View Full Version : eating every hour
I've been bulking for a long time now and over the summer I want to gain as much weight as possible. I was wondering if it would be beneficial to eat every hour (if possible) throughout the day. Each meal would consist of somewhere around 500 calories and I would want to eat about 15 times a day, leaving me 9 hours of no eating which is when im sleeping. Would this just cause me to gain a lot of fat or do you think it would work well for a bulk? Also how much carbs/protein/fat would I want to average per meal if I was to do this?

Trust me, at 16, it's almost impossible to eat too much. Sounds like a great idea. One question though - how are you going to eat every hour if you are only 16, aren't you in school still?
I was planning on doing it this summer.

Hey bro I have been doing a meal an hour for the last 9 months and have had amazing results. Its hard to stick with, but I walk around with a cooler full of food. Keep your meals full of greens, grilled chicken, tuna, protein shakes, fruit, eggs and of course steak. I can say this now, my body got so used to eating so much that if I dont eat anything within an hour of my last meal I start to get a stomach ache from not having food in it.

if you're a hardgainer and really struggle like shit for every pound on that scale go for it... but I would do this as an extreme measure

JUST DO IT! If it works for you GREAT! AWESOME! If it doesn't let us know. I would like to see if it does. Put a new perspective on things.

If you are working hard in the gym and eating like this, you will be huge. But you may also be bloated.

Sounds great if you are an extreme EXTREME hardgainer who can eat anything and as much as you want and not get fat.
If not.....sounds like a sure way to get fat!

assuming ur awake 16hrs a day (8 hrs to sleep) on days when she dont train thats 16 meals a day bro which is alot. I personally would cut down the size of my meals and have snacks with bout 13g protein and 23g carbs (thats based on 40g protein and 70g carbs per meal every 3 hrs)

i agree. eating 30-40g of protein every hour would be serious overkill and just unnecessary work for your kidneys and liver.
