Yeah it was tough doing CG after all that chest so I didn't go real heavy just wanted to knock out a ton of reps and get my tris pumped. Yeah no legs today gonna have to save it for tomorrow.

I was so wore down from the workout I skipped calves..something I rarely do but I was gassed. Lot of cardio bunnies cluttering the scene tonight but I made my way through the maze and hit the targeted machines. Almost passed out after my final drop set of squats...I kept telling myself "I can't let this happen..." ...was kinda scary. I don't even remember unracking the weights and wobbling to the leg press lol.

Felt great yesterday and the EEA stack was a HUGE upgrade over what I've been using the past few months. I can't stress that enough. Gave me plenty of juice to not tire at all.

Thanks Ryan....since the board members at our ymca are being pricks about getting heavier dumbells and even fixing broken ones I had a couple guys hold plates on top while I pressed the 120s. It worked really really well. What we need is some weightlifters on the board....they are all runners who frown upon guys training with heavy ass weight. Boooo!

Been getting some questions on my diet which I don't think I've ever posted. Sure it changes on a daily basis but not by a whole lot. This, along with M-Stak, some other supps and hard training has taken me from 225 pounds last October to around 255 pounds now.

Meal #1 (this is usually between 8:15 and 9:15 am.)

8 egg whites, 2-3 whole eggs
1-2 multi grain waffles
yogurt or an apple
Whey shake on top (1/2 cup oats, blueberries and 48 g whey)

Meal #2

2 cans tuna w/ low fat mayo
1/2 cup oats in applesauce OR cup brown rice
12-18 almonds
* Sometimes 8 additional egg whites or 2 whole eggs

Meal #3

Two 8 oz. rib eye or chicken breasts
Can of green beans
2 scoops organic Peanut butter
* Sometimes add 8 egg whites in milk or OJ

Meal #4 (pre workout)

Whey Shake w/ 1/2 cup oats
A few eggs

Meal #5 (post workout and 45 minutes after Torrent)

Some type of meat (fish or red meat usually hamburg)
white rice or whole wheat pasta
Vegetables

Meal #6

Whey shake w/ 1/2 cup oats
2 scoops Organic peanut butter
* Twice a week this is a couple subs from Jimmy Johns

Meal #7

Same as meal #6

Sometimes I eat an 8th meal if time allows. I treat myself to a pizza about once every 2 weeks and a sushi bar about once every 2 weeks.

Yesterday was our ABC at Iron Chamber. They had the music crankin loud and a lot of the guys were shirtin up and doing their max effort bench. My boy James Kolb hit a PR with a 635 shirted bench, no board or bands. This teenage phenom will have to be reckoned with for years to come. He just won nationals in Oklahoma in the 220 lb. division. It was awesome to see him smash his previous PR by 15 pounds.

I tried something similar to Ox's squat routine in that I picked weight i can do sets of at least 8 reps with and when I get to a set where I can't do the necessary reps, I drop a plate off each side and do a set with that weight. Not quite up to Ox's level with 5 plates per side for reps though not even close lol.

I found my "max" on the chart and did the sets it told me to do 2nite. Of course this chart was for bench press but I decided to apply it to barbell incline.

I 100% agree man......I'm so used to training between 3-4 pm. which I enjoy but on Tues, Thurs I have class at 4 pm. and that lasts a couple hours. Definately not a huge fan of training so late. I think I feel better lifting at 11 am. on those days......

I had my cousin's wedding to attend to I had to get a faster workout in than usual. I decided to do some chest circuits and then toss shoulders/tris in afterwards. Worked out great.

I researched the Michigan squat program and decided to give it a shot for a week to give my legs a break from heavier squatting. My knees needed a break too. Flex helps but it can only do so much. The rep scheme for the squats was 5 x 15.....my legs trembled just reading about it lol. It sucked but was well worth it!

I layed off shoulders completely today b/c my left one has been giving me issues, although minor, since doing something to it during rack pulls. I want to be 100% healthy for this contest so I won't be hitting them until late next week. No more supersets/drop sets for a few months either....today I incorporated Decline since that will be in the routine I am following for the contest. I was a little rusty on that bench it's been awhile lol.

Incline Smith Machine:

warmups 6 reps each
275 x 11
300 x 6
300 x 6
135 x 15 (wide grp)

Cybex Chest/Bench Press:

warmups 6 reps each
Stack x 10 x 3 sets

Decline Bench:

one warmup
3 sets of 8-10 didn't go too heavy

Straight Bar Pushdowns:

warmups
Stack x 10 x 2 sets

Weighted Dips:

BW x 10
Weighted x 10 x 2 sets

DB Overhead Extension:

warmups 6 reps each
120 x 10
120 x 10

I then did 4 sets of Ab Rope Pulldowns and 3 sets on the Cybex Ab Machine for 12 reps each. Taking pics Saturday morning and then off to get the shitload of food I'm gonna need.
