You know that feeling, brothers: walking back from the gym either to your car or your house..feeling that pumped muscle living and breathing under your hoodie...shit, there ain't no better feeling than that. Like the Oak said, "I am coming day and night."

Walking back...hobbling, actually, from the gym tonight, downing my Nitro G, I thought about the knee injury I had my senior year of high school and how my wheels are lagging because of it. I think about all the work I've got to put in to get somewhere where I can look at myself and say "I did my fucking best." And then I think about the great start to the week I just put in...

Squats, 5 sets
Dumbbell lunges, 4 sets
Leg Press, 3 sets
Stiff-Legged Deads, 4 sets
Lying Leg Curls, 3 sets
*supersetted w/
Leg Extensions, 3 sets
Seated Leg Curls, 3 sets
*supersetted w/
Seated Calf raises, 3 sets

Then it hit me like a kick in the nuts. Nobody else cares. Who gives a fuck that your quads are so pumped that you can't hardly fit your sweatpants over them? My calves are still shaking. That's why I'm posting here, brothers, you know what I'm talking about. This is my Journey...remember it well...I'm here to stay.

Good work brother, keep hitting those legs hard. I love legs and can see mad results as I continue to train them. My partner on the other hand struggles with his legs. For him this gets depressing and he just ups his training. Keep killing those legs and one day they will begin to explode.

Hey bro, where can I find that? My hammies are where I'm behind.

The best thing about my hammies though is that they're what kept me away from the fucking knife. Working out real hard for baseball, training legs (especially hams) gave me enough stability that when I tore my ACL and miniscus, I just needed some rehab but no surgery. I owe a lot to my hams. So it's time to get some big fucking wheels.

Thanks bros, for all the posts. This is fantastic and making me wish I could go back to the gym right fucking now!

Try going to the home page of the forum and searching under the training section. It was originally posted by machine. Good shit.

Just make sure to go heavy on stiff leg dead lifts, throw down on some leg curls, and also step backs (which is like a reverse lunge) which I like to do with a loaded barbell. Peace bro.

Hard as rocks. My shoulders are pumped and my ears are ringing. They're so red that the star tattoo on my shoulder looks like a fucking constellation. People give me a lot of looks when they see my tattoo. It's a five pointed star...for the five most important things in my life. Love, at the top. Honor, self-confidence, dedication, and family round out the rest of the points. It's a reminder everyday, a fucking siren in the mirror of what I am and who I need to be.

Shoulders today went a little like this...

Behind the head presses, 5 sets
Seated Lateral Raises, 4 sets
Rear delt raises (leaning on an incline bench), 4 sets
Single-Arm Rear delt raises, 3 sets
*supersetted w/
Upright rows, 3 sets
Dumbbell shrugs, 5 sets

Reverse calf raises (special thanks to The House!!), 3 sets
*supersetted w/
Reverse crunches, 3 sets

30 minutes walking on the treadmill, headphones blaring

Brothers, I've had a revelation when I was walking down the hall to have my shower. I am an artist. My medium is myself. But I am not one to want to show off my work in progress. I want to hide away until I can come out of the shadows and create my own big fucking shadow. Anybody else feel this way? It's almost LAVA time, so I better get a move on. I've got a lot of building left to do.

Back day. The make-or-break day for my entire week. And the best fucking workout I've had in a while. I really feel like my back is my best developed area. I was blessed with a V-shape from the days when I was even a skinny ass twig, kids used to look at me and tell me I had wings. It wasn't until I started hitting the iron that I realized they were right. I have wings to fly away from mediocrity and bullshit. So I really don't mind developing them...

Deadlifts, 5 sets
Wide Grip Pullups, 4 sets
Close Grip Pulldowns, 4 sets
Dumbbell Pullovers, 4 sets
Reverse-Grip Bent-Over Rows, 4 sets
Makeshift T-Bar Rows, 4 sets
Dumbbell Rows, 2 sets
Reverse Crunches, 2 sets
*supersetted with
Elevated Crunches, 2 sets
2 miles on the treadmill
Seated Calf Raises, 1 set to absolute failure

I haven't felt this good in a while. Downing my Nitro pills, I feel like I can literally feel myself growing...

And speaking of that, I developed a couple months back, the idea to use to mirror to mark my progress, not the scale. So I do a pose-down after every workout, and I look for improvements. Today, I had this crazy idea to hop on and see where I was and voila, 6 pounds heavier than the 1/1/07. It's time, brothers. I'm taking this thing to a whole new level. And I hope you're all coming along for the ride, brothers, cause I ain't gonna disappoint.

Brothers, I apologize for any mispellings that are bound to happen in this post...I can't feel my fucking arms. It's amazing. This one helluva pump. My forearms look bigger than my fucking neck, breathing, veins like fucking pipelines. In case I forgot why I got into this game, now I remember. This feeling is priceless, unspeakably amazing...you know what I'm talking about...

Standing EZ bar curls, 5 sets
Alternating dumbbell curls, 4 sets
Reverse Grip Barbell curls, 3 sets
Hammer Curls (cross body), 4 sets
*supersetted w/
Low Pulley Rope Pulls, 4 sets

Straight Bar Pushdowns, 3 sets
Close Grip Bench Press, 3 sets
*triple set w/
Skullcrushers, 3 sets
*and
Overhead dumbbell raises, 3 sets

Wrist Curls, 2 sets (to failure)
*supersetted with
Reverse Wrist Curls, 2 sets (to failure)

Brothers, I've only got one thing to say...do hammers across your body. I could literally see my muscle streching and the skin having a hard time staying on top. If there's one exercise I swear by, it'd have to be those. There's nothing better than this feeling...I love this game...and it's only just begun.

"Holy shit, Gam, you got bigger tits than I do!" My girlfriend said to me, when she walked in my room a couple minutes ago. I don't say a word, I just look at her. I don't talk for about an hour or so after my lifting. It's just too much, I dwell. I write on this board, sure, but I don't say a fucking word. My girl and my roomie know that if I'm dead silent with no expression, I'm fucking growing. They get freaked out, yeah, but it's fucking worth it.

Hit chest today. I started putting in last in my split after reading the little write-up in the Chest DVD that went something like, "...a reward for training the rest of my physique balls out..." Fuck yeah, brothers, fuck yeah. You know that feeling.

Incline Bench Press, 5 sets - 15-6
Barbell Bench Press, 4 sets - 12-6
Incline Flies, 3 sets - 10-6
Flat-Bench Flies, 3 sets - 10-6
Cable Crossovers, 2 sets - 12-8
Dips, 2 sets - 15, 15

I ain't been in this game for long, brothers, but one of the things I'm thankful for is finding this website early on in my journey. It kept me smart, prioritizing my upper chest from pretty much the very beginning, not falling into the ego-trap that a lot of guys fall into early on. I'm not saying anything bad about the flat bench, I've just seen a lot of close friends get sucked into that trap and that's their only lift for chest day. Time to hit the shower, LAVA, and get ready for a couple days off. Peace, brothers.

The temperature outside is in the negatives, but my legs are boiling over. Great workout. I couldn't find a rhythm in the beginning, but I definitely fucking found a great one...best fucking feeling in the world.

Squats, 5 sets
Front Squats, 3 sets
Barbell Lunges, 4 sets - 12 steps(6 long steps, 6 short steps)
Leg Extentions, 4 sets

Lying Leg Curls, 4 sets
Stiff-Legged Deadlifts, 4 sets
Seated Leg Curls, 4 sets

Seated Calf Raises, 5 sets

I'm gonna seperate different calf exercises into each workout this week so I can blast them with extreme intensity. I'll let you know how it goes.

Shoulders. I will find the fucking cannonballs I was destined to have when I was brought into this world, but I know it's gonna take a shitload of iron...and I'm definitely okay with that.

Shoulders and calves are the most stubborn muscles I have. And guess what today was, brothers? You got it. Shit, I look forward to this day more than any because I know it's where I'm gonna see the most improvements...

Standing Military Press, 5 sets
Arnold Press, 3 sets

Dumbbell Lateral Raises, 4 sets
Rear-Delt Raise (leaning against a bench), 3 sets
Single Arm Rear Raise, 3 sets

Barbell Shrugs, 3 sets
*superset w/
Dumbbell Shrugs, 3 sets

Standing Calf Raises (10 seconds on the very bottom, 5 seconds at top), 3 sets
*superset w/
Standing Pigeon Calf Raise (Toes inward), 3 sets

Brothers, I couldn't put the shit down. I was just fucking on today. Doing shrugs I thought I was gonna rip my shirt. It was just there...setting records in all my lifts...then I remember Wrath's wise words, "This is important... Do not forget. Do not drown in the music. Listen to your voice... It's saying something."

Dumbbell Pullovers, 3 sets

Reverse-Grip Bent-Over Rows, 5 sets
[Makeshift] T-Bar Rows, 4 sets
Seated Close Grip Cable Rows, 3 sets

Deadlifts, 3 sets

Reverse Calf Raises, 4 sets

Reverse Crunches, 3 sets
*superset w/
[Feet-on-a-bench] Crunches, 3 sets
Hanging Leg Raises, 2 sets

Brothers...this game is difficult to stay it. One day, it'll just happen. Something in your head will snap and you'll step up and your Animal instinct will kick in and your game will take a leap into the unknown...What am I going to look like at 175? What about 200? Where beyond that? How big [I]can[I] I get? Let's find out...

Thanks, brother. I'm enjoying life right now...symmetry is nice, but it won't last forever...just gotta remember that.

Guns. Best day of the week. The day to bust out my sleeveless and go to fucking work. I was still kinda sore after back yesterday, but that's the best feeling in the world...knowing how good of a workout yesterday's was...hopefully I'll be that sore tomorrow. And I got a feeling I will

Barbell Curls, 5 sets
EZ Close Grip Scott Curls, 4 sets
Standing Dumbbell curls, 3 sets

Reverse Grip Cable Curls, 3 sets
Hammer Curls (cross body), 3 sets

Triangle Bar Pushdowns, 3 sets
Reverse Grip Pushdowns, 3 sets
Bench Dips (with weight), 3 sets
Dumbbell Kickbacks, 3 sets
Overhead Plate Raises, 2 sets

Wrist Twists, 3 sets
*superset with
Plate Holds (for grip), 3 sets
Wrist Curls, 2 sets to failure
*superset with
Reverse Grip Wrist Curls, 2 sets to failure

There it is. A fucking arm-demolition. A shit-ton of sets for growth. I hit my biceps hard, then the brachialis with a passion, triceps become horseshoes, then my meathooks become solid. Brothers, we mortals are but shadows and dust...will you be remembered in eternity?

Brothers, my arms were shaking all day. I had a hard time writing in any of my classes and I got a pump just from lifting the fork to my mouth. As far as I'm concerned...ain't nothing wrong with that!

Tonight, I walked into the weight room and there wasn't a soul in sight. And that was perfectly okay with me. I was ready for a war. Chest day. Now it was on...hardcore.

Incline Bench Press, 5 sets (hit a PR tonight, too)
Flat Bench Dumbbell Press, 4 sets
Flat Bench Flies, 3 sets
Incline Flies, 3 sets
Dumbbell Pullovers, 4 sets
Cable Crossovers, 2 sets

Dumbbell Shrugs, 3 sets

My buddy today (who I'm bringing back into this game) commented on my traps. He knows me pretty good. And he knew that if I got some criticism, I'd run after it. I've neglected my traps for some time, and it actually is showing. But it won't be here soon. As I keep growing, it's time for all the symmetry to stay. As one house builds, so must every brick that was put into it. Help me to lay the mortar and stay true, brothers.

Back where I was meant to be. It was bugging me this weekend when I was just resting, growing, waiting to train. So I was ready to fucking annihilate the iron. And it was leg day. Fucking A right...

Leg Extensions for warm ups, 2 sets
Squats, 5 sets
Barbell Lunges, 3 sets
Leg Press, 3 sets
Leg Extensions, 3 sets

Lying Leg Curls, 3 sets
Stiff-Legged Deadlifts, 4 sets

Seated Calf Raises, 3 set

I brought a buddy along, cause he wants to get back into it. So I kept it short and sweet. He kept up pretty good, until the end. He looked up at me after the last set of calf raises and told me he hated me. I told him good, then it was a good workout.

Shoulder day. I hate shoulder day. My shoulders decide to be the most stubborn muscles on my body. But that's okay, everyone loves a challenge. We've got to fight for every inch, brothers, that's what this game is all about. Who would still be doing this if it was easy?

Behind the Neck Military Press, 5 sets
Arnold Press, 3 sets
Standing Lateral Raises, 4 sets
Front Dumbbell Raises, 3 sets
*superset with
Bent-Over Rear Raises, 3 sets
Reverse Pec Deck, 3 sets

Barbell Shrugs, 4 sets
Dumbbell Shrugs, 3 sets

Calorie intake is up and I'm feeling good. I'm feeling bad. I'm feeling like a bad man. I'm pumped and I'm on fire. I know I was born for this. A man is only as strong as his weakest link...and that weakest link is going to be unbreakable by the time I'm fucking done...rip and tear.

I love back day. Let me say that again, for I believe it bears repeating...I love back day. Sure, it's tough. Sure, I puke. Sure, I get a pump from just racking and reracking all my weights...but it's all fucking worth it. I want to be the shadow-caster on that stage (whether or not I ever compete is beside the point.)

Wide Grip Pullups, 4 sets - 10-6 reps
Narrow Grip Pulldowns, 4 sets - 12-6 reps
Dumbbell Pullovers, 3 sets - 10-8 reps
Bent-Over Rows, 4 sets - 12-6 reps
T-Bar Rows, 3 sets - 12-8 reps
Machine Rows, 3 sets - 15-12 reps
Dumbbell Rows, 2 sets - 12 reps
Deadlifts, 4 sets - 10-3 reps
Behind-the-Back Shrugs, 2 sets - 15 reps
EZ Curl Bar Narrow Grip Shrugs, 2 sets - 15 reps

To most people it looks like I overtrain. To a lot of people, they don't understand why I do this to myself. But that's why I love this forvm, brothers, you understand. I can truly read any of the posts on this forvm and know that there are others out there just like me. Sure, I'm the only Animal in my sleepy little college, but I know that there are others...ones that I'm proud to call my brothers. Stand with me, brothers. Stand Proud.

PS. I'm really excited about testing Project M for Animal. I got selected to bei in the Animal Testing Program. When I start a log there, I'll post a link here!

I kept looking towards the next meal, the pre-workout meal...it was a great day...both in and out of the weight room.

Guns.

Narrow EZ Bar Curls, 4 sets - 10-6 reps
Alternating Dumbbell Curls, 3 sets - 10-6 reps
Barbell Curls (never put them here before), 3 sets - 10-6 reps

Hammer Curls (cross body), 3 sets 10-12 reps
Barbell Reverse Curls (hook grip), 3 sets 10-6 reps

Close Grip Bench Press (hook grip), 4 sets - 12-8 reps
Skullcrushers, 3 sets - 10-6 reps
Triangle Bar Pushdowns, 3 sets - 12-8 reps
Overhead Dumbbell Raises, 3 sets - 10 reps

Reverse Wrist Curls, 3 sets - 10, 10, 12 reps
*superset with
Wrist Curls, 3 sets - 10, 10, 15 reps

Brothers, there it is. The reason I won't be able to scratch my head for the next couple days. I hit the biceps hard, really focusing on my brachialis, smothered the triceps, and assaulted the forearms; and I fucking love it. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Here's the link to my ATP journal brothers, I'll keep both updated.

There was a lot of other shit going on in my day and it just keeps piling up, but I had a great fucking workout. I hit a couple PRs on my lifts and I'm jacked up, pumped, and ready to go. I bombarded chest today, the pinnacle of my workout week. It went a little somethin' like this...

Incline Barbell Press, 5 sets - 10-6 reps
Flat Bench Barbell Press, 3 sets - 10-6 reps
Flat Bench Flies, 4 sets - 12-8 reps
Pec Deck, 2 sets - 12 reps
Cable Crossovers, 3 sets - 10 reps

Reverse Pec Deck (for rear delts), 3 sets - 10 reps

I threw in some rear delt lifts just because I need to fucking build them up. This 2/3 of a shoulder is fucking with my head. I'm gonna start attacking them twice a split...cardio and abs tomorrow...I'll keep you posted. Peace, brothers, let me leave you with words from G Diesel..."People underestimate us, they doubt us, they write us off and we say thank you, that's the inspiration I needed. Everyday is a good day, so never fucking surrender."
