really need to do some more research on your own bro ... A.K.A "READ" of course eating tuna and samon when you are trying to lower your bf% is effective because tuna has no fat and is fairly low in calories samon will have fats in it but they will be good for you but is a lot leaner then red meat.. chicken/fish/rice/water.. = ripped XD

Cheerios aren't a good pwo food because they are low in sugar. After a workout you need to spike insulin.

For your question though - salmon and tuna are good protein choices on a cut. So is lean beef, eggs, chicken breast, lean pork (tenderloin, butterfly chops, boneless pork roast), and you want to eat those protein choices with clean carbs such as rice, yams, oats, any fruits/vegetables.

1] Too much tuna isnt good, watch out for the mercury. It doesn't matter if you eat albacore or the chunk light.

2] Too much tuna or protein can be transformed into fat. Your body will not need to use hundreds upon hundreds of grams of protein. Not to mention the strain on your body to digest it.

i just have been eating honey nut cheerios for ever its just kinda habit. As for my stats i am 6,0 200 lbs i would say about 12 % body fat. i play alot of softball, so i stay really active. I take a multivit. everyday. I just have never really leaned down, really leaned down and i just wanted to try it out for a summer. I did weigh 220 about 3 months ago, from lifting super heavy and eatin alot! I just couldnt move very well playing softball at the start of this spring we are very comptetive and travel alot so i didnt wanna loose my spot so i knew i had to cut some weight. I lostthe 20 lbs by just running in the mornings and not eating after 9. I cut out alot of the garbage like skittles and things of that nature. I still eat a little ice cream and i try to at least one day a week have sothing that is a cheat like taco bell or pizza. i am knew at this and i figured you guys do this every summer or before every show.

I decreased my tuna intake because an MD article by dave palumbo stated that the mercury in the tuna negatively affects the effects that whey protein have on your body ( I assume you take in whey too...heck everyone and their mom does now-a-days).

and what are macros?

Macros - short for macronutrients - are the nutrients in the diet that provide calories. These include protein, carbs, fat and alcohol. The micros - short for micronutrients - are the nutrients in the diet that don't have calories. These include vitamins, minerals and water.

Need specs: Weight, height, BF% if you have it and goals i.e.) Gain muscle, cut, ect...
Elaborate on your 6 meal diet, if you are not on a 6 meal diet then we need to help get you on one...
