Brothers I had a revelation. There are two kinds of people in this world. Those who will sacrifice, and those who won't. Sacrifice means giving up that which is most valuable and precious for a greater purpose. To aspire to be more, to live for more than one's self. It's funny how some people claim to sacrifice but there's nothing but empty promises on their altars. In this life we only get one shot. One shot ta give all we got ta better ourselves and others. In the gym a person's mentality is relflective upon the way they lift. You see the guys in the gym with name brand shirts that are too tight throwin weight around and talkin like they own it. We're the black sheep, the crazy hardcore lifters that know that time is too precious to waste talkin, and if someone's really got the pump, they probably won't be talkin about it anyways. They give us that look that we know so well, the one that knows they're jackin around but they won't do anything ta change that. The look that says, "Yeah I should be liftin like that too". But those looks just feed our fire fellas. Never quit. If the weight threatens to crush you, eat the pain, thank God you're alive and throw that set up so everyone knows you put it up. Sacrifice. And like Machine says, when the bombs drop you'll find you prepared adequately. Vires et Honos, Cedo Nulli - Strength and Honor brothers, I yield to no one.
Peace

last night was like this for me, had a late night leg day only a couple guys in the gym. But once I started to squat everone started to give me that look, like you aint gonna do it. They already saw me limping around from leg extensions and leg curls, what they didn't know was that those were my warm ups. I loaded up the squat bar and knocked out 5 insane sets, nearly collapsing after each one no spotters. Everone in that room doubted me and I had no choice but to prove them wrong. And i was only half way done with my workout..

Sounds like a good workout Beast! Theres nothing like shocking everyone with your intensity. They shake their heads in disbelief - and we know what they're thinking "how can he put himself through so much pain - willingly" We can because we face the hardest mother fucker on the earth - ourselves.

Preach it, brotha. Like one of the original Animal ads (the one that shows squats) says, "I make my sacrifices every day."
