Cereal and Milk. great video btw. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0UAZu0vF618

ok, enough of my incesant bull. I'm bulking, really actually bulking, for the first time. I've been hitting the gym 6-7 days out of the week for the past 9 months or so...wondering why I haven't been seeing the fruits of my labor. Well, probably cuz I've been eating tuna, salmon, peanut butter, skim milk, wheat bread, chicken breasts, and orange juice. And the ON whey protein shake. That's probably why I've only gone from 155-160. I was hovering in a 8-10% BF buffer zone. ANYWAY.

my question is: Is a bowl of cereal and milk a good/bad breakfast for me. I've eaten a bowl of cereal EVERY morning for breakfast, Since i can remember. I don't have much time in the morning...so this is probably my only option. Unless you can crack open my skull and pour in some knowledge. cuz i sure as hell need it.

Quick, Easy, 5min less breakfast ideas.....for a bulk.

Thanks guys/gals.

Nothings quicker or easier than getting a blender and customising your own brekkie 'mass shake', no getting away from those cals full of carbs and protein. You sound like a typical 'hardgainer', so i'd be having a few of these throughout the day.

If your a serial cereal lover, then simple. Shake up some choc real gains or semi-skimmed milk mixed with your whey and pour over a bowl of oats/muesli and eat, delicious, simple and quick.

Cracking open some eggs, or just knecking some egg whites has to be the quickest brekkie. The possibilities are endless and theres a serious array of threads on this topic, search around and broaden your horizens bro...

egg beater in the microwave for 2 min, quick oats, the easiest and fastest-protein shake with milk and eat some bannanas or throw some oats in your shake. If you eat cereal just watch out that it isnt loaded with sugar.

I've been pouring my protien shake onto some mixed grains and stirring in some natural peanut butter. Fast and filling. Like gjn, sometimes I'll eat a banana and/or an apple too. You're on a bulk. See food, eat food.

all these idea sound awesome...but they all revolve around the same issue. My blender sucks ass, leaks, is a pain to clean (i.e. have to use dishwasher every time i use it), and is all around a piece...

but i'm loving the ideas....keep'm comin. I guess i'm in the blender market...:D

thanks everyone.

If you get a multi-grain cereal and natural PB you can mix it up with a spoon.

I like it better this way anyhow. I don't heat it up. The freash oats, barley, etc... and the PB with the Protien shake tastes awesome and has a pleasing texture.

Make things the night before, boiled eggs etc.

Protein shake, shaken not blended, and poured over uncooked oats.

Scramble eggs do not take long (crack them all the night before, or eggbeaters), throw in a whole wheat tortilla, salsa.

protein powder and dry oats mixed in bowl w/ water-took me 35 secs to prpepare and 2 minutes to eat
about 50g protein and 50g carbs

scrambled 5 eggs in a skillet this morning-it took me 3 minutes to warm the pan, 2 minutes to cook em, and 5 minutes to eat em. have a bowl of oats with that.
about 500 cals roughly

or like i do sometimes when im crazy rushed have a bannana and then put the dry protein powder in my mouth take a swig of water and youre good to go

On a day off, make a big batch of G-Diesel pancakes and heat them up in the morning. One word: Yum.

Lowdown had an awesome little mixture that he posted a time back... here's da link LD's borrowed breakfast (http://forum.animalpak.com/showthread.php?t=7868&highlight=milk+peanut+butter+oatmeal)

1 cup oats (dry)
1 cup milk
2 scoops whey
2 tsp peanut butter

Mix that all up in a tupperware bowl and put it in the fridge to cool overnight. I tried it a couple times and it was pretty good. Word of warning... don't try and go work out for at least 30min - 1hr after downing this. It don't sit well... especially on legs days!

All the ideas above r great, but consider just oats n eggs for brekkies, the ultimate mass builder...
also, if ur not seeing results in the gym it might be because ur training 6-7 days a week....& ur bodys not recovering, back it down to 4-5 day splits rotating, this with a solid diet, im sure ull c results....

dude just down a 50gram protein shake with your breakfast. Sometimes I do that when I get sick of making eggs for the 50th day in a row and I didn't get enough sleep, just cereal and a shake. Or just throw 2 scoops whey into a bowl of oatmeal.
