FYI: this should go in the supps section.
I take one at night before bed ...I tried the powders and the grains and it smells so bad and tastes worse...I cannot deal with it at all. A capsule down the hatch is much more tolerable.

Yeah, I knew it went in the supps section, but obviously put it in the wrong one. I tried to delete and change, but couldn't do so. Someone can feel free to move it. By the way, everyone post the exact supplement you use.

Muscle- what up Bro. I thought for sure yours was Udo's.
Udo's 3-6-9 Blend. Certified Organic and tastes so good in a shake. Also using Sesamax (sesamin) by Axis Labs to help cut.
Kind of a generic brand, but isn't just the 3's, it's got 6's and 9's. Super Omega Complex by Spring Valley (found it in Wal-Mart). Contains:
Fish Oil 800mg
Flaxseed Oil 150 mg
Safflower Oil 200 mg
Borage Seed Oil 50 mg
I usually take 3 softgels a day
Eskimo Fish Oil , all I need is one 5ml dose and I have extra high levels of EPA/DHA.....
Mite switch back to Udos this month...
Fish is is VASTLY superior to any of these blends. I stick with lemon flavored cod liver oil. I can't imagine putting up with 20+ extra caps a day and the stuff tastes just fine.
IMO oils are food and thus should be talked about in a diet section...

I am not trying to be argumentative here, but your using fish oils to supplement your diet...its not like you go and buy fish oil and cook your food up in it. I guess it can be either or...depending how you look at it.

I'm using red meat to supplement by diet by that logic too. When does a food stop being a food and become a supplement? I can see calling an amino acid a supplement as even though it has calories, the reason for taking it isn't just calories in the body, but the effect the amino/aminos have on certain bio chemical functions in the body. I can see things like sesamin which is an extract from an oil and is used primarily for weight loss (does have other benifits) as a supplement. But things like whey or fish oil are essentially foods. I take whey to get more protein and to get protein into my body faster (PWO period). I take fish oil because it has certain types of fatty acids my body demands and to add calories to my meals from a healthy source. And if whey and fish oil are both supplements what would you call 2 scoops of whey and a table spoon of fish oil? I consider it one of my meals everyday...wouldn't you?

Hi...
I don't consider 2 scoops of whey and a tbs of fish oil a meal..I use it as a means of supplementation in my already well-balanced diet.
It's all good...just what you may consider being a meal is not a meal to me. It's subjective and I respect your thoughts on the subject...very enlightening at that.
Thanks

Nearly 500 calories isn't a meal? So if my meal plan while cutting was something like.
1. 8 eggs, liver tabs, mass tabs, veggies
2. 2 scoops whey, 1 table spoon olive oil
3. 2 scoops whey, 1 scoop protein blend 2 table spoons of olive oil
4. 1 pound of red meat veggies
5. 2 scoops whey+ fish oil
6. 3 scoops milk isolate + 2 table spoons olive oil
I had only 2 meals all day? And I supplemented the vast majority of my calories? This wouldn't be a normal day, but I"ve done diets like this for long periods of time while cutting and the results were great.

Hey...don't try and change your story...lol...you said 2 scoops of protein and some fish oil!

Yes sir!!
Personally, whey powder's a supp in my book. Now obviously this is pretty much opinion so I can't say you're wrong, and hell I see it from both sides, if someone asks me what supplements I take I probably won't even mention my protein just cause I think it's something so basic it's not really a supp, but technically I would define it as one.
Those are meals, but they're liquid meals, I think if someone were to actually follow that schedule for a day, I would say they are relying too much on supps rather than wholesome food. Gotta get some real substance in if ya know what I mean. IMO
Yes sir!!
Uh oh, ya might get a butt kicking for that one...

Here's what I consume:
1. Flax Seed Oil 2000 mg/day (1g AM/1g PM)
2. An Omega complex 2/day (1 AM/1 PM) each containing:
- LA (Linoleic Acid)(omega-6)................... 463 mg
- ALA (alpha-Linoleic Acid)(omega-3)......... 378 mg
- Oleic Acid (omega-9)............................ 455 mg
- EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid) (omega-3)... 180 mg
- GLA (gamma Linolenic Acid)(omega-6)...... 180 mg
- DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid)(omega-3).... 120 mg
- lipase............................................ ..... 1200 units
In addition to that I was doing some reading today about an omega-6 EFA called arachidonic acid that is touted to have ergogenic properties. You can read about the pharmacology here: http://www.acnp.org/G4/GN401000059/CH059.html

I think it's the way the thread starter phrased the thread.
Technically, the thread could fit into both categories, but based on the fact that people will list sg/caps as well as pure oils... this thread fits best in Supps 101.

You and your damn secrets! That's the second time in a couple days I've gotten a "mysterious" answer instead of a straight response, I'll take it for now, but I wanna be the first to know when solid info comes out on these things! haha

Olive oil now makes it food :)

hehe, liver tabs are food too, and they're pills :)
As for the person saying that the diet I listed doesn't work. Though it's clearly created for someone doing some sort of timed/cycled carb intake. It works very well for what it is and though clearly you'd rather eat more meat it works very well for someone with little time for cooking.
Whey is just a product of milk which most people consider a "real" food sourse. ANd milk is liquid :)
If you consume something to meet your daily macro nutrient goals, it's a food. If you consume it for other reasons, it's a supplement. Anyway I'm done, no need to drag out this any further.

Dude,
If your referring to me, I never freakin' said your diet was shit. I even sent you a dam pm to make sure we were cool and that I was not trying to start an argument over this topic and your still going on so now your buggin' me. I am ending this here and now..if you keep going, you will be talking to yourself.
Peace
Toni
Chill peeps, Toni he was probably talking to me cause I said I didn't like relying so much on shakes in a diet, but like I said that's IMO and this whole thing really isn't a big deal. I'm done too, peace.

There are some rumors swirling around, for sure bro... But, rest assured, any news will be posted here first.
In fact, I'm guessing that when there are new Animal products, you members here in this Forum will be given the opportunity to "Alpha Test" them. Later.
