This is my home gym, where I did all of my training and worked from age 16 to 26. Through high school, college (holidays and odd weekends) and beyond. I still love getting in there when visiting family and friends. One of a dying breed of serious Mom and Pop gyms... Well-equipped with everything from old '80s Nautilus machines to the whole Hammer Strength range, squat rack, power rack, several benches, 2 full racks of DBs, a bunch of 100 lb plates and enough pies to choke a horse. Make it known if you'll be turning out for this one. Bet your ass I'll be there. Peace, G

I'm not quite sure how to explain it. I was a sushi virgin till I was about 21. Never really liked the idea of raw fish. Once I tried it, however, I was hooked! Now, I gotta have it as often as I can. I guess ya just gotta give it a shot. I usually stick with the basic tuna, salmon or yellow tail.

people were talking about the next jersey one last night at the gym. a lot of people really like that gym. rumor has it we can even train legs there as they have ALL of our favorite equipment. Nebula leg press that can hold ~2000 pounds and a power squat machine......

those two pieces i really beleive helped me put on over 2" on my twiggy legs or maybe it's training with big al and him not giving me a chance to slack off !

should be a fun one, whatever we train.

Strong and shapely is one of the best gyms around, they have a room just for arms, 40 machines just for back, a monolift, chains, dumbells up to 250lbs and a lifting platform! Plus the owner is super nice and loves bodybuilding.

If you are willing to drive to Essex county, I used to train at Coliseum gym in Newark and it was a pretty good place and the prices weren't bad at all. Also, Diamond Gym in Maplewood is on an Animalpak "Top 10 Hardcore Gyms In The Country..." list, but I hear it's pretty ghetto. I'm not familiar with anything in Morris County though.

Here's the deal. March 22. 5 o'clock, between 30-50 people. Will definately need a more precise head count. Menu options Broiled Salmon Fillet, 1LB Ground Sirloin, Grilled Chicken. Choice of baked potato, rice, or mash. Choice of soup or salad. The price per person will be around 20.00 dollars per person, all inclusive tax/gratuity. simply bring 20.00 for food. I think this price should be affordable for everyone.

I have one request: No tank tops/ginny tees/wife beaters. Due to their dress code policy.

This place is a 10 min drive from Strong and shapley.

Since i'm headin up the ABC at Strong and Shapley on March 22nd, i want to have this organized.

training starts at 2pm, and at 3:45 we will have a great seminar for all in yellow.

at 5pm we have plans to eat at a local place.....5 min drive from the gym.

Just wanted to make sure that the new sign ups saw this stuff.
