View Full Version : Any cambered bar fans for chest work?

Started using the cambered bar again for decline work. With a shoulder issue I have to start light & SLOW reps and more than regular benching; make the pecs push the iron. In my case, seems it helped to have the middle cambered part pointing slightly towards the feet during the rep. Feels good.

Anyone else have any tips, pointers? The bar's also good for doing reverse shrugs without your butt getting in the way.

Do it to a 1board or you may injure yourself depending on how much ROM you get

Thanks, Squat Heavy. I'm just lowering it to no less than 1 &1/2" above the chest and 'listen' to how the shoulder feels. With the light weight warm up, the shoulder gave the go ahead.
