i already know the vital points of taking supplements (waking up, right before workout, during, right after, right before bed, did i miss anything?), but i was just wondering how many times should you take supplements during a cut.
actually, my only "supplements" are Pak and a protein shake. (a shame i know, but right now i just don't have the money to afford more than that). so i guess my question is, during a cut, should you take only one protein shake a day or something? and if it'd be okay to add milk in, at least non-fat that is...
thanks bros. sorry if this has been posted too, but i can't seem to find anyhting on this...

depends on your macros, i ONLY use a shake if i didnt get in the food i should have during that day, or post workout.
skim milk is great, its good for you and the added calcium/etc every day will help on top of the protein.
also - what KIND of protein do you have?
use whey as a PWD and casein for a night time/part of breakfast if you must have a shake then

Watch the carbs in your protein shake- a quality whey isolate with 1 or 2 grams. Also EAAs during your workout, universal makes a dynamite watermelon power that mixes very well in water. The only thing I really change during a cut in terms of supps are the protein powder that I take between meals and pwo. Try to add those aminos during workouts and before cardio to hold onto that muscle!
x2, don't forget about the good fats. try adding some Animal Omega, I would take that over the EAA/BCAA because it is harder to get and your protein shake has some of that in it already.

I disagree with the last part there, whey is perfect for first thing in the morning because your bodys been fasting while you asleep and needs the fast digesting protein. Casein is best before bed.
To answer your original question Just go off macros, the only shake I know i'm going to have is my whey after my workout.

Mainly those doing keto as its a big no-no, i suppose if you were doing low carb or carb cycling, you could take it as long as it fit into your macro's?

I would stay away from torrent on a cut no matter what type of diet you are following. I know personally that there is no way I could lose weight while taking torrent.

I disagree. You don't need to go low carb or no carb to lose weight. Check out Wrath's diet from the journey, or take a look at Tiny's cutting diet. Both these guys are huge and ripped, and they keep carbs high even while cutting.
Anyway my point is that I think it is fine to use Torrent while cutting (unless you're doing keto or very low carbs). Just add some extra cardio and you'll still drop the weight.

I am cutting for this transformation contest... and I've been using torrent this whole time... it factors in fine to my carb intake...
Cutting is dependent on a few things... but your diet has to be bang on... and then you throw your cardio in... if this is on the money everyday you shouldn't have an issue getting a scoop of torrent in your diet. Plus you need the carbs regardless Post workout... might as well be WMS...
