I am trying to lose some body fat (I am at 24%) is it best not to eat before I work out? I get up and take animal cuts with water then hit the gym 45 min later and do cardio for about 30-50 min then hit the weights then protien shake and eat. What to you guys think am I on the right path to loose the fat?

I personally feel weight lifting is for gaining muscle, and some conditioning. Cardio and dieting is for fat loss. I split my cardio and weight training for that reason. Cardio in the morning with your cuts and a whey protein shake (to reserve muscle). Then a clean diet for the remainder of the day, and a big meal about 2 hrs before you lift and another whey shake 1 hr before your workout. Because you need energy for weight training. With this being said there is about a million different ways to go about losing fat, just do some reading and try different things to find what will work for you. At 24% bf you have a long road to travel, so persistence is going to be a big thing for you. Stay focused and good luck let us know how its going.

I would do cardio in the morning right when you wake up. Then the second session should be later on in the day after you lift weights.

i would wake up and do the cardio and if possible weights later in the day
i wouldnt do cardio then immeditely do weights after either
if u had to do everything in morning i would wake up, have a small breakfast, do your weights then hit cardio right after lifting
