Tomato pie

I'm not positive on what it is. I looked at the pictures, is it just pizza with pizza sauce on the top, no cheese?

I was wondering that myself....

pie here in louisiana involves a pastry like dough, and something sweet on the inside.

nothing with tomatoes....

It is a "serve cold-room temp" softed baked dough with just sauce and sprinkled parm. cheese on it..floded with sause, very soft, melts in your mouth...they also make a "white pie" with an olive oil-basil base with sweet peppers and anchovies..

Thats where I saw it, was in the philly gathering. I couldnt figure out what it was though. That sounds really good. I've got to make it someday.
