Today i started my 8 week animal stak cycle. My goal is to gain 15lbs. Calculated my calories... i'll be eating 3562cals/day with 103.5g fat (14%), 275g protein (36%), and 377g carbs (50%). I will see how i do for the week, and check the diet to see if i need more calories. More then likely i'll add 400-500 more cals if i don't gain 2lbs this week.

2/25: shoulda done legs, but with my mis-management of time and the fact that i woke up late, i wasn't able to hit the gym. I'll use it as my day off, and just bust my ass harder.

2/26 - Legs
Front Squats - 185x7 (upper back didnt feel right while holding the weight, so i switched to reg squats)
Squats - 225x8, 275x6 (coulda done 8, but i wanted to hit leg press hard)
Leg Press - 4p x 8, 5p x 8, 3p x 20 (4p = 4 pies a side... you probably figured that :P)
Calf Raises - 195x8, 285x8
Leg Extentions - 255x8, 285(rack)x8, 285x8
Lying Ham Curls - 150x6, 150x6 (PR)

Great leg day apart from the fact i couldn't finish my front squats, but i tried hard on reg squats, going slightly below parallel. After the set of 20 leg presses, i felt light headed and was going to puke... pulled myself together and decided to throw in calves to keep my breakfast down and slow it up a bit. I've never done 150 in ham curls til last week, when i did it 3x after 2 sets at 135... felt great pushing up the weight. I wasnt able to do my 3rd set due to my mis-management of time, i had to eat before work.
I noticed that the torrent tastes like a cherry tootsie roll pop... not bad. But it just doesnt smell nice haha, but that shit is for the birds.
Tuesdays are hard for me to keep to my diet, since my rents dont let me eat meat today. So i've replaced my 6 whole eggs with a can of baked beans. I probably add a protein shake before bed, but i just dont know what i can eat to replace 16oz steak... damn. I might use tonight's dinner as my cheat meal and just get a bean burrito or something.
My quads are cramping when i walk... which means today's lift was a fucking good one and i also need to eat a banana.
Tomorrow will be bi/tri workout.

Holy shit, today felt fucking amazing. I had so much energy and drive, it was awesome. I talked to my mum right before i went to the gym... i told her its my favorite time of the day, gym time. She asked why... i told her, theres something about lifting bone breaking weight, weight that could injure me, that makes me feel alive. This is my personal satisfaction and salvation. By no means am i huge guy that moves mountains, but i got the soul of a gladiator and the heart of a lion. I WILL NOT FAIL. i told myself before every last set of each exercise, i want my fucking respect.
I walked into the gym, with my black animal beanie, my black hoodie with the hood up, my dark grey sweats... just staring at the ground infront of me with anger running through my veins. so focused, so determined... with my leg workout yesterday, and today's... i feel fucking amazing, i cant wait to crush my back and shoulder workouts on friday and sat.
I went home and looked in the mirror with my shirt off to see my pump (no, im not self absorbed, i jsut wanted to see progress) and for about 30 seconds, i was happy. Then i snapped out of it and realized i got a whole lot more work to do. The moment i am happy with my body, i know i will lose my drive and determination. Its not the end result that makes me smile, its the fucking journey that makes me happy. PEACE

Overall good workout, felt strong today, gonna up the weight next week on upright rows and shrugs. I need to work on my rear delts tho. Biceps are quite sore from yesterday, probably going to take tomorrow off and hit back on saturday to get some more recovery for em. So far, first week of stak is working well, i have no complaints.
Haha, my father told me the other day... if i spent as much time as i do counting calories and planning workouts on my school work, i'd get better grades. Hes probably right, but we'll see.
Weekend is comming, and i gotta dicipline myself to not drink while all my friends are... i'll just pull the DD card and some other BS... haha.

thanks everyone, i appriciate the looks and complements... I've used m-stak a few times, im actually ended a cycle about 2-3 weeks ago. I would love to use test, but i'll wait on that for a little bit when i can refine my diet and give the cycle 110%. I'm probably going to order a bunch of supps within the next week or 2.

That's a smart workout right there. Many people don't realize the benefits of doing supersets for two different muscle groups. It flushes the lactic acid back and forth to the muscle groups so the muscles are constantly fresh when it is there turn to go. Not bad numbers either. I also notice with the triceps you started with an isolation move and finished them with compound moves. Have you been reading my journey? haha. Good work.

thanks josh... i haven't seen your journey yet, but i will stop by. I guess i pre-exhaust my muscles before compounds... i would have done tricep pushdowns instead of CG, but i wanted to man up and test my limits. I get a far better pump with CG then pushdowns anyways. I also do my exercises based on location, so preachers and skulls are close to eachother, CG and BB curls, same... dip station is located right next to the 40lb DBs haha.

My diet/Supp schedual:
Meal 1: 1 cup oatmeal, 4 whole egg omlet with shredded cheese (Pak)
Pre: Creatine, Stak
Post: Torrent
Meal 2: 2 burritos, 2 pieces of chicken
Meal 3: Real Gains + 2cup milk
Meal 4: Unc Ben's rice, banana, apple
Meal 5: 4 whole eggs scrambled, banana
Meal 6: 16oz steak (Flex)
ZMA before bed

i think im gonna add a baked potato with meals 2 and 6 if my weight hasnt gone up by sunday.

But you did the skull crushers which is almost pure triceps, before doing the close grips, so that makes sense. That way you bring in the fresh chest and delts to assist the triceps. This is basically what I do. Pizzalamp sent me some great Mike Mentzer videos if you are interested in HIT style training I can send them to you.

2/29 - Off day, biceps were sore which woulda made a bad back workout

3/1 - Back

T-bar - 2q x8, 4q x8, 6q x6 (q = quarters, i get a better range of motion with quarters then pies)

Decent back workout, my grip was slipping on the 315 deadlift so i couldnt do 6... gotta get my grip strength up... no straps, no belt. For some reason i feel as if my back is not progressing as fast as the rest of my body... i felt like shit going into the gym (mental) and i couldnt psych myself up to go higher in deads. I think i need to switch up my routine a little bit and shock my system... if anyone can tell me some good replacement exercises, it would be much appriciated. Later brothers... gonna lounge around the rest of the day and stuff my fucking face (with clean cals :P). PEACE

oh ya, for a preworkout... shock therapy or storm? 1 of the 2 is gonna be my next creatine choice. I love that stimulant haha

If you feel like your back is not developing like the rest of your body, maybe you should consider using straps or anything else to ensure you are going to failure for lats, not forearms.

3/2 - Off day, woke up late and had to work... nice soreness in my back tho.

Decent workout, first time i've done BB bench since december... i coulda done some more reps, but i wanted to end on a good strong note. When doing flyes, i my left forearm would hurt when twisting the weight... I would go to my doctor, but shes a bitch and would tell me to stop using supps (we got into an arguement about creatine during my last physical about a month ago). I skipped my dips today, i'll def hit em hard on my bi/tri day tho, no doubt. I'll probably just use some icy hot and ice it for a bit... tomorrow is legs, so my forearms wont get much abuse.

I usually go to the gym in the morning, when its nice and quiet... but my boss has been sick so i had to open the store today and i'll have to do the same tomorrow. Going to the gym at 7:30pm fucking sucks... so many people, can never get an open bench or nothing. Oh well, the price we pay, aint no thang.

There are these wrist straps/supports that i've seen people use in the ABC events, especially G, does anyone know what they're called or where i can pick up some... left wrist needs some support. PEACE

Good leg workout, was hoping to do more reps in squat but my hips decided to start hurting. I was pissed, so i decided to kick my ass in leg press, going for 25 reps in the last set almost sent me outside to puke, not bad. I spent longer then i wanted to in the gym... about 85 minutes, when i was hoping to be in and out in under 60... need to be more efficient. My diet has been slacking recently... so much hw and covering other shifts in work has me fucking up. I need to get back on the grind asap.

I noticed that when i twist my wrist, i get some pain near my elbow... ligament i think. maybe tennis elbow? (or wtf its called) I hope not, i dont want any more set backs. Tomorrow is Bi/tri day... i know my left forearm is gonna act up, i'll see if i can tape my wrist so i dont get too much movement.. we will see. PEACE

Was getting late for class, so i didnt end with hammer curls.. wish i had, get a real good pump out of it. During preachers... my tendon/ligament in my left elbow was fucking killing me, i pushed through it, but damn! When i squeeze at the top of a bicep exercise is when the pain comes, but fuck that shit, i'll just be more careful and rest, ice, heat that shit. It started acting up during skulls, but was fine during CG and dips.. i think because of hand placement on the bar.
About to eat my chicken, so that'll be all for now. PEACE

so elbow was fine during all the exercises, but my left wrist started acting up during upright rows. I found a little wrist brace my mum used, so i hopped on that and it worked for awhile. It limited the range of motion, which kept the pain down... but just the movement from upright rows fucked that right up. I will probably lay off exercises that affect the wrist... take a day off tomorrow and hit up back on saturday morning before work. PEACE

Great workout today, cut short because of wrist acting up and i was getting late for work. What sucks was that my mp3 player died in the middle of my BB rows, so i took that shit off... put my animal beanie on low, and rock taht fucking weight. Deadlifts felt great, i was sweating my tits off and determined as hell. I wanted to get 385, but i didnt have a belt or straps, and i was tired. Next week tho, i'll go for 385, and I WILL NOT FAIL. Fuck yeah, im pumped while sitting in work. haha, take it easy brothers. PEACE

Short workout, but pumped because i've never done 235 more then 5x. Progress is comming, im not worried. I didnt do dips today because elbow was acting up after flyes... will hit them hard on bi/tri day. Incline bench felt good, never put up 85 or 90 before, but i was just riding the wave and pushed myself. "If you're not in 100%, get the fuck out now." today was 100%, and i fucking love it. Tomorrow is legs and im gonna crush em, gonna try leg press before squats and see how that works. I plan on going for my max bench and max squat on saturday during the ABC, it is also the last day of my first stak cycle.

So far, i've gained 4lbs.. and i feel as i've increased weight on all of my lifts. Im hoping to hit my goal of 205 by the end of my 2nd stak cycle... and its looking good so far.

Started: 188lbs.
Currently : 192lbs.

I was reading a post that Toni wrote about pre-exhausting as a change up, shes damn right. The pump was awesome, and i was tired as fuck. I decided to superset calves and abs because i've been neglecting my abs. This worked out well so i'll keep doing this so i can get some ab work instead of skipping it. Overall good workout, nice change up, hopefully i'll feel the change tomorrow. I got back tomorrow to end my 3 week stak cycle. I'll weigh myself sunday morning to see how much i've gained... im hoping to be 194, which would mean a 6lb increase. PEACE

Um yeah dude...you've tuned in to my journey. I swear by pre-exhausts. I do them a little differently though. I warm up with my compound move, and just before the last set I do a pre-exhaust set to failure, then go immediately into my final set with no rest. It's the only way to train for me bro.

Im definitely feeling the strength comming, last PR on incline was 205x4. I decided to throw in Bi's today since i only have 4 training days this week... going to canada on friday-monday for a wedding. I read Mazz's article "desire 2b thick" and tweaked my routine around that. 1 working set, between 6-12 reps, rep to failure + 1-2 forced reps.

Yesterday was st. patty's day... yippee! i had a drink last night for the first time in 3+ weeks, and it was good, but i couldnt finish my 2nd drink because i realized how much effort i put into my lifestyle now, and that i dont want to lose it all by going back to my old habits. So i gave my drinks away, left, got to bed by 11, and got a good 8+ hours of sleep. I don't mind having a drink (1) once in awhile, i just dont like to get drunk anymore. Its a pretty bold statement to make to your friends who drink almost any chance they can. I havent been to a bar in over a month, i miss having a good time and meeting new people... but i know i'll be too tempted to drink, and i dont want that. But it also sucks to stay in on a friday night when all ur freinds are out... i know yall know what its like. I just guess it sucks that i have no friends that accept my lifestyle choices and no friends that think like i do.... But like they say... if this shit was easy, everyone would be doing it. Haha, thats my little rant for today... PEACE

Decent leg day... On a good note, doing leg extentions before squats really warms up my knees and i felt no pain in them during squats like i usually do. On a bad note, my right fucking hip always starts hurting on my work set... fine for all my warmups, but shit on the work set... hence why i can never go past 6-7 reps on 275... fucking pisses me off. On top of that, i cant do leg press because of my hip.. fuck me. Im thinking about laying off squats for a month, and substituting in lunges... havent done those in quite awhile. Ive tried front squats as well, same thing happens on my work set. Maybe i dont have my form correct when i go into heavy weight... sucks tho, i've never been taught how to do exercises, i learned on my own from watching youtube and trial and error. I actually just started doing deadlifts correctly. Oh well, we live and learn. PEACE

Since switching to Mazz's "desire 2b thick" article/type of lifting... i've been knocking PR after PR. I feel twice as strong... since i started a month ago. I want to thank EVERYONE on this awesome forvm.... thanks to your knowledge on diets, routines, life, i've never been so focused and determined to shatter every possible doubt. I fucking love it... i think about the pain i put myself through and i love it... my sister said im obsessed and i have no neck... i smiled and said thank you. She calls me fat, i say im still bulking and smile. People think im on steriods and i smile and say thank you.
I'll be taking the next 3-4 days off from the gym, i'll be in canada for my cousin's wedding. I plan on binging these few days because i dont want to lose weight... so hard for me to gain haha. PEACE

Great workout today... i was nervous that i wouldnt be as strong today since i took a few days off for a wedding and slacked on my diet hardcore. I indulged on too many "special" sodas this weekend, so i must work twice as hard. I should be getting my Real gains/torrent/pak/flex/uni-liver tomorrow night in the mail... so i will start my 2nd stak cycle on thursday. I am going to up my calories to close to 4000 for this next cycle, i believe im 9lbs. off my goal. I'm hoping the animal omega comes out soon, i would like to order that with some pump/nitro/m-stak/cuts for my upcomming cut.

The closer I get to my goal of 205, the more i want to keep pushing and get more weight.

I think i want to change my routine to a 2 day on/1 day off cycle... so i'll hit a large muscle group at least twice a week.. something like:

Chest/Bi/abs
Legs/calves
Off
Shoulders/traps/Tri/abs
Back/calves
Off
Repeat

Today sucked. I started my 2nd stak cycle today. Starting at 194lbs. I ran outta my usual creatine/no/caffine product and tried a new one which i got as a sample from work... fucking sucked. Hips started to hurt again just on the work set of squats, but fine for the whole warmup. Maybe i should warmup my hips more before, we'll see. Tomorrow is shoulders and im gonna kick my ass.

Today was a great fucking workout... I did leg extentions to warm up my knees for deads... i used to have pain when doing squats/deads... but since ive been doing extentions, i've been painless. I wanted to do 390 in deads, just so i could say i deadlifted twice my body weight... but im happy nonetheless. I went back to my old creatine/no/caffine product, and i felt 10x better. This workout was what i needed to start off the week right. I might try 405 in deadlift next week if i get 395 easy... Thanks to this forvm i've become so much stronger and bigger (thanks to FOOD!). Tomorrow is chest and abs, i will not fail. PEACE

Pretty good leg workout... not so good pump tho. On the 5th rep in the ham curls, i tweaked my right hammy... couldnt push any more reps, pretty upset. Leg extentions were killer, felt great to do 20 reps with the whole rack. Leg press was a PR, never did 6 pies before, if my calculations are correct, and the sled weights 45lbs.. 585lbs is not bad, but still got work to do. I wanted to rep 225 to failure for squats, but my lower back was tight from deads on sunday and from leg press. Threw in some front squats for fun, but man was i fucking tired. Sipping on my torrent before i shower... mm mm tootsie roll pop. Body weight is staying around 195, i was sick the last few days. 30 days to get to 205... hard, but determined. Tomorrow will be a rest day, then i will hit shoulders/delts/tri's on thursday... PEACE

If my lower back is feeling fresh tomorrow, i'll be doing back... its still sore from leg press/squats/deads on sunday. Diet is going good, refining it to suite my needs everyday, added in some natty pb with the real gains, delicious. PEACE

Short but sweet back workout today... i was fucking exhausted while doing chins. While warming up for the deads, i just kept repeating to myself "405". But damn, 405 is fucking heavy. I barely got it up, but i got it up nonetheless. I droped down to 315 and was going to rep to failure, but after 5, my hamstring (which i tweaked on tuesday) started acting up, so i stopped there. Repped 185 to failure, the last 2 reps were sloppy, but i'll take em. Chins were brutal... just fucking brutal. I was sweating buckets, tired as fuck, but managed 5 clean reps. Tomorrow is my well deserved day off... i probably wont be able to move anyways haha. Sunday will be chest, gonna try to get at least 1-2 more reps up of 245.

So right before the gym, while chugging my pre-workout drink and cringing at the taste.. I thought to myself, and i know many of you guys have done the same, about why i do this. After 10sec of thought, it hit me like a ton of bricks... why? cause i dont want to be like everyone else... If this shit was easy, everyone would be doing it. I've dedicated too much of my time, money, pain, to give up now. Fuck the haters, fuck the nay sayers... I WILL PROVE EVERYONE WHO DOUBTED ME WRONG.

I wanted to do more ATG squats but i was fucking exhausted from leg press... but on a good note, neither one of my hips are sore, so hopefully im doing something right. Tomorrow will be shoulders/triceps... gonna try the 80lb dbs, should be fan-fucking-tastic...

Nice volume on the leg workout. Ham curls before leg press...finishing off with squats. Nice variation, good pre-exhaust cycles. All around good work. And nothing wrong with training at night. I do it every Monday since I have class and work. Don't you feel better lifting after 4,5,6 good meals? I feel like a tank most of the time.

Once again, another sucessful back workout... lifts keep going up, and i get more and more determined. I really need to invest in chalk, i could have done more then 8 at 315, but it kept slipping from my hand. I havent done DB rows in a long time, so it felt good to know i still got my touch. I just got back from the bookstore, bought the new flex mag, gonna hang up that poster tonight after work, and read the mag during work. Im gonna hit chest and tri's tomorrow... had a shitty tri workout earlier this week, and i need to hit my dips and flyes.

On a lighter note.. this girl in my class, whom i went to high school with... shes about 3 years younger then i. She complemented me on how big i've gotten, in high school i was that 130-140lb soccer/track star haha. I was kinda embarassed because there were a few kids around me that overheard. But i just smiled and said thank you. Shes cute too hahaha. Aiight, smile for a bit, enjoy yourself, then get back on the fucking grind.

So i figured out my long term goals, i dont care how long it takes.. but i will complete em.

I read somewhere, awhile ago... to determine if the front and rear shoulders are same in strength... bench your bodyweight and then do pullups with just BW.. i definatly cant do 18 pullups... maybe 10 at most. That means i got some fucking work to do. I will get mine, no worries. Tomorrow is legs, they will be dominated. PEACE

I feel real good, tomorrow will be my last day of the 2nd stak cycle. I'll post my reviews on saturday. I need to save some money, so i will be using just the foundational supps for the next few weeks... pak, flex, creatine, real gains, torrent. I want to pick up animal pump, but i'll wait until omega comes out and i need to make a bulk purchase.

so i sit here, sipping my pre w/o drink, finishing my last pack of stak. Today is back, today i will dominate my back, tomorrow i will feel the reprocussions. I will lift weight that can hurt me, can crush me, can break bones, rip muscles, snap tendons. I will not fear what i am about to do. I will dominate my surroundings, i will be come more powerful that anyone has imagined. I will keep my mind clear, my head down, my thoughts positive. I will remember everyone who doubted me, who hated on me, who picked on me, who wouldnt give me the time of day... I will pay them back by becomming stronger then they could possibly imagine, in physical, mental, spiritual, emotional states. I will lend a hand to anyone who seeks help, i will be the mentor to anyone that i wish i had. I will complete what i have set out to do, i will be complete when i die. I am content. Today was my last day of the 8 week stak cycle (actually 7th, i got my 1 week off left). I will review my total progress tomorrow after my 2nd to last weigh in... i will continue this long for 1 more week to see how my strength has stayed the same/fluxuated from the week off. All my supps will stay the same minus stak.

As for today's lift, i am pleased with my progress in all lifts. BB rows felt heavy today, heavier than normal. I would say that since i forgot to take animal pak for breakfast, might have been a factor. I am sipping my torrent as i type this. Deadlifts felt great, even the burn marks on my wrists from the straps, and the bruises all over my left shin make me feel alive and proud. The DB rows were harder then normal since i did them right after my 20 rep BB row.. but i wont complain. They took my makeshift t-bar away, i was slightly mad... i hate the t-bar machine. well, im fucking beat... PEACE

so here we go....

at the end of my 7th week (just finished the 2nd stak cycle) i weighed in at 197.5. I started 7 weeks ago at 188... puting me at a 9.5lb gain. Granted not all of that is muscle, but my strength has increased as well. I will weigh myself again this upcomming friday as i will consider taht the end of my 8th week and have my full thoughts. The first cycle i went from 188 to 196, then 2nd cycle 194.5 to 197.5. I will blame the fact that i didnt gain as much weight the 2nd time around due to me cutting out oatmeal and eggs, and not fully commiting to my diet like i did the first time around.

Threw in 2 supersets due to lack of time, and damn my forearms were so tired after the first one. Tomorrow i am going to try Enforcer's crazy leg workout... i hope i puke for the first time, that would be awesome. I am going to start throwing in some cardio on my off days, just to build up my endurance because i play alot of sports in the summer and i dont want to get burned.

Great day, very pleased. Awesome pump in my shoulders and tri's... hopefully i get that good pain tomorrow. All numbers are about the same as the previous time. I might throw in some tri pushdowns next week instead of skulls, just to shock the system... i havent done those in maybe 3 months. I was too exhausted to do my rear shoulders.. so im going to do those first tomorrow and ham curls at the end, since i couldnt hit em up on tuesday. Going to try the hook grip on deads, see how that works... i tried to do it for shrugs, but it just felt too awkward.

On a lighter note, i ordered a yellow and red animal shirt along with the "4:27am...why am i here?" poster on monday, and i got em last night... fucking fast ass shipping, gotta love universal for being ballers. holy hell supersets fuck my ozone... i was dead going into my work set, but i pushed through the pain and actually grunted for the first time haha. I had no juice left for 405, i just couldnt get it up, i stopped after 2 attempts. BB rows were hard, lower back was shot, and i just wasnt feeling it... so i kicked my ass in the next few exercises. T-bar was missing for a few weeks, but today it was back, and took that to the house. I wanted to work the rows a bit more, isolated each one...make sure both are same strength. Ive never done lat pulldowns with an underhand grip, but it was a great finisher.

Today concludes my 8 week stak cycle. i weighed in this morning at 199... so close, but so far. Total weight gain over 8 weeks = 11lbs. Strength is up, almost every exercise went up in strength except squats, but that was due to my hips being fucked. If i stacked it with m-stack i woulda hit 205 probably... but im proud nonetheless.

Would i recommend this product?

fuck yeah. but make sure u got ur diet in check before u start... i spent over a month planning these cycle, seeing which foods worked and didnt, made my macros, and grinded.

My next log will be in september, when i try out animal test/stak/m-stack combo. Since i'll be working long hours this summer, i dont want to spend money on a product that i wont give 110% to.

These products arent for weekend warriors, i paid my dues in blood and sweat. Gotta give 110% day in and day out or you'll waste your money... NOTHING BEATS HARD WORK!

First time doing tri pushdown in a few months, felt a great burn on those. First time EVER doing rear pec deck... felt pretty good, i like it. Tomorrow will be back, gonna try some light deadlifts, just to test my lower back, been bothering me the past week.

OOOOOO feels good to do deads again... back was fine during the lifts, but before and after still hurt... oh well, maybe its just in my head. The straps i use are really cutting into my wrists leaving bruises and burns... fucking love it. Groin is getting better and better day by day.... i feel like i could do legs, but im not gonna push anything. I might be going to the cape this weekend to celebrate the end of the semester... if not, i'll probably hit chest on saturday. Everything is looking good. Grape EAA Nitro tastes just like grape juice... defuckinglicious. I got a lb left of cherry torrent, then im gonna slip into the green apple. Ordered pump, flex, shock therapy, natural sterol complex, and some more real gains yesterday from massnutrition. I should be good for the rest of the summer once i get these badboys.

Hmm... felt real good. Didn't have time to do leg press, and it was occupied as well. Minimal pain in the hips during squats, so thats a good sign. Feels good to ahve that weight on my back again. Overall, the legs are a little bit weeker from missing a week. I need to bring up the intensity during leg day, im fucking cheating myself.

something that kinda made me dissapointed today... while i was doing my warmups for squats, this kid in the rack next to me was doing 275. His form was not good at all, and he wasnt even getting near parallel. One of his friends was spotting him, and this kid did "4 reps", if u can call it that. That didnt bother me, but right after he was done, the two kids hi-fived like he just scored a touchdown or some shit. People need to drop their egos and do things correctly, they're just gonna end up hurting themselves. Oh well, its not my place to judge.

Tomorrow ill hit up shoulders and tris or bis and tris, whichever is more fresh. Peace

Great workout today, awesome pump in my shoulders and traps... Today is the first day using animal pump. Im used to the caffine rush from powered pre-w/o drinks, so this is a change. My stomach doesnt feel like shit, so thats a plus. All my lifts are right on par apart from the front and side raises.. i was just dead tired. Rear pec deck is fucking sweet, concentrate on the rear delts and squeeze those fuckers. Tomorrow will be back, with some dominating deadlifts, bb rows, t-bar, and pullups to kick my scrawny ass.

Next week i will be starting a new routine, with a little different stack, well yeah... I will be picking one of the routines on the animal website... im leaning towards routine #7.

also i have the same problem as u with the squats if i go more than 170 lbs my hips start to take over and fuck me so lately i have been putting 135 and repping the shit outta my legs.
another thing iam doing right now is doing walking lunges with 135 for like 4 sets and then hitting legpresses with 315.

ps: i know the weights sound light but iam a lightweight rower so my bodyweight is 150lbs

progress pics? nah i dont... i dont fuck with that shit. Maybe when i cut. I go by how my clothes fit, shirts get tighter, jeans get tighter as well.

I really just gauge myself by the weight im pushing, i try to keep my reps between 6-12, once i hit 10+, i'll up the weight.

In the eight weeks, all my lifts went up, except for squats and that was due to my hips. I also gained 11lbs, which is good.

Angry as fuck today... controlled aggression with the iron as my scapegoat. People think im fucking crazy, well... guess what? im a fucking animal. Throughout the whole workout, in my head i was telling myself "you're too small", and i kicked my own fucking ass. Yeah, on the last reps of dips and CG, i said out loud "light weight"... ya im that fucking kid who sweats like a fuck after a workout, leaving every bit of energy in that dungeon. Im that kid your parents warned you about.

What really pisses me off, not at them, but at myself... is these mother fuckers in the gym that lift for vanity sake, to bullshit and gawk at bitches, pushing less weight then i am, are fucking out growing me. I dont know if its just my perception, but beat the shit outta myself day in and day out, i eat like a fucking machine, i sleep well, i dont get shitfaced every night, and im the one whos fucking shrinking. My pops yells at me every night about buying supps and eating all this food... he has no idea how hard i work for what i got.. my sister is a fucking **** that has no idea about bodybuilding yet pushes her view onto my parents and i get the short end of the stick. That shit sucks, but it just makes me want this more and more.

No one said i would get this big, no one believed the dedication i have... no one cares, they never do. That i dont mind... but when people try to put their views in my lifestyle, i find myself defending what i do to everyone. People are trying to take away my happiness, my salvation, my sanity.

I've come to the realization, that if it wasnt for the iron... i'd be getting into alot of fights. I think i have an aggression problem, but i can control it into lifting so it doesnt affect other aspects of my life. I size up every person i walk by... cause i know (or think) they're doing the same to me. This is my rant, this is my fucked up mind writing to yall. I will change for the better, its just a long, hard, and painful journey. I will become everything i envision myself to be. I will not stop til i get there. PEACE

My diet has been terrible the past few weeks, but today i said fuck that, im going in the for the kill.

On a lighter note, i found a lady that is actually interested in all the bodybuilding aspects of my life, as in the constant lifting, eating, supplements. She actually makes sure i've eaten my daily amount of calories at the end of the night, thats sweet. Maybe i got a winner? we'll see. PEACE

so, this is sad for me to say... but i came down with a cold this morning/last night and i think its time for a week off. I've been putting it off as long as possible, and i think this is my body telling me to back the fuck off. Its not so much that i'll miss the pain, sweat, blood, and tears for a week... but the fact that lifting is my vice, where i get all my aggression out and am happy for the rest of the day. I hope i dont end up on edge all week long. ah well, later fellas

Terrible first workout after the week off... due to illness and lack of sticking to my diet, i dropped down from 208 to 200. I definatly feel the strength decrease, once my diet gets back in check, i should be back up to my solid numbers. I started shock therapy today because my pump ran out last week... just on day one, i like pump better. Shock therapy upsets my stomach... that may be due to external factors, we shall see.

Tomorrow will be shoulders/traps, hopefully i'll be able to db press the 80s for 8 reps, then i know im good. PEACE

decent leg day, gym was crowded tonight so i had to wait for my machines. I was sweating buckets, love it. Pure aggression today, i needed to clear my mind... so beating the shit outta my legs was good. The tendonitis in my left knee is acting up, it hasnt bothered me in the past few months, so imma have to work on this now.

On a lighter note, tomorrow i will be giving a speech on creatine... what it is, what it does on a cellular level as well as athletic level, dispelling myths, and then taking a Q&A. There are a few kids in my class that go to my gym, so hopefully it will benefit them. PEACE.

Woot... all done in under 45mins, awesome. I tried SLDL barefoot today (with socks) for the first time, i really like it. 225 is not nearly close to my max, but i didnt have much time, and my lower back was shot from getting hit twice this week already. Adapt or die... fuck yeah. Legs twice a week is looking sharp, gonna continue this for about 6 weeks and track the progress.

Today i start a small 6 week cut/diet. I am using a non-UN thermogenic and just waiting on stak to come in next week. Rest of the supps are gonna remain the same... im gonna stick with the same diet, just clean it up a bit, but calories will remain high (like a bulk) and im gonna incorperate cardio 3x a week to start, then 5x... we'll see how it works out.

I have tons of respect for everyone on this forum, who go through the grind in the gym and live their lives. People who have full times jobs, a family, and still compete in their 40s. Maybe one day i'll be able to grow some balls and compete.

I'll be ordering my test/stak/m-stak cycle next week when i get some money... gonna start that sept. 8 (hoping for no set backs). I cant wait, i feel weird tho, i really have high hopes for this stack, and i dont want to be disappointed. I gained 11lbs off 2 stak cycles, so im hoping for at least 15lbs. this round. No doubt i will have my diet and training in check. Gonna bump it up to at least 4500cals a day. I should actually start ramping up my cals now, so i dont shit everything i eat later. Ahh so much to plan and think about.

i dunno, recently i've been having a hard time feeling it in my back when i do pullups, but when i do chin ups, i really feel it in my lats. I'll have to keep grinding to find it.

Well... here we go, this is why shoulders are my favorite day... 1 more rep in DB press then last week, fucking awesome. Crazy shrug dropset, last rep was always a 5sec hold and squeeze... my forearms were so tired afterwards. The cable side raises were a new thing for me, Gunz recommended them on his journey, so i tried em out... the last rep on the last set was a grinder, fucking love that shit. Then i decided to switch it up and hit some high rep side and front raises, get that fucking extra burn. My shoulders are crazy pumped... and my forearm is starting to cramp haha. Tomorrow will be Legs/tri/calves and maybe abs if im not dead and soaked in sweat.

Ahhhhh, i fucking love lifting... i get such an adrenaline rush, i really cant comprehend why people dread going to the gym, its the highlight of my day (well cause i dont have a gf haha). oh well. PEACE

Hg - ya bro, i've been using flex religiously since february... love it, will always stay in my arsenal. I have tendonitis in both my knees, at the time i could barely squat, now im pain free and angry as hell haha.

Overall decent workout, still got a good chest/bi pump and my calves are twitching. I decided to do the high rep incline, just wanted to switch things up. Last rep was a semi grinder, i was tired as hell and thought i was gonna puke haha. If i had a spot, i coulda busted maybe 2 more reps, but i'll be complacent today. Biceps tho, them bitches kill me... i get a pump so easily on them, that its hard to do more then 2 exercises without my bi's trying to rip my skin. I will grind, no worries. I started collecting my fall stack... its fucking teasing me, i keep looking at the test and m-stak cans and they keep calling me a pussy.... damn.

None of you know me in person, but i am no different then you are. I want this more then anyone, and im willing to break myself down and rebuild day after day to get to where i want to be. But i need to push harder, train with more intensity, eat more, sleep more, research more, test my body more... damn, 23 years old and i got a long long long journey ahead of me.

I fear only one thing, myself. I fear that my motivation will leave me and i'll just be another person going through the motions and feeling nothing. I fight my demons day after day, they try to hold me down, break my spirit, make me choose a different path that will lead to doom. I wake up in the middle of the night sweating, shivering, paying for all the mistakes i've made, the mistakes that are trying to crawl back into my life. Today was a short but very effective workout. This drop set was very brutal and i loved every second of it. When i started the set, i was barely sweating (which isnt normal)... at the end of the set i was drenched, exhausted, sore, and cracked a smile for a sec. There is something about lying ham curls that i dont understand. When i warm up, light weight/high rep... i feel that stretch and pain that you get on your last set. I wonder if my hams are really tight and/or it was the effect of doing them last (i usually do them first, but i still feel that stretch then too)... odd to say the least. I stretch my legs almost every day, i can grab my toes and hold them for at least 40 sec. We will see... i'll stay on that grind. PEACE

I see you are going to run the "Test Explosion Stack" - rip it up man! I ran it once and am starting to rebuild my stash to run another one this winter. One tip, rest up extra good the week before you start it. Get extra sleep more than you usually do and go just a tad lighter on the last few workouts just before you start the stack. The reason is to have your body fully rested and recharged before you start the Test boosters. Doing this will help you get the max benefit out of the stack and then after a week or so of it you will be layin it down hard and heavy as your Test levels rise and you will for sure get rockin then. You don't have to do that it's just something I've put together from reading various articles about using any Test boosters. They all say to make sure your body is at optimal peak performance and well rested before you start them. It's what I'm going to do to.

Likin those drop sets bro, you'll be feelin those for days ;)

There is an article by mazz "desire 2b thick", i based my routine around that... 1 work set til failure and then 1-2 forced reps. The forced reps are hard without a spotter, so i'll usually do a drop set to make sure im dominating each muscle.

Like for lat pulldowns yesterday i did: 50x12, 100x8, 150x5, 180x3, 200x3, 210x9 (failure)

gymEvo - i've taken m-stak before maybe 6-7 times... works well for me. M-stak is my off-cycle (you could say) for the test explosion stak. Once done with m-stak, im going to assess myself and see if i need to do another stack before i cut.

Today was suppose to be legs/tri, but my legs were still sore from tuesday, so i decided to do tri/deadlifts

8/22 - Tri/Deads
CG Bench (drop) - 225x8, 135x10
Deadlifts - 315x3, 365x1, 385x1, 405x1 (belt/straps), 425x1 PR!!!! (belts/straps), 315x6
Tri Pushdown against pad (drop) - 110x8, 60x8

I have not done conventional deads for over a month, and it feels fucking great to know i still got that strength plus some. 425x1 is my new PR, it used to be 405... i think i coulda done more, but i wanted to stop on a good note. I think the best part about doing 425 is the notion that i lifted twice my body weight off the ground (weighed in at 206 this morn). Happy for a minute, then back on the grind. Never satisfied, always hungry.

But on a serious note, when i was leaving the gym today, i overheard 2 assholes mentioning something that may have been directed towards me. When i was racking 425 back up, i let the bar go maybe 4in before the rack, making a loud noise... oh well, taht shit is fucking heavy. Now i dont know if these guys were directing their comments towards me, but i heard them saying "he doesnt have to slam the weight down, when he does his reps he jerks it up, ya he can do alot of weight but hes not doing it right." Granted, it could be someone else, but at that point in time, i was the only one doing heavy ass weight. Usually i wouldnt be able to hear these guys, but it just so happened that my mp3 player was in mid song transition, so i could hear everything. The first thought in my head was, fuck them... they dont even know how to deadlift. 2nd thought was, people who talk shit behind other people's backs are fucking pathetic. Now, im not an asshole in the gym, i do my buisness, talk to no one, get in and get out. I just feel disrespect and anger, and i want to slam the weights even harder.

That was my little vent, i wont say anything to them... its not my style. I will just use those words and fuel to my fire and push myself even harder. I pay my dues everyday, respect me enough to keep my name outta your mouth. PEACE.

They dont know what its like because they dont have the balls to try it. I never want to be normal. Today was the first time in awhile i dominated my biceps... its the one muscle group i dread lifting because i cant do much weight. When everybody was doing the bench and curls, i was doing my legs and shoulders. No doubt, i got plenty of time to bring them up, which i shall... but sometimes that ego follows you into the weight room.

Today starts the 10 week test explosion stack... i asked a watchman to change the title, and here we go.

Goal weight in 10 weeks: 220

Why? because i can, because i want to, because all my life i've been called skinny and now i dont get called that. If im going to lift weights everyday to release my anger, i might as well get something out of it too, like getting fucking huge.

Throughout the whole time i was doing deadlifts, i just kept repeating 455, 455, 455.. over and over again. That was a grinder, that pull was probably the hardest thing i've ever done in the gym. I actually grunted too, im usually silent haha. My lower back is mad sore now, tomorrow is gonna be brutal. After deads i was taxed, no energy left... lower back hurt like whoa, i couldnt do bb rows, t-bar, or db rows. No energy left either. Im not gonna max out deads like this for awhile now, probably til the stack is over, to see if i gained anything.
My grip strength needs alot of work, i need to get chalk and deadlift like a man. Tomorrow will be legs/triceps... hopefully my lower back will be able to support some front squats, we'll see. Unfortunatly my shoulders arent sore from yesterday, i need to pick up the intensity... grip and rip.

I had one of those Icy hot pads i put on my lower back, to get some bloodflow and ROM there, worked decent. But once the adrenaline hit, i could feel no pain. Gonna rest this weekend, stretch, heat/ice, and eat like a bear. I need to work my core once my back heals, i think my abs are weak, which caused me to hurt my back... no biggie, i've been here before, i'll get better and crush more weight. I hope next week test/stak will hit me like a bus.

One of the worst workouts i've had in awhile. I gotta take it down as a loss, but keep trucking. My diet was terrible this weekend and i developed a stupid cough. Everytime i take a deep breath, i cough... not a regular cough, but a hoarse one. Weird, i know. Nope, i don't smoke. Lungs feel raw/swollen i think, we'll see. I'll just have to eat today til i cant eat anymore, and hit legs twice as hard tomorrow. I tried Intra-aid today for the first time, tastes like cotton candy... but i only mixed it with 12oz of water, i need to mix it with more.

I have goals i want to obtain, but i keep cheating myself with not putting in the effort i need to, to get there. I need to make sacrifice... going out on the weekends really fucks up my eating schedual.. thats no good. During the week i waste time, instead of eating, i am just lazy. I know what i need to improve, i just need to kick myself in the ass and do it. Something tells me that this is the last straw, that i will change today, not tomorrow, for the better. i would say my lower back is about 90%... good enough to deadlift and squat... but not good enough to max out.

I tend to sleep on my stomach at night, which makes my back sore in the morning. I tried to sleep on my back/side last night, which helped. But its still kinda awkward, gonna take some time to get used to.

i would say my lower back is about 90%... good enough to deadlift and squat... but not good enough to max out.

I used to do that when I was a teen. It started causing serious shoulder issues and several times I thought I was going to lose my arms from being completely dead for over an hour in the AM. Very scary. Actually terrifying and this is what made me ask my family doc about it.

The doc had me wear a skateboard knee pad around my stomach with the knee cup going over my navel. I had to use the velcro straps from both pads (to get around me and hold it on) but it worked and it worked well. There was no way in heaven or hell I could lay on my stomach with that thing on. So much so that even if I tried to roll over in my sleep it would make me wake up from discomfort. I eventually learned not to do it anymore. It's very bad for your body in so many ways.

Did I tell you about the reverse hyper-extensions? It's a tip from Tiny for low back pain. Reverse hypers with no added weight.

I mean, i can do body weight squats, atg, no problem, but when i put the bar on my shoulders, the pain rushes to my knee. Its like the top of the knee cap/the tendon that runs right behind/under it. I think its the quad tendon that attaches the quad to the patella. Fuck... oh well, i'll stay on the grind and get back at it. no doubt. Peace

So... i was gonna test the water, see how my left knee felt and see if i could do some light weight rehab exercises... i wasn't ready for what i felt. Barely any pain throughout leg extentions, no pain during leg press, so? time to fucking squat. Was i afraid? fuck yeah, but it didn't stop me. Slight pain on the first set, some more pain on the 2nd... 3rd set.... wtf? feels like nothing, work set... no pain til i struggled on the last 2 reps. ATG squats? huge stretch in the knees, felt so good. Could only do 5, i was taxed. Finished with some hamstrings... my lower back is made tight right now (thanks to deadlifts yesterday).

You know, im fucking happy right now.... cause now i might hit my goals within the next 4 weeks. Instead of doing legs twice a week, im gonna go back down to one, just to rest my knee. After i finish my torrent, im gonna ice. I haven't even gotten my liniment yet, once i do, it should make my leg workouts more intense.
