View Full Version : Johnson's Journey: The NPC Caveman Classic
It's me mchik with my pre-contest log of my journey to my first figure competition in 08'. I had a good bulk and definitely brought up some weak areas. At my last show I weighed in at 99 lbs. that Friday morning...which totally sucked! I'm ending my bulk with a weight of 131 lbs. Monday, November 5 I will be about 20 weeks away from the show....pending it's in late March like I've been told. Let the fun begin.....

Good Luck!
Awesome wieght gain Mchik.
Where do you surmise your final show wieght will be? It's hard for me to fathom you being at 99lbs in those piccies you posted previously.
It will be fun to see what you've done to that growing figure. Do you have to also plan a routine for your stage presence or it there a set pattern for all of the women to follow?

Hopefully my weight will be in the 108-112 range....we'll just have to see....we don't get to do a routine, just individual and group quarter turns...
yep, i was all of 99 lol. I didn't think I looked that tiny though....when i think of 99 lbs. i see a walking bag of bones.

Thought I would post my supplement plan for the first part of my contest prep....this is just the "transition phase" getting used to eating the same thing at the same time every day.
AM: Pak, w/ extra calcium and vit. c
Pre-WO: 1 scoop of Shock Therapy or some type of N.O. product
2 tsp. EAA stack mixed w/ 2.5 tbsp. gatorade powder + ST
4 GH Max tabs
Post-WO: 1 scoop of Storm
2 tsp. EAA stack mixed w/ 2.5 tbsp. gatorade powder
vit. c
Before Bed: 2 GH Max tabs
for now cardio is at 30 min. 3 x week. Thats all I'm allowed to put up....i can't have people commenting on my diet saying fix this or that when it comes to getting ready for a show.....sorry.
Have fun. I respect anyone who can suffer from a diet for 20 weeks.

140 days in the hole. Today is the first day on my "diet". Things are easy now, but for me, after getting through the first one, it should just be a walk in the park.....just gotta shut up and do it! Training is still the same for know. Chest and triceps are on the agenda for today.

Well, yesterday I called the promoter of the show I was hoping to do. By the way, it was actually called the Cajun and not Caveman...my bad..hehe. Anyway, he said due to some argument a few years back, he more than likely wasn't going to have it anymore. It wasn't held last year either. So now that means that my first show will be the 2008 NPC Northwest Arkansas Classic in early/mid June......(sigh). I was really hoping to compete in that one too because I have lots of family members in the Shreveport/Bossier City area. Oh well. : (
More time to bring more of you to the table.
