a cheat meal is just a cheat meal, it won't make much of a difference... now, about the 2nd question my advice is to be careful; after not having ingested carbs for months (or at least not on a regular basis) your body is not used to them; my advice is to take it slowly

also, expect to add a couple of pounds (which will be mostly water) after you add carbs again

Don't overthink this man, too many people here do that. Eat your cheat meal and increase your carbs gradually through the next couple weeks, just as you would on any transition from a cut to a bulk.

This is my game plan for when I'm done, keep this in mind...

Off season, I usually have 6 meals, 5 with carbs, one before bed is no carbs...

SO

I'm going to start with just 20 carbs a meal for 3 meals, and my PWO with torrent, so about 110 carbs a day... then assess after a week or two... then if I'm slowly gaining, increase it a tiny bit more, but not too much...

I want to get to the point where I'm putting on LEAN mass, minimal fat... I want to keep fat to a minimum this off season, but maximize gains... I don't plan on going over 12% any more... just not worth it...

Just so everyone can learn from my mistake.... DO NOT add in too many carbs per meal!!
Seriously, I added in about 40g of carbs for each meal (except for the last one) and it bloated the fuck out of me. It's been 1 week and I'm wondering if this bloating will ever subside.

it will man, it takes time for the body to readjust. It still doesnt know what is going on with your diet. Its prob. still running on the fat mode, so it just sucking up carbs like no-other.

I know that now.... wish I would have seen this earlier. I read something in Ox's thread where he was telling someone to just add their carbs back in, so I didn't think 40 grams was a big deal. But holy shit.... I look pregnant!!!!

I admit... actually I was thinking just a few weeks ago that I could easily get back with 200g of carbs, but probably I'll most likely keep'em at 150 or so... seeing that I couldn't even finish my cheat meal last night lol

the only thing is, you gotta find that amount, that is not too much to bloat the hell out of you, but enough to make your brain run on carbs... also, I think the cheat meals (during the keto) play an important role... for instance, I'm not doing any shows... and Ox's advice was to keep the cheat meals in as long as possible to remember your body how to digest carbs... so while I will keep my later cheat meals clean (oats, rice), maybe lower amounts, I won't take my cheat meal out of the diet till the last 10 days or so... if that makes sense
