Ok. As some of you know, I will be attempting to take the stage in 08'. I have met several guys who have done shows, and placed high, and by comparison - I should be competing too.

The time has come.

However... where do I begin?

There are so many leagues I see, NABBA, NPC, natural leagues?

What would be the best way to go?

I just don't know what contest I should go for.

I just realized that if I was going to do a show in may, I gotta start dieting in January... so I wanted to get this locked in and get my goals set and ready to go.

Please, if you have any idea where I should be competing, let me know.

If your natural then I would stick to natural organizations as it will be a more level playing field.

Next I would see which organizations have local contests in your area. For your first show it would be better if you didn't have to travel too far. Where do you live?

After you pick an organization I would also suggest that you go see a show in person so you know exactly what to expect during prejudging as each organization does it slightly different.

Start small I would suggest local gyms have comps and alot of Natural Org's have low advertised shows all over the country....The NPC is the biggest I would say but again if you are natural do a natrural show (at first to get your feet wet)

The shows I am looking at next year are from here
