is there any exercises that target the outter sweep specificaly other than pointing in when doing leg extentions, iv read places that hack squats do but i feel nothing other than my tear drop basicaly when doing them, is there any specific way to place feet apart and angling different little things that may help?
thanks
I have no true answer, but perhaps try narrow stances on all leg exercises, and carry on with the leg extensions placement.
my 3 cents.

try pointing your toes inward toward each other. that works the outside for me. then when i point them up it works out my whole thing but mostly the middle part of it. so obviously pointing them outward hits your "teardrop".
thats how it works for me so i dunno, give it a try and lemme know how it turns out.

also the angles that i listed for leg ext. work for when you do squats or leg presses w/e.

Your quad sweep is largely genetic. The best thing to do is to get your quads as big as possible. Follow Vinny's advice and switch it up.
Im with d monster on this one- feet placement and stance width help me target certain areas of the quad. Toes in on extensions and really FLEX at the top. Narrower stances in squat and leg press can help too.
there is an article in the animal owners manual that answers this question very well, from Machine. its on page 89.
you can download it from this site.

thanks every1, i already do the toes pointing in on the leg extentions didnt think it would be great on knees trying it on leg presses and squats feels bit unsafe but il give it a go lighter, il also give that leg workout vinny suggested a go using the toe angles and stuff but i dont know how to do sissy squats, heard of them loads but never seen
Read an article about the issue of the outer sweep, and the guy recommended you do this on the Smith machine, yeah i know it don't work stabilizers but if it can help then try it, even to get your balance/understanding.
