I'll keep it short: I LOVE the Nitro G. I am a huge believer in EAAs, and use it before, during, and post workout. The science is there for using both the carbs and the EAAs, and it is one of my major staples in my arsenal.

Wow...3 cases thats insane

I've used it before and loved it but it was just so damn expensive. Turned to EAA and regular nitro instead. Awaiting the release of EAA nitro to get back on the yummy grape stuff. I currently take EAA during my workout. Mix it up before and sip it through out. I take nitro also but don't like taking the pills while i'm lifting. I like to spread it out through out my workout and I can't do that with nitro. I already have plans of taking EAA nitro so winning this one would just save me huge amounts of money =)

Animal Nitro G is by far the best intraworkout drink I have had and i would use it intraworkout, it tastes great mixes well with any liquid plus the carbs in it help deliever the amino acids quciker. Nitro maybe more convient with the pack system, however Nitro G is more user friendly and has more kick to it, which in my opinon makes it better

I like everyone else who posts here am a huge believer in the essentials,my wife is a dietician and has always told me that if i am going to train the way i train than i need this stuff in my system, and nitro g may be the one product of universal that i have never tried. Lately i have been thinking of adding something to take during my work out. Damn that stuff was the shit back in the day, I've used that since I first started and it was part of my primary arsenal. My father even used it as well as the original Pak. That would be used after my workouts, for me I have found it works very well. The Pak and this will help me add definition to my body as well as land a nice physique. This will defintely benefit me and I fathom to use it so carefully that it will help me in the right moments and better my body up.

nitro is something I have been looking to add to my supplement arsenal the reason I have not yet is simply because of $ issues I recently started running 3-5 miles a day 5 times a week and I know nitro is something that will help me keep all the precious muscle I have built up over the past year or so I'm still new to the iron game but my love falls with MMA and I need the endurance nitro will help me level out the iron and the cardio endurance.

I've never tried Nitro G. I've taken Nitro everyday for about the past 6 months because I know the importance of EAAs, but I never got Nitro G because it was so much more expensive per serving.
The reason I want to try it is because everyone seems to love the shit. I know you used to use it during your workouts along with Storm after your first two exercises, so that's exactly how I would use it.

I love Nitro G. I take it throughout my workout, the reason I prefer nitro G over regular nitro is because I'm a wrestler and I don't train like normal people... I train with crazy amounts of intensity, not Mike Mentzer intensity... Steve Michalik intensity.... Going as hard as humanly possible, as fast as humanly possible... Getting the most done in the least amount of time. 40 20+ rep sets in 20 minutes, 80 set leg workout in an hour, 80 set back workout in an hour, 2000 rep arm workout in 45 minutes, etc....
The dextrose not only acts as a transport unit for the amino acids, but helps to keep my energy levels high throughout the workout. Nitro's good, don't get me wrong, but for my purposes, I much prefer Nitro G...

Wow, uuuummmm......speechless! Almost a full year's supply of Nitro G?!?!?! By far the most monumental promo that's been set up here in the Forvm IMO!

So, the first question asked is: Why I think I should have these three cases?

I'll be honest, I don't feel I need all 3 boxes, but if that's how the promo's set up, then so be it. But if I were to win I definitely wouldn't keep this all to myself. I'd probably keep a box to myself, maybe a bit more, and use the rest to give to fellow animals and promote the Animal line of supps to those people that I see in my gym who are dedicated. I've already been talking to a few of them about what supps they take and inform them of what supps I take. Showing them the real thing and giving them a chance to use it would then show them I'm not B.S ing when I say Animal supps work!

Why Animal Nitro G and not regular Nitro?

My interest in hypertrophy has been sparked by Tiny. He has given some golden nuggets of knowledge to us in his "Ask the Pro's" thread. One of which is super saturation before, during and after a work out. I've taken this to heart, in a quest to put on lean mass, as well as slim down the fat percentages. From what I understand the biggest thing in doing this is insulin control. And this is where Nitro G comes into play. The insulin levels need to be spiked and the carbs in the Nitro G and Torrent are what would do it. Using regular Animal Nitro wouldnt give me these carbs that I need to kick start my insulin levels. Winning this Nitro G and coupling it with Torrent would allow me to fully take advantage of the anabolic window of opportunity in and around my workouts. I was going to just rely on Torrent, but Nitro G could give me the ultimate edge, as well as save me hundreds of dollars on my stock of Torrent.

When would I take the Nitro G?

I'd start off taking a serving of Torrent 30 minutes before my workout. That would spike my insulin, and the carbs in that serving would become stored as muscle glycogen while I'm already using the glycogen that had already been stored as I start my workout. As I exercise I know my body is going to try and release cortisol and that would cause me to go catabolic. This is when I would take Nitro G b/c the introduction of simple carbs and EAA's would blunt the cortisol response. This coupled with the fast acting protein found in the Torrent would automatically get my muscles to recouperate and start repairing themselves, keeping me in an anabolic state. The EAA's would help me maintain what muscle I do have as well. I'd then ingest a whey protein immediately following the workout.

This would definitely help me pack on some lean mass and it would be an honor to win such a large amount of such an awesome product. First off, I never got to use Nitro G. I never bought any or got samples, etc, when it was in production. I always heard great things about this product but never seemed to have the means to get some (I always had to buy protein first, then pak, then flex, and then the rest of my staples..). I am anxious as hell about the new EAA Nitro to hit the market for sure, but this would be extremely sick to win...

I would use the Nitro G as such. 2 packets in a gallon of H2O everyday, along side my normal gallon. I would drink it mainly for my workouts (during) as well as sipping on it throughout the day until the gallon was empty, then repeat the next day. I work out at 10 a.m. each day, so it would be awesome to have in the mornings along side my eggs to give my body the essentials during some brutal workouts while I am on KETO.

I would put it to use this Fall when I do another Bulk, now that I have more knowledge and a new found determination (thanks to the Forvm). It would become my new intra/post workout supp on my way to being 'That Guy'.

Nitro G is/was an awesome product and I will continue using it when it launches again. I used it for a long time and I always used it during training...it helps push those aminos since it has the carbs in it. My sessions were always great when I used it and it definitely helped with recovery and to push harder. I always increased my number of reps or weight EVERY single session. I remember during some leg workout I was just spent midway through...then I started sippin on it and it just brought me back alive. I'd start sipping it midway through then follow it up with Torrent. I love Nitro G...the taste is awesome as well.

I understand it has been discontinued and will be brought back as a bulk supplement under the Universal label, but I prefer the individual packs. I always kept a couple in my gym bag, and took one religously about 2/3 of the way through my workout. Occassionally taking one before it, if it had been a while since my last meal. One of the Animal lines biggest selling points to me is the packs. Grab one, through it in your pocket or bag and your ready to go. Now, I'll have to buy it in bulk and keep lots of little ziplocks in my gym bag, or stuff the whole container in there. Kind of a pain in the a$$......

I would want to use nitro G because this summer I am working on the railroad (no joke). If I had these delicious packets with me I could down some throughout the day, replenishing my glocogen stores and preserving my muscle. I already wanted to use either Nitro or Nitro G for this exact purpose, though G would be much eaaier for me and also serve as my simple carbs. I will be doing grunt work like driving spikes and movie ties so am sure to get a good cardio workout everyday. I just dont want to lose any muscle mass in the process and get my aminos in regular periods.

Like many others I too am tired of having to buy my gatorade separately and adding it to my aminos. I would love to get my hands on this, and spread the wealth. I among many others am anticipating the release of EAA nitro and I think this would be a great way to start drumming up some new Universal users. Nitro G is my favorite supplement from the Animal/Universal line, hands down. Sure, I could just swallow regular Nitro pills with some orange juice, but not only does Nitro G contain all the essential aminos, it is also the best tasting supplement on the market. Do I deserve the promo? I think so. I like the Nitro G because it pairs up well with the Storm that I take during my workout. It gives that little extra you need during the workout and also adds to the storm. It doesn't cost me nothing either carb wise compared to the torrent. I could use it in place of Torrent as a recovery also. I am on a cut and I started taking torrent as recovery and I gain 2 lbs, so I am dropping Torrent and looking for something to replace it and this would be perfect. Why should I have these three cases of Nitro G? Simple. Carbs + EAA's are an effective formula for muscle growth & maintenance. While dieting, I do not go keto like many others on this forum, and rely on carbs to fuel my animal training sessions, not fats. A combination like Nitro G is perfect for around my workouts (pre, during, & post) and would definately help me come in at my peak while maintaining the muscle I busted my ass for. I didn't win the Nitro/Omega stack, but I'm buying Omega anyways. As far as the nitro, hell I'd rather have Nitro G anyday...the carbs & aminos are crucial when you're doing ass to the grass squats at 6:30 a.m. with essentially NO fat in your system or on your body...

I've been a follower of Animal for a few years now. I'm currenty 5'11" / 212 lbs, at 12% bf. I intend to compete for the first time in summer '09. Now I don't deserve this promo anymore than the other person posting in this thread. However, being a scientist, I do know the importance of amino acid uptake and utilization into muscle and energy stores in the body.

I would take these 4 times a day (as should everyone) for optimum usage of the amino acids by the body:
1.) Morning: When cortisol levels are high to create an anabolic window to allow for an increase in insulin which promotes an increase in amino acid uptake into protein synthesis in muscle fibers. The increase in amino acids also causes a rise in glucagon secretion which allows those important amino acids to be taken up by liver and processed into energy via gluconeogenesis.

2.) Pre-workout: For the same reason as before but in this case just to spike insulin and and glucagon levels once again in the blood, keeping these hormones high to fuel the body properly during the workout.

3.) Post-workout: Cortisol is high once again because of the stress (exercise) placed on the body so this is another anabolic window for insulin and glucagon to play their role in utilizing the amino acids. However, to your advantage this time you have a rise in growth hormone which indirectly (via somatomedins which initiate the secretion of insulin like growth factor-1) promote even more protein synthesis in muscle with the excess amino acids from Animal Nitro G.

4.) Bedtime: Why? Well simple, growth hormone is once again an important regulator of metabolism and is the highest at night providing even more amino acids for protein synthesis. In addition, in response to an overnight fast, insulin levels decrease and your muscles will start to degrade a bit to use amino acids for energy to spare excess glucose for your brain. Since, Animal Nitro G is taken at night, this phase can be blunted and the protein stores will not need to be tapped for energy.

There is so much more that could be said about endocrinology and the crucial role that Animal Nitro G can play in keeping up with anabolism that everyone desires. Those are the main reasons why this supplement is crucial. Plus, since Animal Nitro G comes in a powder form, mixing it with water will keep you well hydrated.

because it's so damn convenient in those packets with the 35g of dextrose already added.
you don't have to worry about fruit juice or this or that. just mix that sucka and drink it down.
intra-workout a la BigAnt is the way i hit the Nitro G.

Because I can't do this alone. You can lift all you want, but if you ain't getting the right food and supps, it's just not going to happen for you. Sure Nitro is a great choice. It has the aminos nessesary to help you grow. However, Nitro G has that something extra to help you become that Animal you strive so hard everyday to become. You gotta take it when it counts the most... first thing in the morning to get you body primed and ready to grow. Plus, it gets you out of that catabolic state. Second, you gotta take it post workout. Quite possibly the most important time to take it because it immediately starts the muscle building process after a hard training session. I should have the three cases because I would put it to good use on my way to becoming the biggest baddest weight slinging freak around.

Regular Nitro is cool but it lacks a good transport system. I'd go with Nitro G because the carbs get your insulin working to shuttle those aminos where they need to be.

I would take a few packs and mix it in my gallon water jug to sip on while working out and then take another immediatly after my workout followed by a bunch of whey. EAA's are the shit and will help to keep me in an anabolic state day in and day out.
