Did a search and couldnt find anything consolidating the different types of oils, sorry if i missed a previous thread though, please let me know if i have!
there are many different types of oil; olive, flax, sunflower, sesame to name a few. Ive started using sesame oil with my cooking and it adds a wicked flavour to food.
do any of you guys and gals know the health benefits of different types of oils and there uses?
I'm don't know too much bout oils, but if you ask around I know for a fact that for almost everyone it is important to use fish, flax and small amounts of olive oil to get those essential fatty acids. Can't go wrong with those ones

why just small amounts of olive oil? i drink several servings per day in my shakes. whats going to happen to me?

olive oil is a good fat but too much of anything can be bad especally if you dont need the extra fat in your diet like if you are cutting.
I've been reading alot on here latley about the benefits of sesamine oil, If you don't like the taste it puts on food you can always get pills. It's supposed to maintain a good lipid profile, and hely out your liver and kidney.

Okay, I have a question, I eat 2500 CAD with my protien around 275g, carbs around 175-180g, and my fats around 90-100g. I like to keep my carbvs under 200 cuz I feel like crap when I go more than that. I get most of my carbs in my first 3 meals too. But my question is....Are my fats too high? It is 90% from xtra virgin olive oil. I am cutting, so would it be too high.
