So here's what going on;

I have been training in a size 48 titan fury for awhile now for I powerlifting competition I have in less than two weeks (april 26), I have had a 46 fury that I was going to use in the comp for an extra boost. The most I have gotten off my chest in the 48 is 445 and the lowest amount I have been able to touch in is 385. I used the 46 for the first time last week for board press and the only weight I tried to get to a two board was 475 and got that to touch easily and then got that up relatively easy.

Today I benched from the chest in the 46 and could not touch with 415 or 430. After loosening up my shirt a bit I was able to get 430 to touch and then I got 405 to touch with the shirt loose also. I tightened it back up and got 445 to touch but could not lock it out but I think that might be because my triceps were fatiqued from the previous sets. What my plans for the meet were to open with 190kg (418), then my second lift would be 200kg (440), and depending on how that lift went, my last attempt would be either 205kg or 210kg (451 or 462).

Not getting those weights down to my chest is causing me a lot of unwanted worries about the upcoming comp and am thinking about using the 48 since I am more aware of what I can do in that shirt. Or I can just loosen the 46 for my first two attempts. This is wear I need your help since this is my first comp and don't have any experience with it yet, what do you guys think I should do.

Also if any other powelifters want to drop some info on what you guys (or gals) do the week or weeks before to get ready for the meet, that would be appreciated. Thanks

Well, I've never done a powerlifting meet, I'm not that strong. However, I do have competition experience, so I can share some thoughts on that, and take what you will from it. So I believe if going into competition, always go with what you're comfortable with. Now this may not be advisable, I don't know I'm not a powerlifter but I'd say if you feel better in one shirt, use that. You wouldn't wanna get in something you weren't 100% familiar with and have a botched attempt. And the most important thing, MENTAL PREPARATION.
I don't care what you're competing in, your brain will always produce what your subconscious thinks about. Constantly remind yourself you are the best, you will smash the competition. Anytime a negative thought comes in your head, re-phrase it in a positive way. Believe in yourself, have faith in your ability, and you will do great.
