and Back are my weaker bodyparts. I used the routine used in the Chest DVD and saw some good gains. Not to mention I developed a liking for incline benchpress.
The Back DVD would be great to help me develop a wide and thick back.

Favorite DVD is the Animal Chest.

Wrath is moving some SERIOUS weight, and the posing at the end where his chest is pumped and shredded is crazy. Very inspirational.

I watch it almost every chest day while I am getting dressed and getting my bag packed. My lifting partner has actually drove ten minutes away from the gym to check out the video, then we drive in together.

Wrath is a monster... I would love to get a copy of the Animal Back disc.

My only question is... when is the Animal Wheels DVD coming out?

Cris

'Sup guys!!

I've been a costumer from Animal line since 1998, when I started hit the gym...I'm now 28 years old and taking very serious my "journey"...it's not easy, but I love it (love the "pump", love the live, love the iron...love to be the "big fella").

Money is always tight (I live in Brazil, and any supplement cost twice or more if compare to USA ...so I get the basics - chicken, meat, eggs, yam, etc...and when I can, I get some Animal Pack and Nitro (really like the Animal Nitro!).

The DVDs are hard to get around here....I just watched some parts at "you tube.com" (Wrath is one of a kind!)...If I could get one, it would be cool...but..what the helll...Animalpak.com is a great source of information and inspiration...so...I can live without it!!

See yah!

I have not seen any of the three videos but I have been planning on purchasing them. The Marines care about 3 parts of your phyiscal fitness: 20 pullups, 100 crunches, and a sub 27 minute 3 mile run. the crunches are a given. You can easily do them the way we have to sit. The run time is all heart. If you ain't puking when you finish a run, then you weren't going hard enough. Pullups are just straight muscle power. The pullups have always been my bread-n-butter. I've never, up into recently had a set of "wings" they are barely there, but there nonetheless. IMO nothing defines pure raw power like a gigantic slab of latissimus dorsi. the one infamous back i think of is Franco columbu. His back just looked like someone took a cow, butterflied it, and stuck it on Franco's back. All of the greats have the distinctive wings protruding superhumanly from their sides. I WANT THAT! I think my back routine has become stale as of late...so I believe this will be the motivation and direction I need to get in gear.

Although arms and chest are real good, I gotta say delts is my favorite. It packs the most punch. Starts off with some running, rocky style all over town with a dope song playing. Running up stairs, all over the place. Right there you threw in ANIMAL cardio. This is the first DVD where we get to see some intensity techniques. In arms and chest, all he does is straight sets. In delts, you get to see some dropsets going on.

In addition, he hammers his traps. then throws in abs and calves. So basically, you get animal cardio, delts, traps, abs, and calves all rolled into one kickass video. Not to mention his use of PUMP pre-workout, and a nice solid tupperware meal at the end. Primo. So if you look at the total:
running
smith presses
side laterals
upright rows
pec dec rear delt
cable side lateral
barbell shrug
dumbell shrug
hanging leg raise
rope crunch
machine calf raise

it is by far the most excersise dense of them all, totalling 11 including the run. Arms is only 8, chest is 5. In my opinion, the most bang for the buck.

I am a proponent of Animal products for the last year, I use them, live them, love them. They bring my training to new levels, and give me the drive and tools to crush weight. I have never seen an animal dvd, but I look through the Manual before I work out, or check the website and it's simply inspiring and adrenaline inducing.

My blood gets hot, and I get that feeling in my chest, I start thinking, I gotta work out, I gotta lift, punish the weight. Nothing thrills me more than crushing a personal record, or kicking up the barbell for bench, watching the bar bend during squats, watching my veins erupt from my shoulders and traps during deads.

Knowing how inspirational the website is, or the the Manual, I can only imagine the pure lifting power I can acheive simply from watching the dvd.

I have not seen any yet. I am 51 years old and love bodybuilding. I recently just got laid off of work, so I can't afford to buy this. I support my children as their mother walked out on us. I really need to get thickness in my back. My sons really want me to enter a bodybuilding contest and I really need improvement in my back. I would really appreciate it if I would be considered to win this DVD. Thank you very much for your consideration.

Animal Arms - it was the first and is the best introduction into Animal that you'd provided to that point. No talking. No BS. Just training.

I was gonna ask if we can post here if we already entered at bb.com, but I suppose a certain SOMEONE posting here answers my question haha

Gotta go with Delts, picked up a couple moves from it, and much like some other often neglected muscles...big, broad shoulders are the sign of a warrior. Don't know if anyone else noticed, but at the beginning when he's walking, you can see he's walking straight towards a car moving in his direction as if to meet head on...which is pretty sweet

I would definately say Animal Arms is my favorite dvd. Maybe this is because arms are one of if not my absolute favorite training day, but I feel it is more because the dvd is no nonsense training, no gimicks, awesome soundtrack, and its the perfect pump video to watch right before I hit the gym. It is particularly effective because Wrath's most impressive attribute is his arms definately, and watching him train them is extremely motivational for me

I would have to go with animal Arms. It was the first dvd that was produced of the series and really stepped up to portray a new and much more hardcore approach to training dvds. Not only did it showcase the infamous Wrath but it was done in such a way that it made you want to immediately hit the weights afterwards like you've never done before. Below is a review i wrote on it right after the release when i got my copy.

"The Dvd is very simplistic, but intensely motivating at the
same time, nothing out of the "Norm" from the Animal line
from Universal. I love how it was shot in an old school gym
without the newer machines anywhere in sight. The DvD
being black & white just makes it so much better then the
conventional mainstream dvd's. Closeups on Wrath as he lifts
accurately portrays the intensity, dedication, and
determination it takes to be a bodybuilder and a true
"Animal".
If you aren't completely pumped after this DvD, then just put
down the Barbell and walk away now."

My favorite Animal DVD is Arms. It is my favorite for 3 reasons:

#1. It was the first Animal DVD. It was not like the other training DVD/videos I have seen...no BS. No talking. No showing the bodybuilder going to the mall or having lunch with his mom. Balls-out training and hard rock music blasting! Total motivation.

#2. Wrath. Finally getting to see the figurehead/icon of the cool ass Animal Ads in action. Way cool.

#3. And most important. I fucking HATE training Arms. Don't know why. Just never look forward to arm day. I figured a fresh look at some training and maybe I would get pumped to try something new. Bottom line is even though it is my least favorite bodypart....Animal made it awesome to hit the gym after watching the DVD.

In my opinion, Chest was the best DVD thus far. For one thing Wrath looked his best not too off-season not too conditioned, The perfect physique. Not to mention the weights the man throws around 405 on the incline for 5? Strong, Its really helped me overcoming plataues on my presses, If Wrath can handle 405 on the incline, you can handle this its bitch weight.

My chest has never been my strongest point but I beleive very much, that Animal helped bring it up to speed with the rest of the physique.

I've ordered Arms, Chest, Delts all on the first day they were available. I'm a loyal user of Pak and Stak2.

Delts was my fav. Liked the cardio and ab work and didn't expect the Chicago song on it.

I've learned a lot watching Wrath's technique. I do a lot of shrugs and probably am way too super strict on form. I feel my growth has improved using Wrath's technique.

I have really been waiting for BACK. This is my lagging part and want to see Wrath work his back.

THANKS !!

The DVD that has inspired me the most was Animal Arms. watching my icon at the time in action gave a whole new meaning to working out to me. ive been watching frank mcgrath (wrath) ever since i first saw him in FLEX back in the day... his forearms and overall body just totally blew me away. i knew that was how i wanted to look and upon reading his training and lifestyle, i knew it only came through hard work and dedication. watching him for the first time just blew me away. the guy has dedication written all over him... just like Animal does. he doesnt say one word throughout the whole film but bangs the shit out of the weights for a solid 30+ mins of screen time. this DVD brought meaning for me in the gym. i go in there now with a whole new demenor... to bring hell.

Out of my animal dvd series I would have to say that Animal Arms is my favorite. I'll be honest, it didn't teach me anything new, but what it does is motivate the hell out of me.

When I just need that extra little push to get that fire inside roaring I just pop it into the aerobics room dvd player and crank it up. It's like Pavlovs dog. Instead of a bell and food. It's that Animal music that makes my arms start aching to be pounded on. More often than not people will come into the room to see what is going on. Some will walk out, others will stand there and watch with me. I can seperate the Animals from the normal. The Animal will just stand there quiet. He sees the video and knows whats going on there. Money says that as soon as the video is over, that gym is going to get LOUD. Regardless of what day they are on, just the intensity of the video gets them pumped.

Overall, I feel animal delts is the best dvd release yet. The inside jacket is the largest and detailed with workout tips, pump ad etc. As for the DVD, I like the entrance to the gym. With the switching on of the lights and fans. Adds a nice hardcore feel to it. Also what better way to start the workout with a triple drop set!

I actually own delts, and I gotta say this is the only video series that I have felt was actually helpful. Some other series show some silly exercises that do work but just not for me. I am sure back will be awesome even if I dont win

I could be cliché and say that Animal Arms is my favorite, but to be honest Chest is mine. Every time I see Frank's bicep veins slide from one side to another I get jacked (plus he uses the suicide grip which is badass).

Nice promo! I've been hearing a lot about the Animal DVD's, but I don't own one yet. I'm always looking for that next thing to help inspire me and give me the tools of the trade I need to take my training to the next level. It'd be great to win Animal Back specifically, as I'm looking to provide some width to my frame. And what better way to achieve that than with a nice wide v-spread? Good luck everyone.

To me, wrath's form on every rep was what sold me. I have all 3 so far, and while he maintains great form for all exercises I believe this is showcased best on the chest dvd. Every rep hitting in the exact same stop, making it look so effertless. I think he looks like a machine, not man on the bench. Also how pumped his chest looks and the camera angles when hes doing cable fly's at the end seals the deal. If this dvd doesn't motivate you to move some heavy ass weight on the bench then nothing will period!

Giant Killer
10-11-07, 2:43 pm
My favorite in the Animal Training series is Delts, for several reasons. First of all, I liked seeing more than just the straight up shoulder training. He did some cardio "Rocky style", copped a squat in the gym and got his meal in, and did some ab work. I like the variety there. Another thing was rear delt training. I'm ashamed to admit it but I never trained rear delts before seeing this DVD...why? I don't know. But something switched on in my head when he did the reverse pec deck, and I was thinking, why the hell do I not train rear delts? They complete the full round cannonball of the top of the arm. Also, when he is walking down the middle of the street, I thought, "Damn, no way a car is going to hit that bigass dude, the car will get hurt." I thought that was a pretty "alpha" shot in it's own special way.

Got all of the Animal DVDs....and I must say that they are all fucking sick. But I like the Arms/Guns DVD, because that's the one I got and saw first. Wrath is a warrior, no talking, no bullshit...just hitting some heavy ass fucking weights. I love the way it starts off when he's driving to the gym and he's ready to kick some ass. And also like how he's sipping on NitroG during his workout. Just solid old school hard work and dedication, that's the way to get it done. The coolest thing is that I got an In-dash DVD player in my car...so whenever I'm going to the gym or just driving around...the DVD is playing, Wrath is in my car. Shit gets me pumped and dialed in to get some shit done, so I'm 100% sure that the Back DVD is gonna be just as good if not better, can't wait to see him owning some heavy ass deads, gonna be awesome for sure.

But i have seen alot of the clips on youtube for them and they look amazing especially animal chest they are pushing crazy weight.. but i would absolutely love to get the animal back dvd because back is by far my favorite day to train and seeing some of these animals knock out an allstar back workout would be sweet. but alas only til early december then i shall order them.....

10-11-07, 3:23 pm
I have and love all three, but my favorite would have to be delts. Why, first off the packaging. Its sick, and comes with a book with from side to side, be wide by the man himself, his training, tips and supps. Then you pop the dvd in the player and see wrath doin' his cardio, then he walks to the gym, and busts his ass as always. Then he takes his supps and eats his pwo meal on a bench. Plain sickness. It seemed like this video was more than a training dvd, almost a lifestyle dvd. Another reason is that delts are one of my favorite muscles and were lagging, but after this dvd, they are no longer lagging. Wrath is fuckin amazing, and I can't wait to see him hit back.

my favorite animal training dvd is the Animal Chest dvd
It shows everthing there is animal
Wrath doing inclines with 405 is the best
then the flat benches then flyes and the pullovers! rocked my world!
it was amazing
and then him getting his last bit energy out on the cable xovers
made me wanna go hit the gym harder than ever, i was pumped
and even after that he goes into his posing, looking like a god,
amazing
just amazing
but what really put the cherry on top was the music
awesome beats that go with the moof of the workout
its as if its communicating without words

i cant wait for the new back dvd, deadlifts!!!!
new back dvd please

I can honestly say that I love all of them... however I'd have to choose Animal Chest as my favorite. I own quite a few other bodybuilding DVDs, and until the Animal series the Dorian Yates one was my favorite, but the intensity and insanity that is the Animal videos is unmatched by any. Wrath is an absolute beast.
While the arms video will always hold a special place in my heart as it was the first edition, Animal Chest is definitely my favorite. The music, the editing, the atmosphere, and obviously the ridiculous amount of weight being pushed around with ease by Wrath is just amazing. It always gets me extremely pumped up before a chest workout.
I can't wait to see what kind of weights Wrath does in the back video. I'm also excited to see what kind of results I'll be getting from stacking the videos with Animal Test :)

Arms, the original animal dvd, has to be my all-time favorite. The workout, Wrath, and the music pumped the shit out of me. I'd watch it before going to lift arms and it never failed to psyche me up! One of the most badass lifting DVD's i've ever seen!

Animal Back will surely not disappoint. And it will probably become my new favorite dvd.

Animal Delts, hands down.

When you see Frankie-boy doing shrugs and you see his traps expand with so much blood, it inspires me to hit the gym and turn my shoulders into boulders.

It's amazing.

I have the animal arms dvd. Let me say it is just wicked the way he turns off the car slowley rolls down the stairs no talking no words just bam throws on the plates and gets down and dirty. Then he really I do not think he needs words you can couont the rep range and the sets. I only own this one money is tight with supps and all. I would love to have a back sounds like a great training and motivator dvd.

I never seen Animal Training DVD, maybe my level of intensity is about the same as Animal's. I don't know...I just go balls to the wall until I leave feeling like I just roamed through the desert without water for three days...maybe I am almost at Animal level.

It would be awesome to see it.

favorite damn rep that is a hard one. You got guns i mean one of the most looked at body part and hardcore hell there are a few excerices on there i never even seen before. Then shit chest anther big bodypart everyone loves to train shit because of that dvd i started to do pullovers. and both make me want to punish myself in the gym. I'm sure this one is no different. hardcore and no bs love the series.

arms was my fav my girl bought it for me.and it was my first animal dvd.
when i first watch it i was amazed. no b.s wrath came in ready to work
no takin, no music. as i watch i couldnt help but see the passion and
determination he had for the iron. it was a kick in the ass for me cause my
arms are not up to the size they should be, intime with some hard work i credit my gains to wrath he inspired me to get my ass in gear fight through the pain

i luv your dvds after seeing iron thru your eyes i can never look back nothin eles matters

I love the arms DVD! Know why...Ladies love a well sculpted pair of bear huggers!!! Besides that, I get seriously pumped when I watch this dvd. Wrath is a beast and that's my mindset. I watch this dvd when I'm on my treadmill!!! Turn it up loud and get crankin'!

I'm through with promos. I never win and I always buy the product(sometimes more then one) when it comes out anyway. All I wanna know is where's the soundtrack?!

I have 2 favorites actually, Arms for the way it pumps me up to go workout, and delts because that showed me a whole new delt routine. Back is one of my favorite bodyparts to train, and I really would like to see the animal way to train back!

I've never seen an Animal DVD yet. I would like to see the new Animal Back DVD because I'm always looking to add some more mass to my back and I think that this DVD would be a great addition to my arsenal. I would love to follow the routine and see the results.

i have seen bits and peices of the other DVDs but i want to see this one because back is my favorite bodypart to workout....now that I am taking pak, flex, nitro, Shock Therapy, and Torrent i hope to make some good gains, animal back would be a nice pre-workout video to pump me up and get me psyched out for back training

I want to see Animal Back because back day is my favorite workout of the week. Its at the end of the week and I love to take out all my stress and aggression on the weights. Seeing what the animals do for their routine would pump me up like nothing else, as well as giving me yet another reason to hit the gym hard and heavy.

I want to see Animal back because its my favorite bodypart to train. Although its my favorite, its not yet my strongest or biggest. I figure I can learn a lot from Wrath specifically because his back is a lagging bodypart in his physique. So he must be training it with extra intensity and focus than say his arms (his obvious strong point). I'm not knocking on Wrath at all. All bodybuilders, pro or amateur, have their weaknesses and they all gotta bring them up if they want to win. I would like to witness and learn firsthand, how Frank McGrath is bringing up his back Animal style!

i have both animal arms and animal chest. Both are very good and its tough to pick just one. I have to so I am going to go with animal arms. Just the drive to the gym... all quiet except the music.. once wrath is at the gym you can tell its pitch black outside. Gets his bag and goes in and goes to work. It only lasts maybe 30 mins, but its a very intense and focused workout. Chest was really intense too, but the quiet drive in the dark to the gym really gets me pumped. I sometimes train super early in the morning before anyone else is up at the gym so the music and focus is all you have to get your ass outta bed. If I don't feel like an early morning workout I pop in the arms dvd and it gets me focused while I drink my shake. I also used to overtrain and spend an hour and a half to two hours at the gym. I have cut down to around 45 mins counting a 15 min warmup and noticed much better results. The video is no talking, but if you pay attention you learn alot.

I Ordered All Three Dvds About A Month Ago And I Have Watched Them At Least Three Times Each. When I Feel Unmotivated Or Im Half Assin It I Just Pop In My Favorite One, Animal Chest, Before I Hit The Iron. Whats Not To Like About It, Wrath Is Moving Some Sick Weight. All The Way Up To 405 With Strict Form,( I Wish I Could Deadlift That ). He Uses Suicide Grip On Every Pressing Move. Not Many People Have The Balls To Do That ,Using That Kind Of Weight ( Thats A True ANIMAL). Also, The Posing At The End Is Awesome Beacause Wrath Has A Crazy Pump. O And I Cant Forget The Music Thats In The Video ( Awesome ). If I Dont Recieve The Free Animal Back Im Sure I Will Buy It Soon, Along With Any Other Animal Dvds That Come Out. Back Is My Favorite Part To Train, Theres Nothing Better Than Barbell Rows And Deadlifts. All Champion Bodybuilders Have Awesome Backs, Like Ronnie Coleman. The Back Separates The Men From The Boys. La8er Iron Bros.

Have yet to see any of the animal dvd's because I spend all of my $$ on animal supps. However I want to see all of them simply because I feed off of any and all knowlage I can get. So seeing some animals throw around weight and performing exercises with perfect form.... who wouldent want to see that??

Arms. Because it was the first glimpse of Wrath in action. It left an impression and set the tone.

Plus, it was an amazing sight to see the man close-grip 405 for reps.

Chest- because thats my favorite body part to train. I loved seeing him push that heavy weight while making it seem effortless. Throughout the whole thing it made me want to go to the gym so that I could become that much closer to achieving Wrath-like hugeness. One day I will be there...

Id love to see the whole Back DVD (without paying for it), because it looks like its gonna be intense after seeing the clips on the the master trailer.

Nothing comes for free in this world...

But getting a copy of this would go a long way to helping me get over UK customs seizing 2 tubs of Torrent, 1 tub of Shock Therapy and a tin of Stak from my bb.com order last week.

I fully intend to buy the other Dvds in my next, tentative order from that site in two weeks.

Oh, and back happens to be my lagging body part...

My back is laggin' a bit with the rest of my body so this may be just the thing to fix that. Wrath's back is nasty stuff too, inspiration to say the least...

I live in Canada so I probably don't even have a chance, but I thought I'd chime in anyway.

I have all three DVDs so far and I don't know if I could choose a favorite. They've all taught me something and has improved my game in one way or another. If I had to pick one, Animal Chest is my favorite. The intensity comes through so clearly... it's inspiring and humbling at the same time... it gets me pumped up for chest day everytime I watch it.

I'm looking forward to this next DVD, it's been a while since Delts came out and I'm curious to see what Wrath does for his back routine. Back has always been a tough area for me to develop and I think this edition in the series will finally get me on the right track.

It's got to be Animal Arms. A buddy of mine let me borrow the dvd and I was blown away. Wrath's intensity is out of control. I didn't know what to expect and I was thinking there would be a lot of talking. Man was I pleasantly surprise to just have an intense workout and nothing more. Is it just me or does Wrath's vascularity look like a road map of Detroit? Holy shit!!!

Yeah I'd have to say animal arms is my favorite. For one reason, It's real. The way he kind of leans against stuff and stairs into nothing after each set. Man I've been there. Waiting your stomach to settle down so you can start your next one. Feeling the heat radiate off of you as you smash through your workout. It's exactly what he's doing. No fluff. Every now and then he mutters a few words, he's In his own world completely. I think he even sends a dirty look at the camera at one point. Classic.

i dont have any animal videos yet. but i would love to see them cause just by reading my animal owners manual i got exited and had to goto the gym right afterwards. the back sounds like the one id like to see the most cause i feel i do not work it properly. my back has nice cuts and looks great, but its size just isnt ware i want it to be. so looks like i just have to see how the big dogs tell me to get it done
