Will someone please explain to me the differences between what proteins do what? I see whey, casein, egg, and so on. I really dont know the difference except I know that whey protein is good for quick absorption.

Whey and egg are quick digesting proteins. The best times for these are morning, pre and post-workout. Casein protein is slow digesting and is best in the evening or bedtime.

is water the best way to go w/ any protein, or milk?

i mean i'll switch on and off, but any real difference brothers?

Water always in postworkout shake. Unless you're watching carbs/calories, milk is great at all other times.

I h ave been taking ON's WHEY
and its really amazing. i agree mix with milk pre workout so it feels good during your workout
and you wont get hungry
and water post.
i read that casine(MILK) protein is good for pre workout only. or the most
i huge bad of ON's WHEY will cost you only like $55 for a 10lbs bag its like 160 serving man

Post workout you need fast digesting carbs so i take 2 scoops of ON vanilla with two cups of oj. at night ON casein with milk

Different proteins have different functional benefits, amino acid profiles, fractions, etc. Depending on your goals, if you wanted to be absolutely precise, you could manipulate your protein use. But in the big picture, it really won't make all that much of a difference.

I have ON whey protein, and you mix it with orange juice? I just do water after my workout, is it better to do it with OJ?

I believe so. Fast digesting carbs post workout replenish muscle glycogen stores and also help curb the release of cortisol, a catabolic hormone that impedes the anabolic processes of muscle growth.

oj, pineapple juice, apple juice, milk, gatorade....i say try anything, ill even ad fresh or frozen fruit

personal fav is apple juice, frozen peaches & rasperries, vanilla protien.

sweet i did good then, i had a ON whey shake then ate a pineapple fruit cup
