View Full Version : Western VA ABC 4/4/08
Today's session was intense. It was our second session and this time around we hit it hard. Scals drove down from Blacksburg VA and took time out of his competition prep to train with us. We were honored to have 'em and wish him the best of luck for NY. We had 2 new members show up, and they will hopefully become active on the boards as well. One new guy was getting his leg crushing on... the other new one was getting his back destroyed with yours truly. Scals and Broc dominated their backs and we eventually all got up and finished off the workout in the whole other section of the gym. The grundy monster (AMA05) did his thing and showed us once again why we call him the monster. Great workout and great session.
Afterwards four of us (Me, Broc, Scals, and a new member Ted) all went down to the Chinese buffet and loaded up on lots of meat to replenish.
We had an audience almost the entire time while lifting. A group of young guys wouldn't stop following us and were amazed at what amounts of weight we were all lifting. The older Y members were just shocked and kind of displaced towards us for just taking over. We had a little sea of yellow going on that definitely was catching everyone's attention. The Y's front desk lady came and told us to quiet down and stop dropping weights. In our defense we were doing heavy ass rack pulls and couldn't exactly put them down quietly. We were just setting them on the damn bar and all the 45s would rattle a little. Fuckers.
Looking forward to the next meet and want to thank scals for coming down and thanks to everyone for coming out. We all motivated one another, had a great time, and seemed to push one another to our best. Good luck in your show scals. See you VA Animals very very soon. Pics below.

No doubt. Everyone was in the zone motivating the other. Some slaps in the face here, calling someone a bitch there and it was on like donkey kong. Lots of strong lifts. Gotta do it again soon.
