There are well known bodybuilders in the past that I haven`t heard about for a long time, being in the states and from all over the states some of you guys might know them personally.

Whatever happened to-

Tim Belknap?
Rory Leidelmeir (sp)?
Porter Cotrell?
Matt Mendenhall?
Benny Podda?

Some great names!

Belknap, was a diabetic bodybuilder, faded out...last show was 92--placed low...was very thick!

Rory, tried a comeback in the late 90's did not want to compete any more...saw in an old mag..he did over 100- sets of squats for a leg workou!

Porter..a fireman and I saw him win the NOC---Live..great guy, in 95 very sick...just wanted out, think when he saw his peer-buddy Momo Bennezia die of dehyration in his arms, he had enough...Porter was calld to perform CPR on Momo.

Mendanhall--the great new hope, had it all-good looks tons of muscles, cut-dry--just couldn't finish it out, was one of Weider's favs! Did construction with his brother in OH.

Podda=competed with my boys from my hood on the AAU level---Bruce Quinn, Joe Bucci and Greg Long, was a intense guy, also just faded out...hear he now lives in a cave outside of LA?

And some other favorites of mine...Charles Clairmont & Aaron Baker

Thanks mate.

Charles yeah great physique and one from this side of the pond, he was in my gym a few years ago with his own brand for sale.

Aaron Baker= Lat man.

Benny Podda was known as the best from the east wasn`t he?

Makes sense about Porter as I remember Momo dying, very sad day.
