When cuttin' carbs? Do you cut fat as well? Take in only protein? I remember readin' somewhere that it wuz okay to take in fat as long as you cut carbs...and that fat is good for you. I'm still a li'l new to the Low Carb diets...for those followin' this approach...do you cut fats as well? Are there those who don't cut fat and still notice that they are gettin' leaner followin' the low-carb diet?

Couldn't find one specific to my question. Most were talkin' 'bout healthy fats...or certain carbs, but not cuttin' both carb and fat...and wut may occur when you still ingest a certain amount of fat.

if you cut out too many/much fat you can kiss your sex drive good bye, along with possibilyy of muscle loss, major lack of energy and and over all lack of good health. fats play a major role in hormone levels (testosterone and cholestoral levels) along with a long list of other health factors.
although i have heard of BB cutting out carbs and fat 2-3 weeks out from BB contests it would not be an optimal health decsion or a smart BB decsion either.
In summary...if you cut out carbs you need energy from some where...fats and protein. If you cut out fats youre runnign on only protein and once you go past a certain amount of protein for the day it isnt used efficiently. Plus protein has 4 calories per gram so thats a shit load of protein. Fat is 8 calories per gram.
