I am up in the Grundy, Virginia area seeing if anyone else is located around these parts. Grundy is right on the borders of KY and WV.
i live in norfolk. we have powerhouse down where im at. we should try and get something together....maybe while im home on leave

I live DC and would definitely be down for a workout. I was really bummed when I couldn't find a Powerhouse or any real serious gyms in the area so a VA Animal meetup would really fill the order

due to location (working in Iraq) i cant step up, else i would.
now, i am coming home the beginning of december. i think i can get my wife to buy off on letting me go train for a morning or afternoon, just not all day.
so on that note, there are 2 gyms that i know of in the Hampton Roads area that probably wouldnt mind us training there:

There are a few of us that already have the fever, hopefully it gets contagious and we can get a nice chapter rolling down here. Mostly just a conglomeration of Southern law and pharmacy students just gotta get them to drop some books for a few hours a day and pick up some barbells.

Did some great leg presses, hang cleans, front squats, preacher curls, and bout made my arms explode. Legs are still jello. Great work out. I am in the process of getting ready for the Arnold classic. Any others wanting to go or meet up with us letme know. So far we got two definite members. In addition, I am working on putting together an email list to send out to members notifying them of available training times and when they can possibly meet for another ABC Event. It is also a good way to exchange any questions, tips, suggestions, training routines, or anything else wanting to go down. Just hit me up if you want to be added to it.

Yep, the Y down here is the only gym we have in town. Not the most hardcore, but it will get the job done.

We had a great success Saturday and I wanted to personally thank everyone for coming and attending. Had some new guys that hopefully will be registering soon on here. Wanted to thank scals for coming down and training with us. Great work as always and just wanted to say looking forward to the next event. Maybe get one around the first of the month of May if people seem interested. Pics and vids will be up later bout it.

Yesterday was definately balls out, i just woke up today to find my back and traps crippled with soreness. Awesome workout, everyone gave all they had and then some. Just want to welcome our new members and Scals17 it was a pleasure moving weight with you fellas. Look foward to the next gathering of like minds and raising hell with you all again.

I would assume yes, so long as you show up to an ABC. I don't know if their is particularly a membership in one so much as they are set up orgainzed gatherings for brothers/sisters of the iron way of life to enjoy time together. It's about spreading the lifestyle more so than membership (my opinion). It is about the lifting, the lifestly, the food afterwards, trading training philosyphy, and all the great things associated with this. I dont know if any of that helps. I will ask one of the national people for further clerification too. Be on the look out for a better answer, or I will give you one on the 16th. Sound good?

I have both sitting around. I prefer pump because of the sustained release of energy. ST helps when you need a quick jolt though. Both are winners, but I would stick to Pump if you are going to buy just one.
