I've noticed on products like Pump and Stak2 that the directions state to take on an empty stomach. Most of us here on this site rarely have an empty stomach. For example, I usually stop eating about 20-30 minutes before taking Pump and it seems to be working fine for me. I know my stomach isn't completely empty by the time I take it. I like to keep my body in a constant state of anabolism (or as close as I can to 'constant') so I'm always eating. By allowing the food of my last meal to completely digest would cut into my next eating 'window,' potentially decreasing the rate of anabolism.
Is it in our best interest to allow our stomach to empty prior to taking these supps? If not, why put "preferably on an empty stomach" in the directions? Does food decrease the efficiency of Pump and/or Stak2? I'm a science geek so I like knowing these things. If anyone has any insight, speak up.
BTW, I'm not doubting the effectiveness of Animal products here. I'm currently on a Pak/Flex/Pump/Nitro stack and it's freakin' killer.
