Fellas, this is a public service announcement. Judging from that desktop thread, it appears that many of ya are using the Animal Icons as your desktop image. So if you're interested in seeing 'em sized for the desktop, post what resolution you keep your monitor at. I'll see if I can't get at least one of the popular sizes for some of the Iconography. Thanks fellas.

What about making a Collage type graphic, of all of them for the desktop, as One bg?

1024*768 is what i set everything at..

being a geek, and seeing most resolutions users run at. I've got a list of average resolutions.
the most oommon I see are:
1024 by 768 -> 4:3 ratio
1280 by 1024 -> 5:4 ratio
1440 by 900 -> 16:10 ratio
1600 by 1200 -> 4:3 ratio
1920 by 1200 -> 16:10 ratio
the resolution I run at is a 16:9 ratio (720p, 1080p)
the highest res out right now is 2560 by 1600 (16:10 ratio) for all the 30" big ole widescreens.

I forgot to add, the first two pictures (the one for pak and the other for stak) turned out really well. The new ones, for the rest of the line, ended up being small on my desk top.

Make sure the "position" is set to "stretch" instead of "center"

Just had a glimpse into your 800*600 world and now my eyes hurt and need some severe reconfiguring...

Make sure the "position" is set to "stretch" instead of "center"
I liked the first two cause I could have a black bar at he bottom and top (kinda like a widescreen movie). I dont know, to me it looks pretty cool.

I love these Icons, if that's their "proper" name. My favorite is the Nitro. Got that as my background right now. I set it center and then matched the rest of the desktop with the red color in the Icon like mentioned above. Took a little time to match it just right, but I got it. Looks sweet.

Yeah, but you said the others didn't work out for you, that they were small...and I was just saying that usually the case is it's set to center
