Yea Animal is a part of you but animal is also what this fucking board is about so we should conduct oursleves in a way that reflects that. Not "giggle" like a little school girl. If they are words you rarely use then why use them anyway, would you speak that way with your friends? Probably not for fear of being ridiculed by them or being looked at funny for saying something awkward. This is not the place to be cute or "act Stupid" this place is for serious minded poeple who are here for diet, training, supplementataion advice as well as encouragement and to talk about the sports of bodybuilding and powerlifting and improving your physique overall. If you wanna fucking flirt with the ladies and act all cutesy Dr Phil has a great website to do those sort of things at, if you want to promote intelligent conversation about diet training and being an Animal then this is the place to do that.
I'm sure Toni will love this little episode in her thread....

Toni, long time no talk - How's that diet going?! Still going strong??
Ok...getting in my last workouts here before I leave for NY this friday with my boy Justin. By the way, flying scares the shit out of me! V had me on serious high carb days starting last sunday..now I am on a med day, tomorrow low, then zero's till saturday. Funny enough, when he had me on these really high carb days, I was feeling more exhausted than ever before. Maybe it was because I was so freakin full of carbs it wore my ass down? I dont know..I felt great today and got in a decent leg wo..my last one actually.
V will re-evaluate me sat when he sees me in person, of which I am extremely excited about. Vinny G rocks and is by far the coolest guy around..plus, he really knows his stuff. I am extremely happy with the shape I am in now and its because of his guidance. So, it is truly an honor for me to finally meet him.
The show is June 2..I will check in here while at my parents' place when I can, but I will be very busy dialling it all in before my show. I am nervous as hell...but definitely more excited. I look foward to meeting any of you who are attending the Bev Francis. Try and get at me after prejudging if you are there...just yell Toni..oh...they may use my "real" name Antoinette Gast...so pay attention! LOL
Whoever goes to the night show..perhaps we can all get together for drinks afterwards? Make sure you get at me cause I do not know how hectic it will be there. I dont know who most of you are..but you know me...so pull me aside or yell at me..just get my attention somehow!
Later guys and gals...keep it clean here at the forum while I am gone! I will be thinking of all of you and I hope to have good news upon my return.

Just caught the newest pics Toni. Absolutely SICK from the back! You're shoulders and back are insane, and should certainly carry you far in the show. You did a great job getting the water out of your legs too...good luck girl...it's all down to the stage now. Go give 'em hell.

Oh, the water is not out..trust me? Today I think I look pretty darn good..got the 8-pack showing through, can actaully flex my quads and see separation in the thigh area...some more by the knee, but I hold water there like crazy.
By showtime, I will look completely different..then again we all usually do. You never look the same as before or after your on that stage. Last show, as thin as I was, the day before, I looked completely different than the day I stepped out onto the stage. Its almost a guessing game really..you hope to God you did it all right and you wake up looking like your supposed to and feeling good on top of that on the day of the show.
I get very nervous for prejudging..never fails. I shake and really get worked up..I dont know why..I just do. I hope at this show, I get my shit together and I act a bit more confident on stage. I do feel good overall.
Training and dieting for this show was rough on me because of this divorce I am going through and it surely took its toll on me emotionally...not because Im sad..just the pressures I have been put under, the name calling...all the bullshit that you can only ignore for so long. It wore me down and did affect my training at times..my energy levels..and so forth. I pushed through because this is something I needed to do for myself...and I had Vinny in my corner and did not want to let him down..plus you guys. I wanted to show people here that some women do have the same goals and expectations of themselves as you guys do in the lifting game and we can fit in if you let us.
I do want to say thank you to everyone for all the kind words, pick me ups, funny comments..and not so funny comments...that have crossed our ways here at the forum. We have come to this place as a small group, and many of us "grew up" together while being here. I do consider many of you my bruthas and sistas and hope to one day offer you the support and assistance you may need as you all have done for me throughout my bit of a journey here.
I will be back in the UK June 9..but then, busy with my move back to the states...but I will be around..lurking..you know me!

Reading this thread is kind of disturbing me, the responses of some of the "men" on this forum could be miscontrued as something not so manly by reading your posts. "make me giggle" "rub my lucky socks"??? It makes me fucking sick, I am honestly embarassed by reading these posts. Not to take anything away from Toni her progress is awesome and inspiring but to the rest , this is The ANIMAL FORVM so i suggest you act like it.

Alright Brothers and Sisters, just to let you know, Toni's flight is offically head'n towards the East Coast.... Keep her in your thoughts and prayers cause she had some obvious nerves about the long flight on top of the contest nerves..... Our Sister is coming home!

Just wanted to say hello and Im still standing! Im ready to go...seen V a few times and I have to say, the man is amazing. He is one of the best people you could ever meet in a lifetime. No matter how this goes, meeting him was just an honor. I will be in NYC tomorrow resting up for saturday. I look foward to this and meeting any of you who show up. I have been out of it so I hope sat I have a major adrenaline rush kick me in the ass cause I did my best in bustin by butt to feel worthy enough to get on that stage.

Toni, You only know us online, however we all feel like we know you very well. Your more then worthy to be where you are. I don't know about everyone else but I think that I can speak for us all and feel honored to be in the same forum as someone who has so much dedication and passion that ANIMAL oozes from every post they make.
