It's all good on my end.
Good pics. It was a good day all around. My legs are damn sore. That vertical leg press is a bad ass machine. I'm gonna have to get up to Golds more often to take advantage of that and the plethora of other great equipment they have. Like Vinny said, this place has stuff you've never seen anywhere else.
After the session and eating with some of the guys, I went up to the Casino to see a Strongman Grand Prix. It was sick. My man from CT, Derek Poundstone, beat the man, Marius Pudzianowski to win the contest. The place went nuts. I know you all know what Marius looks like, but Poundstone is just about as big and ripped. No joke the kid, 26, 6'1" 305 lbs. is a freak for sure.
I love strongman. I watch it on tv whenver its on. I miss the strongwoman events they had on tv. I remember years ago the chick that won it was serious business..I mean she was built dam well and dam strong. That was a great show!

ya i went to the strongman too it was sick. i waited after to get pics with derek and all the other huys there. hes fucking huge!!! IMO he was in better shape then marius huge and still carried a 6 pack awesome. lata fellas

No joke right. The guy is a serious specimen. Who has abs at 305lbs.? lol
I wanted to go and shake his hand and congratulate him, my buddy I was with was in the Police Academy with him. We went through some unauthorized door and got kicked out of the arena, so we didn't get too. I had to calm down my friend, and I'm glad I made him leave his gun in the truck. lol

I was at the Strongman comp too... Poundstone really brought his A game in front of that crowd. I've see the guy train before in Waterbury, a buddy I used to train with goes to his gym and I've been there a handful of times. The guy is an absolute beast it's unreal. We'll definitely be seeing a lot more of him in the future
