Hey guys im new to the forvm and am really interested in the ABC central texas. right now im living out in stephenville for school. What sort of a qualification do i need to join?

a member of the forvm and have an animal T... thats all i believe

Needless to say I got destroyed in both mass and unfortnately conditioning because I under/overestimated a few things, and cut some corners where I maybe shouldn't have.

Anyway, mistakes and last place aside, it was completely awesome to step on stage and perform for the crowd. And thankfully since this is Texas, everyone supports everyone, even the guys at the bottom. But it's all experience and knowledge I'll have in preparation for the show next year.

Ouch....hey now, Kobe's has some of the best sushi I've ever had and I've been around the world. For s far inland as we are and especially for San Marcos or the state of Texas for that matter it's damn good....but steak ALWAYS sounds good to me.

Bite me!!! I'm up and walking....a bit stiff and soar but I'll work through it.....I don't think "feeling" the pop in my lower back bothered me as bad as "hearing" it. Oh well....only thing that pisses me off was that it was only 455 that got me...oh well. Hey, I was getting it...3rd rep got me...should have stopped after 1 or 2.

Hell, it only took me about a little over an hour to make it from Liberty Hill. Austin is nothing. It's going to be hard to find something in Austin where the gym manager is also one of the participants. It's amazing how that smooths any administrative hiccups, and he even had minions to take our pictures!

Its been a hell of a ride so far. I am constantly tweaking my diet. Just when I think I have it down I figure something out better. Its really amusing to me sometimes. I am averaging around 1 - 1 1/2 lbs a week right now. I just have to make sure I keep my diet in check and hit the gym hard when I am in there. I do thank the cardio the most. I know the weight lifting is contributing to the weight loss as well, but I know the cardio is really doing it for my body.

She said today she has noticed my chest sticking out more then before, and my stomach is getting flatter and actually starting to lift a little. I have dropped 2 waist sizes so far too. Down from 40 to 36. That is the most awesome thing. I actually bought two new swim suits the other day from Old Navy and I actually was able to get XL and they are too big. So its awesome.

CONGRATS on the weight loss, after you get down to where you wanna be, you should be just as excited when the med/larges stop fitting because your chest/shoulders, bi/tris, quads/hams wont fit into average joe clothes....

Hey what's good fellas? i'm vacationing down in San Antonio to visit some family for the week and I was wondering if anyone can recomend a solid no-bullshit gym to train at. I figure there's got to be some guys on this thread who can point me in the right direction.

The Olympic gym....solid place, Red's gym....Golds on Naco and Thousand Oaks is pretty good.
