Let me introduce myself. My name is Bill and I have been training, seriously, for two years. During these two years, I have taken the Animal Pak...religiously, and I will never train without it. I am a week into my first can of Animal Cuts and I am having amazing results. Water weight already seems completely gone and I am noticing a larger amount of definition within this short period of time. I joined this forum because I am tired of the bullshit replies on other forums I've been on. Stupid replies, same questions asked over and over, huge egos left an right.....but not on the F O R V M. The only thing I see here is unity. I am looking foward to improving my workouts, getting new recipes, and interacting with fellow Animals. I also like the idea of local Animals getting together and training, the F O R V M already feels like home brothers. I live in the SoCal area by the way.

Peace brothers.

Im 20 and I am a US Army Infantry soldier. I just started lifting again when I got stationed at Ft. Hood. Haven't really been into lifting since high school but now I've went from about 178 to about 190 in the last 4 months and tryin to bulk up to about 215. Animal and Universal products helped me back in the day so thats why Im here, more serious than ever.

Whats going on fellas. My name is peter, originally from poland but currently living in the chicago-area. Im 19, been working out since i was 14. i go to depaul university--i'm a sophomore. i workout at the school's gym--its decent but theres a bunch of pricks that walk around like their hot shit but i guess its a chicago thing since i get the same thing at x sport where i workout over the summer. i remember reading something in wrath's journey how he went to this one gym and dudes with big arms and no wheels look as if they've been walking with their arms all their lives. don't think i take stock to what they look like or w/e, i just like the moto "leave your ego at the door".

ever since i started reading articles here i got so jacked that i added a thousand extra calories to my diet (clean) and demolished my old workout regime and made a more hardcore one.

i'm 5'9.5'', 178 lbs trying to get nasty. Thanks for reading and everything else.

Hey guys, I'm 20 years old, from GA, and I compete in Strongman. I was pretty good in teenage years, but an injury set me back. I work at GNC, I'm almost a certified personal trainer, and I'm going to school for my exercise science degree.

Whats up guys. Im 28 years old and have been devoted to the gym for the last 10 years or so. Coming out of college I was very hardcore into the sport of bodybuilding, my life centered around it. As the years go on and work and other things take precedent, its tough to stay focused. Im here to get myself back on track and devoted to the gym like I used to be. Ive been around and seen alot, so I hope I can contribute here and there. I'm here to learn, share ideas, and meet some new bros who share the same passion for this stuff as I do. Later.

Hey guys,
I just joined and thought I would say whats up. I currently live in Columbus, Ohio and go to school at OSU. I have trained for about 7 years for football/track. I was recruited out of high school for football but not to the school that I have always wanted to play for, Ohio State.

I am 270lbs, 6'1. Football we lift with 225 so I haven't maxed out for a long time. But I did bench 225lb x 21 and squated 225lb x 45. I have been raised in football so I really haven't focused on being shredded so I am not very happy with physique at the moment, since we really didn't care if I had a 6 pack or not all that mattered is if I could put someone on their ass. I have too much belly/love handle fat. I did try the Nutrisystem diet, which actually didn't work to bad but I lost a lot of strength/muscle and 9 months later have gained about 75% of the weight back.

My stack consists of Animal Paks, NO2, CE2, and obviously a lot of protein. I have tried fat burners and they really haven't worked at all. I have read OX's thread and think I am in the same boat he was in and need to cut ALL carbs.

I have a 39" waist so I really need to focus on my mid section. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. In my senior year of high school I tore my hamstring so I haven't lifted legs on a steady basis for about 2 years. I have heard that lifting legs can aid in cutting the waist line alittle. I am happy with progress of things, minus the waist line problem.

One more thing, I was at the Arnold Classic last year and was told to not waste my time on decline bench from one of the Animal Bodybuilders. I do have a small amount of fat on the lower part of my chest. Wouldn't decline bench eventually take care of that?

Thanks guys and now to begin reading!

I've been told the same thing about decline bench; personally, I think it's an 'ok' lift, but I prefer the regular flat bench...just bring the bar down lower on your midsection and you'll get the same feeling in your lower pecs as you would if you were doing decline bench.

This sounds like a tale of spot reduction. You will lose that fat on your chest if and when you diet down a little. When your body leans out your chest will follow. Just remember, it may be a little more stubborn on you than it is others so you have to be patient. As for the decline question, they probably told you that because of the limited ROM. It will not take care of that fat on your lower chest by itself though I can guarantee you that.

Thanks for the info. I definately understand that its going to take hard work and I am definately ready/have been putting it in but it does sometimes get discouraging, my midsection is/has been the worst spot on my body, which is probably true for a lot of people. I need to start read up about dieting and leaning down for my body type.

Thanks again!

I'm hoping to pick up some good advice from the experience of the guys on this forum. I'm 38, male, 87.5 kilos and I'm a keen road cyclist who does a bit of swimming. I am not a bodybuilder, but I have benefitted from using Animal Pak and Animal Cuts. I am interested in building leam muscle for 3 sessions a week on the bike. My sessions last 2.5 to 4hrs in length. I have just started using NOX3.
Can anyone tel me more?

Thanks to the great products and articles from ANIMAL, all you guys in the FORVM and all resistance training enthusiasts out there. Currently at 80kgs with low body fat, looking to get up to 90 with lean muscle by spring. Looking to build my legs more. I am not looking to get freaky like Jay in this years Olympia, thing Frank Zane is big enough, you see I also do the martial arts and I don't want the size to hinder that.

10-09-07, 9:35 am
What's goin on, Animals? Is this the zoo? Great! Then I'm in the right place.

I'm HKR-Chief. I'm 6' tall, and currently 179 pounds. I started hitting the weights at the beginning of August (07) and at the time I weighed somewhere between 160 and 165. I'm 35 years old, and I'm a Chief in the US Navy. Currently I'm in Iraq for 12 months.

Previous to this, the last time I did any weight training was back in '94. I worked out for 6 months back then and only got up to 172 pounds. I didn't know anything about, or the importance of, proper nutrition, proper supplementation, and proper rest/recovery. I drank one shake a day and with the metabolism I had, it didn't really do much for me. This time, I did a lot of reading, a lot of web browsing, and learned as much as I could about those subjects and the results I'm getting this time are much better.

I've always been a thin person, normally referred to as the skinny guy, but now that I'm getting a little older, I've developed just enough fat in my midsection to hide my abs and make some nice little love handles. I've always had poor posture, constantly slouching, because I had no chest to stick out. I am now determined to change that. I am going to work out as long as it takes to develop a thick chest, broad shoulders, bulging arms, and my ultimate goal, abs that say "Look at me!" I want to be able to walk around proud, chest out, and know that I've got it.

I'm in. I'm committed. I'm an Animal!

10-10-07, 4:07 am
What's up guys, my name's Nate and I'm 27 years old and I've been lifting pretty steady now for about 8 years. I'm 6'1" and weigh about 195lbs. I'm a classic hard gainer and have to bust my ass to see any gains at all. I bench around 275 and deadlift around 460, but I can get my deadlift over 500 pretty easy if I lift heavy. I don't even know how much I squat because I only squat light for reps. I lift mostly to keep in shape for work since I'm a fireman and also because I play judo . I'm not looking to put on much size; if anything I'd rather lose a few pounds or stay the same weight and be stronger because I'm kind of soft right now. Judo has weight classes and my weight class is usually 189lbs and I don't like to cut much weight for tournaments.
As far as goals go, eventually I'd like to be benching three plates, but it's going to take some time for me to get there. Another goal is to do 30 pull-ups. I can hit 25 pull-ups now on a good day, but I think I've got 30 in me. I think I'm at a pretty good weight for my body, but I could stand to lose about 10 pounds of fat.
I've tried Animal Stak and MStak before with pretty good results, and will probably try a cycle of Animal Test to see how that works for me.

So i thought i might share some of my trial and error over the last few years of what has worked for me!! Thanks

well i am getting back into lifting i am 25 and stoped lifting when i was done playing football and became a navy SEABEE which was about 2 1/2 years ago. i have always lifted for the good of the team since i was about 15. so i have been mainly power lifting and doing the teams program. but i never looked worth a shit. i am a big guy 6-3 285 and always get stuck in a rut lifting high weight low reps but now i am trying to break all that. just thought i could pick up some good info here and keep my routine fresh.

I work nights, I workout at nights, I eat at night, I fuck at night, I don't wake until the sun is on its way down. I am animal. I put my pants on the same as each of you and I know I can't lift as much as some of you but I bet I can outwork most of you. I wake up to two cans of tuna and a shake, I go to bed staring at two cans of tuna and a shake. I go to work for 9 hours, get off and go to the gym, I'm ready for warmup at 2 am. A nice warmup, an hour and a half ball busting workout, a little cardio and some sweat pouring sauna. I leave around 4:30am. Get home and have my post workout meal and start homework. Shit I'm having my last meal for the day around the time most people are waking up. I love this lifestyle. I don't think i'll ever change it. If I die in my sleep when I'm older my time of death will be when the sun is up.

Gentlemen-

Greetings and salutations. I have been lifting on and off (mostly off) since I was in high school. I was kicked out of the Navy about a year ago for being a fat ass, and in just a few short months I shot up to 300lbs. Went to the doc, she said my liver enzymes were messed up and it (my liver) was enlarged. Then I found out my wife was pregnant…

There is my motivation…my son…my wife…me. I have been lifting like a maniac since I found out I was gonna be a daddy. I want to make sure that I’m around and able to be a dad for a long time.

Am I an ‘Animal’, who knows…who really cares? Don't judge me.

What's up my name is Rob and I am 27 years old. I am an American who has been living in Korea off and on for 7 years. Been here this time since 2003. I was in the US Army for five years and I have been a Defense Contractor for the last five years. I have been married for the past year and a half and I don't have any children.

When I was 18 I weighed a horribly thin 130lbs. I gained about 30 lbs in my five years in the military but I didn't really start training to get bigger until 2003. Until 2005 I weighed around 175 lbs and then finally I started eating a lot more and managed to put on 25lbs in the last two years.

I have taken Animal Pak for the last two and a half years. Animal Pump for the last 15 months and Nitro G for the past year. I have done Stak 2 twice and M-Stak once and I had great results with both. My next stack will be the Test Explosion Stack with the inclusion of Pump, Nitro G and Flex. I'll finish it with M-Stak. I'll try to do a log but I am lazy when it comes to updating on Forums so bear with me. Anyway I want to put on about 15 more pounds (I say this now but when I reach that goal I may increase it) and then I will cut some bodyfat.

Currently:
Height: 6' (183cm)
Weight: 200lbs (91kg)
Bodyfat: 12%

One Rep Max:
Deadlift: 375lbs
Bench: 225lbs
Squat (ass to floor): 225lbs

That's the end of my long ass introduction.

Hey everyone. Been reading these forums for a few months now and just finally signed up. I'm 23, orginally from Chicago but am in college right now in Indiana. Been lifting for about 3 years now. Got pissed off with being out of shape the summer after my sophmore year in college and started hitting the gym hard. I'm just over 6'2 and was about 295 when I started, down to about 230 now.

I have been using Animal products for about 3 months now and love them and really liked the attitude of people on this site so I finally decided to stop lurking and joined.

sup fellas?

My name is Cody and i'm 19 years old. I currently live in Beaumont TX, and unfortunatly attend Lamar College Beaumont full time, with a part time job. I weigh in at around 260 and i stand 5'11'' according to my drivers license. I've been training since i was 15 years old and continue to train with more and more intensity as the days slowly pass by. The dream? to simply be the best, the biggest, the most shredded, the strongest. Not to boast to man for my acheivment, not to "brag" to others for my feeble accomplishments, but to satisfy the unending, the ever growing thrist thats seems to drive me with each un godly workout i put myself through. I look in the mirror everyday and hate what i see. Fellas, my entire life, my time, my money, my passion, revolves around this concentrated passion i have come to know as anger. I've lost a many girlfriends and recieved many talks from family. My family doesn't understand the passion, the goal that i have set for myself. Regardless of what my family thinks or doesn't understand i will continue to press forward towards the goal that i have set for myself. Guys... your born weak and little, and you die weak and little.... how you look in between is your buisness.

Hi everyone!!!, it feels great to be part of the Animal family.

My name is Archie, I´m from Spain and for ten years of my life (up until a couple years ago) I have been a semi - pro 400m runner in the sport of track.

I´ve always been on the weights as part of my training, but it hasn´t been until five months ago that I have decided to turn to the bodybuiding way of life seriously.

Its always been hard for me to gain weight doe to my ectomorphic frame, but since I started to take my meals seriously ( 5 months ago), I have gone from 147 to 167 pounds and rising, at 5 ft 9inch.

Still have a long road ahead but I´m really looking forward to it, and thanks to the animal comunity I feel that nothing can go wrong!!!!

Hi guys how you all doing.

Just like to say a few words about myself. Some of you may know who i am from other Forums.

I'm Mick and i'm from the UK. I have been training for around 11 years now but on a more serious note over the last 3-4 years. I started out at 26 year old weighing no more than 112lbs and just recently managed to get to 170lbs (my heaviest i have been). Steady progress made with little injuries throughout those years. Finding it harder to keep that little bit of fat off though now... :)

I am married (18 years) to Debi with 3 children of which 2 girls of 19 and 17 have left school and my son is an aspiring soccer player at 14.

I am an Engineer by trade and work for Coca-Cola Enterprises but i have been studying in Nutrition and gym instructing and one day hope to become a trainer to help anyone out that needs advice on their health.

Well thats a little about me and i hope my input on here is helpful to all and enjoyable too. :)

Thanks guys

Mick

Just signed up and this forvm looks freakin' awesome and just my thing.

I'm a Norwegian, but working and pumping iron & Animal pills in Hong Kong. I'm 27, been active all my life, but during the last few years, bodybuilding has rocked my world. 6 days a week; I eat, destroy and recover, and the 7th day, I just eat and recover. I'm 6,2 and 200 pound, so I in the process of eating and pumping my brains out with an aim to reach 250 pound some years later.

I've only been on Animal for 4 months, and no other product has worked so well for me as Animal has. Started on just Animal Pak for the basics, now I'm stacking STAK as well which really has given me something extra in the gym, but I'm curious to see the effect of adding PUMP and perhaps Nitro.

Well, I just found myself desperately searching for Tuna at the office, as I realized I was empty this morning, and I haven't eaten for 2 hours, except a protein shake. I had to send my assistant out on shopping. It's all in the name of business. Hardcore fucking business.

All or nothing. Glad to be here.

I think compared to the bulk of you I'm pretty green here. I've been seriously lifting for the past fifteen months, with spurts here and there previously at weight attempts. I did football and track in high school. Post college, married and working I found myself starting to go. Previously I was always a hard gainer, but now I was starting to slow down a little bit and one day it hit me: I stood in the hallway at work and saw person after person leaving a meeting with sodas, donuts and other crap food; it was a big assembly of tire guts. The men slumped their shoulders froward and stared at the ground as they walked with no sense of pride or strength in them at all. A voice in my head asked "Is this the kind of man you want to become?" from that day forward I couldn't ignore these things all around me. Television, movies, vending machines, advertisements - the world wants me to be weak, fat and stupid. The world wants to throw its Hollywood models at me on one hand and poison me with its garbage food on the other. I started to get angry. Every day I see these things and every night when I train I find freedom from it. Yukio Mishima once wrote that to embody a heroic ideal, one must adapt a heroic body as its vessel. This couldn't be more true. I found myself smothered in monotony, mediocrity and I found that the temper I have been fighting my whole life has found its natural place against the Iron...to me, it is what I am engineered to do. I found a reoccurring theme with myself in regard to bodybuilding and then I came across the article at this site called Life is a Freakshow (http://www.animalpak.com/html/article_details.cfm?ID=27) by Machine.

YES! THIS is the approach I was looking for! These are the philosophical thoughts I was also experiencing regarding bodybuilding. THIS was the elite, the hardcore; those that approach bodybuilding and life as a battle, a war, a struggle for divine ascension through iron, sweat and pain.

So here I am, it's good to be here. I look forward to learning and growing with all of you out there.

Hey

I’m Damien from the UK.
I’ve been wanting to do this for years but I never had the motivation to do it. I finally decided to do it back in August after I noticed I put on quite a bit of weight. A few weeks ago I discovered this site, read through it as you do and I’m hooked. I’m on my 11th week now and got an awful long way to go, but it makes me feel really good and I love the feeling of aching muscles a day later knowing I’ve achieved something.

This site was the kick in the ass I needed.

Cheers

When I started I was 220lbs of twisted steel and sex appeal..lol Im playin, I was sloppy and my diet was terrible. None the less I started to get back into recreating my image and started again about 1 week ago. I have noticed a major change in my attitude and some minor changes in the physic as well. I ran to my local nutrition shop and got some Animal Pak, Iso powder and a fat burner to get me started again!! I just recently opened up my own staffing agency and have alot more time to dedicate to me.I'm going to post some pics shortly and look forward to sharing and learning with you all in the future.

heh :)

I saw "The Henchmen" logo and thought I'd name myself.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v108/curt_james/Animal/stickman.jpg

Just kidding.

Received the welcome message to The Forvm at Animalpak.com and thought I'd offer an intro.

What I do is represent the skinny side of lifting. Not my choice, but seemingly Mother Nature's assignment for me. Actually, I recently lost 20 pounds of fat and dropped my gut from 37" to 32" by eating 1500 kcals a day, lifting three days, and doing cardio 5 days a week.

Consistent work equals consistent results.

I hope the same will go for gaining now without adding fat to the waistline again.

I'm also an elementary school art teacher - the most macho of jobs immediately following lion tamer, fireman, and Army Ranger, of course.

Interests include bodybuilding of any kind and any federation. My introduction to the sport was courtesy of the June 1978 issue of Muscle Builder and Power with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Franco Columbu, and Frank Zane on the cover.

I'm a fan. I'm what my one ex girlfriend called a "bone biscuit," but I love lifting and SOMEONE has to make ya'll look hyooog. It's all relative. Without the skinny people, without our fat brothers and sisters then those of you who proudly possess the zero percent bodyfat and 22-inch guns would only look ordinary. Thank us.

I'm 6'1" and all of 150 pounds. Most I've ever weighed was 180 soaking wet. Top lifts have been 200 bench (with lift off and mighty bounce from chest), 365 deadlift, 265 ATTG squat. Most recently I was 170 pounds of "skinny fat" and chose to cut big time to remove that fat gut. I began that cut days after my 45th birthday this past August 2007.

Glad to be a new member of The Legion and The Forvm. Looking forward to reading and learning.

Howdy everyone. My name is Joe, I'm in the Army, stationed at Ft. Bragg with the 82nd Airborne Division. I've been lifting since I was a high school freshman in 99, but started getting a little more serious around 2003. Since I've been in the Army, my passion for lifting has only gotten stronger. Now I take my weight training very seriously. I've had a few minor setbacks that forced me to neglect and all together cease training a few times (torn ACL football 03, broken ankle and torn ligaments botched landing 05). But thats just fuel for the fire to come back harder.

I'm 5'11, 190 lbs, with a bf of 9-12%. Right now my main goal is to get as strong as possible, and to hopefully add another 10lbs of lean mass within the next 6-8 months. I'm hear to learn as much as I can, and to share what knowledge I can.

Now I am 5'11" 193 at 11% bf. I will be starting my log soon enough. I havent looked around the forum too much, but what I've seen so far this is the best site for the life that we lead. I would eventually like to get up to about 185. With my frame I would be jacked. It's good to see some hardcore lifters and not the posers some of the other sites have.

I started a new job where two fellow employees were ex-bodybuilders. We started talking one day and they started telling me about animal pak and what it did for them. So I tried it and loved the results. Then they introduced me to their gym. I felt like I was finally home. It was a gym strait out of 1975. We had to open the windows and doors and turn on the fans. I can hold my own in the gym at 6'4" 245 lbs (or at least I thought), until they got a hold of me and showed me what I've been missing. The forums, stories, and of course the product that Animalpak.com offers keeps me going back over and over again for more punishment. I'm so pumped and focused that I'm at the gym every morning at 4:30 a.m. and I keep my motivation because of AnimalPak.com. I'm happy that I found a place where I can talk to other people about ideas and problems with workouts and diets, cause I ain't going to talk to you in the gym.

What's up guys,
Well I'm new here, def. not new to the iron game. I was serious a few years back and starting to prepair for my first competition then i strained a muscle in my side and had a slight hernia so had to take some time off... Well in that time I blew up and back in june I decided it was time to get back in the game. Heres some progress I have made so far:

First pic is may 24, second pic is aug 1st or something like that

A few weeks after second pic above:

And most recent picture from a few weeks ago:

Anyways right now I'm trying to finish up my cut before I go to florida and enjoy the sun with a 6 pack. Once I get back it's time for serious bulking, I plan on doing my first competition next year it'll be the last year I'm eligable for teen catagory. Once I get back I'm going to be looking into stacking M-stak and Pump along with pak for my multi.

nice to be aboard

Yo fellas,

I'm bemljeve from Belgium and new to this forum.
I'm 32 and Animalpak.com did change my live.
Two years ago I was overweight until I discovered this site. I started training following the routines on the site and of course started to the animal supplements.
I changed my died and last month, after two years of hardcore training I did my first show and ended 5th.
Now I'm preparing for my next show and hoping to , thats for losers, will have a better result.

I'm hear to learn as much as I can, and to share what knowledge I can.

and Congrats on being our 10,000th member of the Legion. Good luck on your Journey and thanks for serving our country.

reetings,

Just wanted to say hi to everyone.

I started my journey almost 2 years ago when I entered the Instone Lifechange Challenge Contest. I put on a lot of weight after my Father passed away. I just felt it was time to get my life back in order. So, while at the grocery store, I bought a copy of Muscle Mag. In that issue was add for the contest.

I didn't win the contest or even place, but in reality I did win. I've got my health back and I love bodybuidling!

A lot of people asked me what I did to get into shape so fast. I used Wraths Supplement Stack. I'll tell you what, Animal Cuts really helped burn the fat off.

I just bought 2 Tins of Animal Test, now it's time to get busy!

Here are some pictures. One is 284 pounds the other is 224 pounds

Congrats on your success. Sixty frigging pounds is bigtime success, too.

Animal Cuts was part of my supplement plan as I lost 20 pounds over the past ten weeks, dropping five inches from my gut.

Lion
11-05-07, 8:33 am
For a long time I've watched
Now I will speak, ask and discuss. Thank God there is still a sense of the "old" world around, right here.

Name's Lion,

"You watch those nature documentaries on the cable? You see the one about lions? You got this lion. He's the king of the jungle, huge mane out to here. He's laying under a tree, in the middle of Africa. He's so big, it's so hot. He doesn't want to move. Now the little lions come, they start messing with him. Biting his tail, biting his ears. He doesn't do anything. The lioness, she starts messing with him. Coming over, making trouble. Still nothing. Now the other animals, they notice this. They start to move in. The jackals; hyenas. They're barking at him, laughing at him. They nip his toes, and eat the food that's in his domain. They do this, then they get closer and closer, bolder and bolder. Till one day, that lion gets up and tears the shit out of everybody. Runs like the wind, eats everything in his path. Cause every once in a while, the lion has to show the jackals, who he is."

Glad to be here. Im from Denver, CO and go to the University of Denver. I am 21 yrs old come February. After taking a natural science class i realized my body was on the track of becoming weak, so i picked up weight lifting. With one of my friend's help i learned a lot about weight lifting and have continued to learn; i have now lifted for around 1 yr and 1/2. I used to be a competitive snowboard when the SOS series ran in Colorado. I went to highschool in steamboat springs and used to ride everyday. Now i work out and still ride some but riding is for fun, working out is for life.

Its good to be here and good to be around people who are hardcore about working out and not just sipping water lifting bitch weight for 3 reps and then leaving. I live in the gym. Its my wife.

Coach Fowler
11-09-07, 7:21 am
I am a Coach. I lift every day myself...first iron I rocked up was in 1976. That should give you an idea of my age.

I got tired of others expressing their ideas without any basis of facts or research. So, I went out & got an education in school & life. Now, I pass that knowledge & experience on to others. I teach in the junior high & high school levels. The legacy continues.

I can't lift as much as I could. Injury & age has seen to that. But, I do live my life vicariously through those that have the balls to step up & do the job. There are fewer & fewer in this world today that have what it takes. It seems that dedication has become a dirty word.

No one will regret entering the world of iron & steel. The results of your effort will be there for everyone to see...one rep at a time. There are some who will always wonder, "What could I have become if I actually had put forth the effort?". I pity them. They will live the rest of their lives with clouded unknowing minds.

The mind is a terrible thing to waste and the waist is a terrible thing to mind.

whats up fellows, i am new here, and looking forward to achieving some goals i have set for myself. i am 33 years old, 6'6" tall and went from 419lbs to where i am now(350lbs). i had lost myself for a long time. i played football in high school, and went on to play in college for 2 years until graduation. i got married in 97' and since then, gave up on training. i went from 240lbs at marriage to the big ass 419 within the marriage. my mother had a series of strokes because of her obesity(it definatly runs in the family) she is now left mentally retarded due to the damage from this. my wife finally told me"i love you, and your mom like my own mom, but i refuse to let you destroy what we have together. i dont want to see you end up having a stroke, i need you here for me and billy(my 9 year old son) i love my wife tremendously, and she had a legit reason to be on my case. i said screw it, and gave up on all the bad food, started exercising and weight training based on what i knew from football. i have done pretty good so far, but nutrition is my weak point. which brings me here, so all the help you guys can share, please do. since my weight loss, i have seen a side of life that i really forgot i had.(my wife really likes it too, if you know what i mean!!!) sorry for the novel here, just wanted to tell my entire story so you guys could know the whole me!! thanks in advance, bigdog

Hey my name is Nick, I'm 19 and I'm a freshman at college. I played high school football at 280 pounds and got recruited to play college ball, but hurt my back in a car accident. Since then I've cut down to 221 as of yesterday 11/8/07. I'm planning on doing my first bodybuilding competition within this next year. It all depends on how I look after this cut. Any experienced bodybuilders out there? I can use all the help I can get, trust me i'm not one of those snobby bitch kids who thinks they're always right. So I hope I can contribute the knowledge I have but more than anything learn from all you guys.

new to the forum wanted to introduce myself. I am 190 and 5'11" and have been working out for 6yrs or so. I first started as a sophmore in high school at 250lbs and completely out of shape. One days just started dieting and got down to about 220 and then finally took up wieght training. So i am finally in shape and ready to really bring up my numbers and muscle size and definition. I recently came off a 8 week program that I saw some awesome strength gains from in all areas and now i am going for a program that will help me pack on some mass. Look forward to browsing the forums and getting help from everyone and try to help others if i can. Thanks

how's it going? my name is jose, i'm 30, and i work as a component level electronics technician for the department of defense. i am originally from garden grove, california but i am currently living in just south of omaha, nebraska in bellevue. i am 5'10" and currently weigh approximately 255lbs. i started lifting as a freshman in high school back in '91. i had to stop lifting in 1995 in order to drop from 260lbs. to 176lbs. so i could go into the air force. eventually, i started lifting again while in the air force and gained all my mass back, only to have it taken from me again. with one year left in my enlistment, i was tagged for a weigh-in and my 260lbs. didn't jive with air force regulations which stated i could weigh no more than 184lbs. at my height. i dropped down to 184lbs. and then was honorably discharged upon completing my enlistment early in 2000. since then, it has been hard getting into a routine so i was on and off again for years. i looked at myself 5 1/2 weeks ago and asked myself, "where did that beast go to and who invited this fatass?" since then, i started getting back into the game with no excuses. started at 266lbs. and in 4 weeks i not only lost 11lbs., to drop me to 255lbs., but i lost 3" off my stomach and gained an inch on my biceps. i lift hard 4 days a week and do cardio and abs the other 3 days. i have been eating 6-7 clean meals a day. i decided to join these forums since i found them to be inspirational and helpful. i am currently taking the animal pak and storm via big ant's workout beverage/cocktail. when i started working out again, i had a goal of losing 30lbs. in 12 weeks. i lost 11lb.s the first 4 weeks. it will probably start tapering off with the muscle gains so not losing 30lbs. will not discourage me. i plan on making this a permanent part of my lifestyle from here on out.

whats up? just an intro of myself. from ky. 36 train iron skills in traditional kung fu, muay thai and kali. have been using universal products for 10 years, the animal pak was first,of course, still use it daily. just started m-stak as of 3 years ago i give up using "chemistry" to make gains. i had aspirations of being a bodybuilder, ut i do not have the genetics and you cannot put 100% into bodybuilding and martial arts, one of them has to suffer so i made my choice and i don't regret it. i weight train to some degree 6 days a week, but only have 4 regular weight workouts a week, ie.bodybuilding/power style. i know to get the real info to come here, i feel i can be "animal" in my martial training.

Just wanted to stop in an introduce myself. I've been stopping in on the Forvm for quite some time and finally decided to register and get on board. I am a big-time hardgainer and have struggled for years to put on weight. I went through HS around 6' and all of 155-165lbs. I began lifting weights in HS, but never really took it seriously. I went on to play baseball in college and continued to not take it seriously. I finished college around 170lbs. soaking wet and kept working out aimlessly for years. It took me until my late 20's to really start taking it seriously, but my struggles to put on weight continued. I finally buckled down a couple years back (playing rugby at 180lbs. has a way of motivating) and put my diet in order and increased the intensity of my workouts. Even though I had to get used to force-feeding myself at times, I started knocking back 7-9 meals a day, and kept it as clean as possible. That tied in with getting my crap together in the weight room has helped me put on 20 hard earned lbs. in the past two years. The most significant gains came after I started on Animal products last Winter.

I'm glad to be on board with so many positive thinking people.

Name: Theo
Age: 34
Height: 6'
Weight: 200-205
Sports: Rugby
Goals for this off-season: Increase power, add 5-10 more lbs. before the Spring season

Well - I have ben lurking for a few days. I like what I see. I like the dedication everyone here has, and I like the support everyone gives each other. The 11 rules for the forvm read like 11 rules or life as well.

My goal, unlike many here is not to be as big as I possibly can. Though I admire the intensity and dedication it takes for those who want to get there. I simply want to be in amazing shape. My body responds well when I eat healthy and when I workout, but I have never been able to maintian my commitments to make my body great.

I've checked out other websites BB.com and the like, but none of the people there showed the commitment to being the best that I see here. The support I see is great as well.

Here is the plan. Change my eating habits. I enjoy eating good food, I really don't eat a lot of sweets, but I do eat a lot of junk. I also drink a lot of soda. I need to cut that, and start drinking a lot more water. I do not have access to a gym for the next 3 months, so I plan to use those building a good base with basics like push-up, sit-ups, squats. (If anyone has a good workout please share) I want a physique that amazes people, and I'm starting to realize what it takes to get there. Definitely not what I've been doing.

When I am able to start lifting in the gym again, then I will add in the supplements. Any adive on what to use. I've researched a lot of them, and Animal Pak looks like th best choice, but is it really useful to someone who is not bulking and trying to be as big as possible. Are there better options or will I receive the benefits I am looking for from AnimalPak?

Thanks for the info. Look forward to hearing feedback.

It's Jonnydunz outta Philly but livin in southaven,Ms right now. I got into bodybuilding really in college, but as the years have past didn't understand or know as much as I needed to in regards to nutrition and rest/recovery. Well I am ready to get back into this lifestyle and keep this lifestyle for the rest of my life. I got away from the life a few years ago and have missed it so much. My personal best was back in 1996 when I was overweight at 255lbs and bodyfat around 20%. Was able to get myself into pretty good shape at that time at 215lbs and 7%BF. This is by far the best site that I have been on and its the only one that I will live by. The information on here is outstanding and the Animals on here are incredible people. Everyone has something to share on here and it has helped me so much. Much love and respect to those in this lifestyle. This life is not for the weak at heart, mind,or soul. Peace

Hello everybody. After reading The Eleven Rules and browsing the forvm a bit, I decided this looked a place I would be interested in being a part of. So, here I am. I'm from the Northeastern US. I work for a landscaping company, however, this Saturday I am taking a civil service exam to get into the County Sheriff's Department.

I'm 25 years old, 6 feet tall, 203 lbs, and I'm trying to bulk as much as I can until March. I began working out consistently when I was 19. I weighed about 160 then. I look forward to learning and contributing whatever I can.

wats up guys, im new here. I am 17, and started lifting about 6 moths ago. a little about me: i started out about 6 months ago at about 6' 235-240. my max bench then was about 185. i dont even know about dead lifts or squats. anyway, now, 6 months later i am about 6'1 and weighing in around 182 pounds. my max bench now is around 285, not a lot compared to most of you guys, but hey increasing my bench 100 lbs in 6 months is pretty good for me. anyway, i have been reading this site for inspiration for my lifts for the last month now and have finally decided to join up.
thanks guys.

Hey guys, thanks for welcoming me into this awesome community that truly understands the hardore lifestyle of training, eating, and sleeping. That everytime we step into the gym is a no-holds-barred grudge match with the iron and that bullshitting and going through the motions is a deadly plague. We crush the iron and strive to stay in the zone for the entire workout while blocking off distractions like a dumbass talking for 15 minutes between sets about a stupid football game or his new ride. I can't stand people like that and cannot catch their pussy plague syndrome. To all animals I salute. Embrace this lifestyle! Hell yeah!!

I, among many of you, entered this game with a purpose, and that was to get bigger in size. I was a skinny kid for my whole life and was bullied throughout elementary school and half of high school, until I hit the weights. I wanted to be stronger than those that pushed me down on the dirt, and make them cower at my presence. From this motivation, I simply fell in love with lifting. The feeling of the pump and getting bigger was the best feeling ever. Now, lifting is in my nature like eating, sleeping, and breathing is. I just try to improve/maintain my intensity in the gym and my lifts. That is the challenge I face. Another challenge is to get 6 meals a day in, but I only get 4-5 in a day. That pisses me off, but I am always striving to get those six meals a day in. I hope to get it down easily some day.

Start of bodybuilding: 7/04, weight: 140lbs. at 5'10''.
@7/05, weight: 165lbs.
@7/06, weight: 178lbs.@14% b.f.
@7/07, weight: 172lbs. @ 10% b.f.
today, I weigh 174 lbs. @ 12.5% b.f.
I'm disappointed with my progress, due to a lack of meals and poor consistency the past year. By being a member of animalpak.com, I will always get all my bodyparts in for the week and strive for 6 meals a day. I want to be 200lbs. by spring 2008.

whats up, i am pretty excited about finding this forum. My story is pretty simple, just got done with my college football carreer and am looking to get into the powerlifting world. I will graduate next fall with an exercise science degree from Moorhead State. I found this forum when I was looking for info on the difference between the stak 2, m stak, and the animal test and thought it looked like a cool group to be a part of. My current stats: ht. 5'10", wt. 210 lbs, bench 380 lbs, squat 515, dead lift 505.

Just got done reading the eleven rules and they are awesome, no bullshit, down to earth.
I am 31 and it has been 2 to 3 years since I have been in a gym. It has been a month and half now that i started going back. I used to use universal products but since the ban on andro i haven't used any since than. I had the best gains from the universal products. You can say that i have been lifting for about 5 years off and on but this time is different. Since going back to the gym i have never trained this intense before. Looking at the animal site seems to get me pumped for the gym. The whole dark and dirty look means that your here to lift not to tan or bs with other people about the day. I hope i can learn alot from the guys here.

Hey, so I have been training for about 6 years, competed a few times in local shows, as a light heavy. I'm a natty, all the way, I'm 5'6" and 225 offseason, and give or take 185 contest. Training is definitly the life for me. When others let you down, the iron is always there, keeping you grounded,it doenst matter if your huge or not, we are all part of the same game.

See ya there

Hey!

I came across some Animal literature back in time, but never took time to read sum... I went to gym for fun, to be with my friends - then after I got hooked on iron, I've read that literature - and it blowed me away - so here I am - determined to be an animal...
Great forum btw - hope I will learn a lot from you guys... Peace

Hey all, Ryan here. I found this "forvm" after watching a few of Wraths' training videos. I am quite impressed with the site and the way its run. I have been lifting for about 5 years. 2 years ago I started training like it meant something to me. Right now I am about 210lb, not that lean but I am bulking so I don't care all that much. In two years I hope to compete in my first show. My weakest areas would be my shoulders and hamstrings. Anyways hope to contribute to the site with some quality posts, and look forward to making some new friends.

What's up Animals?

The names Jer, been a member of a few boards over the years, seems like most turn into a bunch of BS. I like the no BS attitude and approach that this forum is about. Hope to learn and hear some inspiring and motivational thoughts and ideas around here.

Been lifting for about 8 years now. Got a little bit of a late start, but got hooked right off the bat. Don't THINK I'll ever compete, but just really dig the lifestyle that bodybuilding is.

Love to move the heavy slag.

Hey whats up fellow brothers. My name is DJ and im a ex powerlifter turned MMA fighter. Currently 19 and a freshman at Rutgers University. I started my own journey, like many of you, in H.S. for sports. When i started, i was at 105lb, %11 bodyfat, at 5'10. My strength was even less impressive with a 65lb max bench. Three years later, 175lb at %7-8 bodyfat and a max of 335lb bench, 485lb deadlift, and a 465lb squat all of the lifts raw, and all at 6 foot even. I switched into fighting currently and im going to be fighting for the new rutgers Muay Thai and Brazilian Jui Jitsu team. Luckily, the guys at animal were supportive in my new found journey and are helping me out alot this season. Representing what it means to be an animal, not only in the gym, but now the octagon, is such a great privilage. I am proud of who i am, and i know i am my own creator. I'll be keeping a post on my own personal fighting journey for others to follow. Feel free to toss in input, or a little kick in the ass for those 6am training sessions. Until then, be easy fellas..

sup,

I am 21, haven't missed a workout since I was 17. Actually overtrained for a good year or two and wasnt dieting properly ( read: wasnt taking nearly enough calories to build muscles). Got hooked on Animal pak last summer, followed hardcore workout plan and about 7-8 meals a day and my muscle gains were exponential. I am 5'10, my bodyweight is currently 190 with 11%bodyfat. I added about 20 pounds of muscles since the summer started. I have naturally big biceps but underdeveloped triceps. I look much stronger than I really am, my stats are 290 bench, 350 squat, 370 deadlift.

Goal= get to 200 and increase my strenght.

Hey the moderator said I should post-up and introduce myself..so here it is. I am kicking it here in Seatown. I have been lifting since highschool, but only started getting serious this last year. My work buddy Rhys got me to check out this forum, and it was a great lead. There is a ton of information here, and I am trying to sift through it a bit. Since I am a racer my goals are a bit different with lifting. I am trying to gain the most amount of strength with the least amount of size. I pretty much am trying to keep a year round shred/cut with low bf. I think I may try to keep a log on it because I am going to be trying to figure out how to push some weight while maintaining 145lbs-165lbs. I'll be glad to hear feed back. Thanks guys...

My name is Cage.
Located over here in Arizona.
I've always been a fan the site. Being a mesomorph child Ive been a decent size since I was 16. Ive walked around at very lean 200 since then and I'm only 5'10", not bad, but not good, just a start I suppose. Now 3 years later, and after 8 months of being homeless I lost 30 pounds of muscle. I got shit together and stopped living in the wild(not by choice with the later) and Ive built myself back up to 184 after 3 weeks. This sites been a good supplement to my mentality along with my stint in the wilderness. Its funny, you'd think being back in civilization would be welcoming thought to anyone. But something changed in me and even after 3 weeks I have to sleep on the floor. The only salvation I've found from my prison is in the depths of my mind and in the depths of the gym. At first I thought maybe I had lost a little something upstairs. Then I came to realize I had only woken up. So many people go from day to day in their monotonous routines content in their own rhetoric. They said pity on me, pity on the poor homeless boy who had nothing... How sad, they will never know how truly the situation is. Pity on me? No thank you, save the pity for yourself. Now that I am aware of how staggeringly ignorant they are I train even harder. For awhile I thought I was alone until by chance I happened across the site. I began reading and I came across another startling revelation, I was not alone. There were others who felt the same restlessness inside. Others who see the world as I do. Another stronger form of inspiration grew inside me, one that grows stronger with every second of the day. An inspiration that cannot be broken by the constant barrage of redundant distractions that afflicts this culture like a plague.
This is the place to for me.
This is my home.
I will never be tamed again.
Because now, I truly am an animal.

Hi Guys, I've been a reader of the site for a long time, and I've decided to finally sign up and slowly start getting involved.

I'm 22, 6'0, 240. I used to play college football, but because of some broken bones and a burst appendix, I shut it down and decided to just focus on getting my degree. So now I'm 100% healthy and football is not an option, I think Bodybuilding is for me.

After Christmas, I'm going to start the Ketogenic Diet. I've spent the last couple months reading everything I can find here on the forum about it, and elsewhere on the net. I think it is a good fit for me. I want to get down to 190, then start a bulk. I've got my Animal Paks, and cuts, and I can't WAIT to get started.

cheers,
brock

Hey fellas, I'm brand new to the Animal Pak. I hadn't been in the gym for awhile. Approximately four months ago, I got serious. I wouldn't have joined up with the Pak unless I was serious. I lift for myself and to improve my capabilities at my career as a firefighter. 4 months ago I was 165 lbs. at 6'0". After changing my diet and educating myself with literature by Pavel, I am now 182 lbs. I look better and feel great. This is just the beginning!

it feels comforting to be amongst freaks like myself that live and breathe anything gym and health related, without all the poxy p.c crap that comes along with it in popular mags!

Carpe Diem - seize the day as you probably all know. Its how i like to live my life every single day. If a day passes where i have not bettered myself physically or mentally in even the slightest way, that is a day i have failed myself.

I am 27 and from Australia. I am running a gym from down in my basement and dont have all the fancy gear, but i have the determination to get myself there and point others in the right direction. I became a personal trainer initially because i had so many questions and all the replies i got were vague and maybe's. I dont want to 'piss in the wind' and be some mindless gym junkie- I want to do it right and as hard as i freakin can.

As soon as i saw this website i knew i had to show everyone i knew that shares my passion. So much refreshing advice. So many quotes that grab you by the shirt and slap you in the face. I have spent days sitting here reading these articles, the journey and all the forum entries. Its so awesome to hear about everyones experiences even down to the smallest details because there are so many i can relate to. I am a junkie for knowledge and this forum and website seem to be my fix.

Since I'm a new member I figured I'd go ahead and post here - do the good ole intro.

I'm a 22 yr old male - I am 5'11'', 195lbs, and have 14-15% body fat. I've been lifting weights on and off since I turned 18 and have been on a solid workout routine since I turned 20.

I just recently finished my first cycle of pak, nitro, and pump - I was delighted in the added definition I received in the gym (as well as an increase in my weights) from this great line of products.

This week i'm starting a totally new workout (a blend of workouts 8 and 10 in the training section) and a new cycle (adding cuts and m-stak). I'm so sore from yesterday's workout - greatest feeling ever!

What I'm really shooting for increased definition and mass, while being able to cut off some fat and possibly rock out some abs.

Anyways that's all!

sup guys. I'm 17 and im fairly new to the game. i got started because of lacrosse. my coach made us start lifting for pre season. it was all good for a while, but then it took on a life of its own. to be honest, i think of lacrosse as secondary compared to my passion for bodybuilding. right now, i'm at 195 with more bodyfat then id like. my chest grows very slowly and i have trouble making it grow, no matter what i do. on the other hand, my arms grow like weeds very easily. By my senior year id like to be around 210 and either maintain or lose some bodyfat. right now, competing is not an option. however in the future, id like to compete. any suggestions you guys wanna throw my way are more then welcome. thanks brothers

Hey everyone, my name is Jeremy and I live in Indianapolis, IN ( For 5 more weeks, then moving to Louisiana ) I am currently working out pretty hard in anticipation of MMA fights next year. So far I have went from a weak 300 lbs to a still weak but getting there 245lbs. I used to fight about 8 years ago, but got caught with my career and everything else, turning 21 and partying. I gained about 100 lbs over the last 3 years and I am working hard to get back down to size. After 3 months of weight training (First time lifiting) my current 1RM looks like:

360 Deadlift
275 Squat
215 Bench

Pretty weak I know but I am working on it! Gl to all of you and your goals.

I'm 40 years old and have gotten back into the iron game after a fairly long hiatus (~8 years). Career, marriage, and being a father of three children took over my life. I resumed casual training about two years ago and started hitting it hard about 4 months ago. I became interested in this forum because I recently started using Animal Pak and love it! It's one of the few products I've used (past and present) where I actually feel a difference. So much so, I now buy Animal Flex to help with my joints. Now I'm looking into other Animal products to round out my nutrition and supplementation regimen.

Gl to all of you and your goals.

your never weak.
your stronger now then your first day in the gym right ? then you are allready on the right way.numbers come with time...and they mean jack shit anyway.it's all about building a better body ,not about moveing iron from A to B

props for makeing a change with your self ,i mayself was i fat kid, if you ever need any help ,i'm here for you .

Hello Legion

Thanks very much for allowing me into the membership! Looking forward to giving and receiving a lot of great and valuble information. I am a police officer in the suburbs of Philly. I guess you could call me an old guy. Been in the game since 1979, I competed on and off but never stopped training hard. Just got back into it after a 10 year hiatus while I coached my boys football teams and got them to the HS level. Now I'm back hittin it harder than ever. I got a 5 - 7 year plan and puttin all my eggs in a basket to see how far I can go. I qualified for the nationals this year so I'm even more motivated. Did four shows this year winning one and finishing no lower than 5th. This is the first time I've participated in a forum so I am definitly a rookie and may need some guidence. Again, thank you and I looking forward to giving and getting the most out of this site that I can. I gotta lot of work to do in the off season and I'm looking forward to it. Thanks again.

Hey whats up guys my name is Gus im 21 years old 6'0 and im from El Paso, Texas. I used to be really overweight (295) when I was 19 and of course really depressed. I would party alot and would drink myself stupid at the bars and clubs (fake id). Well one day I just got tired of it and just told myself that I needed a life change. Well here I am 2 years later at 195 and at 15% bf. Ive quit partying and drinking. All I do is go to work and then hit the gym. Ive actually been reading the boards a while I just never got around to joining. Well here I am and actually regretting not joining earlier. Im glad I found a place where there are people like me who just want to improve themselves and go to the gym and live the animal lifestyle. Well its an honor to finally join the animal forum.

Hey All,

I am kinda new to all this hard body stuff. I am a PE & Health teacher who had a recent mental kick in the ass to get rid of some mean fat and get hard. For a short time I became a "big girl" in a not so good kind of way. Now I am small enough to be called squirt but hard ass enough to climb all the way to the top of the ropes in gym class, LOL, if you know what I am saying. I have asperations of doing my first figure contest within the next few years and maybe a power lifting comp somewhere in there. A few of you out there already know me. If you know McFly, I am the lady at his side.

oh boy, look who it is. Yes squirt has made a HUGE body transformation. lost about 60 pounds of fat, dropped at least 10 pants sizes, went from Larges to extra-smalls. people don't recognize her or go nuts when they see her. she is a hard working girl who teaches, coaches up and down the eastern seaboard and finds time to train sometimes alone or with the "Delaware Crew" lol....and she's not scared of heavy weight, hence why she rolls with me BigAl, his girl and the rest of us.

What's up fellas...

My name is Mike and I'm from Totowa, NJ. I got into the scene about a year ago when I woke up and realized my 5'11 145lbs frame wasn't cutting it. I hit the internet to research general weightlifting and was instantly attracted to the bodybuilding aspect of the sport. Fast forward to today, a little less than a year since that first day at the gym, and I'm still 5'11, but hover around the 180lbs mark. My progress has been great so far and I can't wait to see just how far I can take this. I may not be the strongest or biggest, but I'm willing to take any and all advice. I look forward to meeting and learning from this site. It looks awesome.

Hi, Dale is the name, iron is my (new) game. Retired US Navy Senior Chief. Just turned 70. Looking to bench press for records (someday). My new training partners think I can do OK for an old fart. They are (are you ready?) -- Paul Wrenn (that's right- Paul Wrenn). If you aren't familiar with the name, Google it. Other partner (lesser known) is Charlie Greene. He too can be found via Google but it takes some looking. If they think I've got it, I guess I've got it. See
ya!! Bye from Clarksville, TN.

Hey everyone I am glad to say I am getting back to Bodybuilding. I am ready to get back into it hardcore. I have more knowledge now than before, but am stumbled as to where to begin. I have had a long layoff since some hard training while single and in the military. I am now a cop, married, two kids, mortgage etc, you get my point. Well needless to say my last few attempts at getting back to training have been less than memorable, and I have been plagued by injuries in the past six years (2 broken legs, and 2 car accidents (one pretty serious), all while at work thankfully. Along with some personal pitfalls this has left me unmotivated, depressed, stressed out and I have finally come to the reality that I am now just a fat guy who used to work out and look good. I want to be that guy again not just for myself, but for my wife and kids, I do not want to be the Dad who gets winded or worse after 5 min outside playing ball with my kids (2 very active boys). I want to be able to get out and teach them all about sports and health as I was taught at a young age. Also with my dangerous job I need to be in better shape in case I might need to save someones life or that of my own someday. I have tried many times to get back into the BB life and keep up with info on this site and many others and in mags, I have also started to take a personal training course. But, I still just seem so confused as to where to start myself. I want to get bigger (massive lean mass), but right now I have way to much BF% prob in 20's. SO I do not know If I should do a cutting type diet or a lean mass / fat loss diet. Also training I love hardcore lifting and it seems in my stage and condition I need somewhat of a beginner whole body approach?

If this should be posted in another area please let me know I am desperate. I have been on this iste and others many times and mostly find diets for guys bulking, but not much on guys already big, needing to lose some fat but mainitain size. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Hey all - I'm a 36 year old mother of a beautiful baby boy. I got back into lifting and later, strongman(woman?) training after I had my son in February of this year. I live in a little town, I train by myself in my garage-all free weights-or at a little gym locally. I'm not a bodybuilder, I concentrate on powerlifting and general physical preparedness in my training. I just started taking Animal Pak vitamins, and I love them. This site is one of the few I've found that has a philosophy as serious and no-nonsense as my own, so I had to check out the Forvm. I look forward to learning as much as possible about training strategies and all aspects of the Iron Life. Thanks for having me!

I am 22 years old. Never was really into the weight lifting part of fitness. I did gymnastics for about 14 years before quitting with a back injury so i was pretty athletic and muscular when i was 16. That all went away for the most part after i quit. Got married when i was 19 to a guy that was crazy about working out (EXTRME) but i was still pretty happy with my body and didn't know much about it. I had my son August of 2006 and just haven't been that happy with my body since even though my body has returned to prebaby. I guess i just want more now and thats why i'm here. Looking forward to working out in PA during christmas time so we will see what happens since it will be my first time "weight lifting". Any advice or comments feel free to PM me cuz i could use all the help i can get.
