Hmm .. Damn thats hard bro. I did SLDL on a hack squat machine, that was nice, i also do lunges, which i forgot to put in there, i keep my lunges on ham day, try doing high plate leg press, which i also forgot to write damn lol, then do one leg seated curl that would help too.

Haha. Ya i need to get my hands on that .. and the forearm circuit is better if its showed to you, but what i do is cable reverse curls superset with one arm reverse cable curls (just flick the wrist so your hitting all forearms) then DB wrist twists then PVC pipe rollup. I do that sometimes 4 times total no stopping.

Im new to the whole deadlift thing. I admit, i stayed away for YEARS, actually never did it. In football for max outs i would be absent that day, between 130-150 in HS didnt do me much justice. I just recently actually started incorporating them into my regiment on a daily. I started with rack deads, and moved to the floor. So here i am. Ready. Time to tackle another rep in this world. My world. 405 x 5 ..

Hell ya i would love to help you fellas out. First and foremost, every pose starts with your toes, thats something my coach BEAT into me. If you ever see me pose i literally look at my feet first on everything, lock them out and then set your upper body. Relaxed is the hardest to get, and the sooner you learn it the better off you will be. Relaxed is not relaxed and every muscle is tense. Play towards the judges/camera. Pose often and look at your self. If your doing a side pose, the more your turn your upper body, the smaller your waist looks .. but remember to always look forward on the quater turns. Side chest / side tri look at judges/camera. On front relaxed, lean slightly forward so the lats come out more. On rear relaxed lean slightly back as this also brings your lats out more to the judges. On rear lat spread, pull it out then lean back. I have seen so many guys never lean back and the whole depth of their backs are lost. POSE POSE POSE. Thats so key, i know its going to be in front of a camera but the final results will show how conditioned you are.

Always like coming back to a solid shoulder exercise at the end of a workout. It'll definitely fuck with your body. You move to traps, so your shoulders figure they're done for the night. Ha, nope!

What division do you look to come in at for your contest?

The past few shows i have been a middle weight so depending on the federation which is 175 or 176 1/2 . I have been tipping the scales the last two shows nd i had to actually run around in the heat to make it for the 175 to shed that weight. So im thinking i might just bump up and be a light heavy and come in 180 or so this year, it wont be the top of the class where i want to be, but i have to start my decent somewhere, and i think when im chasing a weight i lose muscle mass.

Of course conditioning/definition/solid ripped lean mass physique with proportions is the goal, not necessarily a specific weight. But how come you like coming in at the top of your class?

Haha thanks brother, that fires me up. Deads are my new found addiction, and i cant be stopped. They burn and i long for back day every week to see how i push past the numbers. I love it. On a side note, but GF and i made a quick trip out there for our anniversary. We woke up late on Sunday due to good old seaside fun on Saturday, lol. So we didnt get out there until 3 or so. We walked a bit, enjoyed the city, and grabbed some food at a nice little local irish pub. We planned on doing the ZOO or something but it ended up just dinner, either way it was fun, i love it out there. Its so much more calm then NYC.
