hey its me again and if you read my earlier post " im on a roll but worried when its going to stop" youd know that by the end of october i would have increased my deadlift from 315 to 395. i had said i hit a plateau and the rolled died at like 355 but that was only for a week. tomorow im going for that 395 pound deadlift. right on track. and next friday i will pull a 405. i will pull it!
i started m-stak yesterday and have to say it helped alot. new favorite product and ive been on alot of good ones! cant wait to see what it does for my back day.
i said i would carry my streak on to a 475 pound deadlit for this forvm and happy to say it has not died down. the fire burns stronger than ever now. i know a 475 is probably less then most of you warm up with but for me at,well by then 17 years old and considering it started with a 315 max back in the end of september i feel it is a great increase. i will post tomorow to let you all know what goes down in monter gym tomorow.
Thanks, Daniel Desmarchais
hell yea brotha, push it to the limit. Let us know how it goes, good luck with the iron. Peace

sorry took so long, my comp was down for a bit. big disapointment to some to add suspence but deads didnt happen yesterday on back day. my lower back was still in no shape to dead after my partial squats on leg day. i had pulled something minorly. its fine now and all that means is instead of doing a 10 pound jump ill have to do a 20 pound jump to 405 next sunday. good news is my bb row went from a 225 to 295 for a 1 rep max, did 2 reps rest pause style. still managed to pull out a good back day without the deads.

thanks man, i got a good leg day to do tonight, may take out my partial squats so im 100 fuckin percent for deadlifts.they kill my lower back! i was curiouse, if anyone knows if a 405 pound deadlift is good for someone weighing 175 pounds? if it changes anything im 17 years old basically and 5 foot 7. i know the world record is in the 1000 pound mark so im waaaay far from that now but if this roll does not stop, by the end of 2008 ill be holding the new deadlift record! i know my streak will end, i know i will plateau. hell, i could plateau when i go for the 405. if that weight breaks me, you better believe it will also leave me lying on the floor most likely knocked out too. it could very well happen. i know that i will plateau in the near future. its a fact. i also know that i will break the same plateau that broke me earlier. heres another fact: i will break out of the inevedible plateau which is waiting for me.
days are running out, chills run down my spine thinking of that lift that has been starring me in the face for my whole 4 years in this game. do not think time is running out for me, time is running out for that 405 pound bar. its time as a benchmark is soon over and soon it will be a memory. after all, the next week ill be going for 415!

For your age a 405 lb deadlift is very good. I deadlifted 405 at age of 19 and I havent gotten to far because of injuries. Make sure you get warmed up very well and train smart. By the time your gonna be 19 you will be hitting more then 500 lbs probably. So keep at it and trian safe.

thanks, i warm up very well i feel. i deadlift after 5 sets of bb rows which needs some lower back help to hold your self straight and 5 sets of wide grip chins. then i do 5 sets of deads. first i do 315 for 4-5 reps or if i can more. then 365x2 then ill do 385x1-2 then my record 405x 1 then back down to 315 to rep it out and then i do strip sets with it. after all im a bodybuilder, not a powerlifter. but i take the best from both worlds

I didn't know who Rob Van Dam was until a year after I started calling myself Mr. Thursday Night.
Here's how I got the nickname:
Back in 2002, I was at karaoke one Thursday night and gave a friend of mine a KILLER intro. He wasn't able to do the same for me, so I reached down in the pit of my own depravity and came up with the following:
Ladies and gentlemen, from the great fighting city of Jersey City, NJ, weighing 198 lbs., a man whose arrest on the show Cops remains Fox's highest rated program in history; a man who ALWAYS gets discounts on high-priced call girls; ladies and gentlemen...the two-time Father of the Year, a true piece of ass, MR. THURSDAY NIGHT!"
(Bear in mind I was 30 years old at the time.)
The nickname just came to me, almost like an apparition. Needless to say, the audience sat there, staring, in stunned silence, and I launched into a LiteFM staple, "I'd Really Love to See You Tonight," by the legendary England Dan and John Ford Coley.
So, as you can see, I'm a triple threat: Dad, Animal, and Karaoke Superstar.

oohhhh, ok, anyways, RVD lost that name when he came to monday night raw and then smackdown moved to friday nights so mr thursday night had no morwe meaning to it.

Well, now it has meaning!
Remember, you're now my record-breaking partner, so let's break some records!
(I'm seeing a doctor for the shoulder injury on Tuesday. I'm going to tell him to multiply whatever therapy he'll give me by approximately 1000 so I can get my ass back in the gym as quickly as humanly--or as inhumanly--possible.)

lol ya! i have no idea how i could do that but it would be a cool idea.
my gym does not allow any cameras or filming device anyways.besdides, the next week ill be going for 415.
im at the 32 hour point before the lift. had another batch of my easy to make, chilli on steriods which im posting up in the diet section soon. this shit is loaded. 110 grams of complete protien, 145 grams protien including the grams from the black bean soup and the macaroni. 160 carbs, 80 percent starch, 10 percent fibre and 10 percent sugar.35 grams of fat, very little trans or saturated. 1500 calories and loads of vitamins and minerals. i take it in 2 shots.
times running near. will i succeed? will i be broke? i do not have the answere. all i know is im giving it my all and preparing for glory or failure. the outcome will only change what my deadlift will be next week. again a 405 or a 415. its gonna take more then a missed lift to get rid if me.

one of my sets is a 1 rep max. set 1 i do 315 for higher reps and bring em down to a max on set 4. then set 5 its back to 315 for reps. look at powerlifters and strongman competitors. none of these guys are any where near small. im goin for more of their look then a bodybuilder. i conside it freak building or animal building. freaky size plus freaky strength = all im about.
