I leave one week of rest between each bodypart workout; be sure that you're eating enough to help recovery.

you should generally wait a good 7 days for any body part unless youre talking forearms or calves, seems you havent worked your legs out in a good 9 months you might be a little more sore than usual so you might wanna take a little extra time, everyones body is different whenever you feel youre good to go again would be best

I know everybody should do whatever works for them but your split is kinda weird. Legs are a huge muscle group and should really have a day all to themselves. And yeah, 1 week rest before working the same bodypart again is good.

i would def separate back and legs-man i can hardly stand after a back workout-theres no way i could squat after lol
and i wouldnt work bis the day before back-i feel theyre used too much in working back

Not to mention in some of the moves you use the same body parts as stabilizers.

Personally, I don't think it matters 3 days or 10 days rest between body parts as long as you get ADEQUATE rest. I'll be doing only 3/4 days between my leg days come Feb...

I work each body part twice a week. And you wont feel sore at all once you get some blood in the muscle and start your sets. If your worried about failing set the safety pins or something. I say youll be ready in 72 hours at most.

no, don't do this.... bad idea. Work each muscle 1 time per week. I don't care who you are its so much better when you do. Every person that I convinced to do this went up in size and strength within a few weeks. You just have to do it.

Also, why do you do chest and delts alone and then squeeze everything else into 2 days. Back and legs (IMO) are the 2 biggest muscle groups and should be isolated if anything, especially since these days have deadlifts and squats, two VERY draining exercises. Chest can be done w/ tris and delts w/ bis or vice versa.

As far as your squats, go lighter and let your muscles get used to it! Its not an imidiate thing. Go ahead and work them again as soon as they do not feel sore... this could be a week and a half!!! Just give 'em time. Go lighter w/ lots of reps (12-15) for a few weeks and then start going up from there. Good luck man! And make sure you always squat and deadlift, the rest of your body will thank you for it!

Listen, the only squat problem one should have is that one can't do squats seven days a week.

I have been known to use squat and deadlift on the same day, but only those two exercises for powerlifting on the same day. When I do more specific exercises I would still let legs have their own day to train, because of how exhausting it can be. Do some research, find some good programs and experiment. Most of all don't stress to much about it cuz then you won't put in max effort.

you can work the same bodypart 2x a week....it is the basis of Westside Barbell Training (mind you this is a PL template to train not a BB) were there are ME days and DE days.....if you are going to squat twice a week i would suggest that you preform your DE Squat and Deadlift one day, wait 72 hours then preform your ME Squat day.
