Wow...just home from the gym...
Weighed in at 164lbs today. Got a competition on the 26th. I also got my Rage-X shirt today. First shirt ive owned. Last year i borrowed a shirt, but this is my own. Took 3 guys to get it on, and it didnt get allll the way on. WTF. I hope it stretched a lil for next week or something, but i need some help on easier ways to get it on, all i think is baby powder?
anyways to the good stuff. Since the shirt didnt get all the way on, i couldnt get the bar all the way down. So we used a 2 board, and i hit 408lbs!!!! Fought the shirt on the way down, but threw it up like cake! Fuckin awesome! Just need to get this shirt on all the way so i can bring the bar to my chest!
HELP!!!!

I use the rage x myself. A technique for getting it on easier that might work for you is to start with it inside out. I don't think getting all the way down is an issue but maybe you need to explain this to me a little more. Usually if you push the chest of the shirt down further towards your belly button it will make it even harder to touch. This is where tucking the elbows hard and maybe even rolling up your head like doing a situp comes into play. What's important is to make sure the sleeves of the shirt are pulled up the arms tightly as possible and hopefully the shirt will be close to touching your armpits. The first time I used a single ply shirt it took about 70 pounds over my raw max to touch. Keep perfecting your technique (Belly Up, Elbow tuck) It might just take more weight. Next week try to add a little weight and go down to board one. It should be a little easier after a few times. It only takes me 45 pound over my raw max to touch now in a single ply. One thing that helps is to actually relax at the bottom if you are having a hard time touching. I don't mean relax your body, but relax your mind and have a little patience. Don't fight the bar, just let it happen. Sometimes it seems like eternity when you have heavy weight crushing your hands and body, but it is only a couple extra seconds.
I am sure Beast of Rage and Big Dawg will have some better advice so you might want to PM them as well.

Matt,
thanks for the input, i understand what your saying..my problem is i couldnt really get my arms alll the way in, and u know, if those arent fiting right, nothing else is...so thats my problem...just looking for more help, cuz i had 2 big dude, pushing the sleeves up my arms, with my back to the wall and my arms extended out towards them...ill try to inside out thing...that may work? i know i was a lil sweaty, so that may have played part in it as well

it isn't just about pushing the sleves up. you need to make sure the chest plate is lined up properly and from what you're saying it's a closed back shirt so you need to make sure you have it jacked up on your traps to get the neck down as low as possible.
heres a little video i came across you mite want to watch for better tips how to properly get your shirt on.

tek,
good fine on that video...but as u guess, i am using a closed back shirt...so that video prolly isnt all what i need...but i did like the swimming technique and rollin the sleeve up. But my arms were so much tighter than that dudes. Can i put baby powder on my arms to help getting the sleeves up?

try using plastic shopping bags of cut a pair of stockings or just get sleeve slippers.
I can fit into a 42 F6 closed back and i'm 5'11 and 215lbs. Where there is a will there is a way.
good luck bro

also the more you sweat in your shirt the easier it will get... also try having the guy put one arm against your back and putting the other inside the collar of the shirt and pulling as you move your arm in circles and then repeat...

Defiine,
What exactly do you mean by that? Im talking about the sweating. Can you elaborate?

sweating will sort of allow the shirt to loosen- maybe not the right word- up a lil yesterday i put my shirt on for the first time in almost 2 months and ive gained a good ten pounds since then. we got it on as far as it would go and just sat there- the gym was warm so we were sweatin quick and tried to re set it after my 1st set and it got to were i needed it- you can also mimic this by using a spray bottle w/ warm water
