Price Jump??

I've been looking over the sites and have realized that basically every Universal product has jumped a few dollars or more, is this due to gas prices rising? Or is there something else behind the price raise?

I believe at one point U-Rep said prices would go up a few dollars... but I can't seem to put my finger on the thread. Whey prices went up all across the boards for every supp company pretty much back around October I believe.

Mainly it's gas, but there's also the fact that companies need to compensate their employee's. I don't know about you... but I like it when my company gives me a raise. They've gotta make up that money in some form or manner less they lose their long standing employees.

If I gotta give a dollar or two more for each can of Pak so UN can keep their hard workin people around and keep pumpin out new great stuff like Torrent and Test, I've no problem.

Well put, The money has to come from somewhere and it is reflected at the consumer end... the mere fact is... Universal's Supps work... and a dollar here or a dollar there will not affect my judgement in buying their product.

I haven't noticed anything from Universal going up in price other then Whey Products, which if I am not mistaken all companies are raising the price on due to several factors.

I heard that whey went up because Asia has been buying much of it to offset the loss of their livestock from the avian flu.

it might have to do with the price of corn, because i know the price of corn made the price of milk go up i think. So it could be one giant domino effect.

I think alot of the online supp store have sent out an update of this a few months ago.....except the one I use didnt...rat bastards LOL

I dont mind the price jump, its only a couple of bucks. I was just curious. I was hoping it wasnt just because of the raise in gas price. UN has been doing a damn good job, they deserve the extra. Plus, they're still much cheaper than other companies.
