Why in pounds?

1 sweet potato has about 30-40g carbs.

4 ounces has roughly 30 grams of carbohydrates. Therefore 1 pound would be 120 grams of carbohydrate. You can handle any further math I'm sure.

i ask pounds because i got 4 sweet potatoes that would be defined as 'medium sized', so about 30-40g as you say. Weird thing is they measured out to be 2.5 lbs, which would put them a little over half a pound each. With that, 1 lb of sweet potatoes having 120g carbs would make these 60g. I know this is getting way too technical i was just wondering if my info was correct i guess
