I just got done reading a second young cat asking about Animal Test wanting to know if it's okay to take it.... I then back out of that thread to see ANOTHER NEW THREAD ASKING THE SAME DAMN THING!!! So I am going to help you out the best that I can but you must READ!
First read this PINNED thread by Freakshow which can be found in this EXACT SAME SECTION....

And if you STILL have further questions take some time and read this little tidbit of info which was copy and pasted off of BB.com....
(And just an FYI this was found after googling "test boosters.")
Teenagers and Prohormones/Steroids by pogue
I have been getting an increasing number of messages from individuals under eighteen asking me advice about prohormones. Although, I don't mind having these types of discussions with them, I feel as though I have typed the side effects up for them numerous times and still have trouble detering them from using them, so I want to outline some of the potential risks involved with teenagers using prohormones.
Health Risks
When you are under 21, your endocrine system is still developing. This should be obvious as you are still going through the end of puberty, getting acne, etc. During this time peroid, supplementing with extrogenous hormones is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. There is potential for very serious and long term side effects to occur. I hear all the time some of these people saying that "I've stopped growing, so it's okay". No - it's not okay. There are many other potential side effects besides growth plates. Here is a list of a few.
1) Premature closing of growth plates. This one is the most known about. Even if you think you have stopped growing, there still is a potential for height increase over time. I have known people who are 18+ who have continued to grow in height. Scientists know that growth plates don't fuse completely in some cases until individuals are past 22. Don't be deterred just because you haven't grown taller in awhile.
2) Impotence. Supplementing with hormones while you are still growing can potentially cause PERMANENT impotence and fertility issues in teenagers. When you add testosterone, estrogen and a wealth of other synthetic androgens to your body it can cause problems with your normal testicular growth and function. Remember, some of these effects are more than just temporary.
3) Liver/Kidney Problems. I hear all the time teenagers say "Well my friends used it and they got big and nothing happened to them." Really? How do you know? Have they been to a doctor and had their liver and kidney values checked? I doubt it. Just because a person looks okay on the outside, doesn't mean that they could have a host of problems on the inside. Liver and kidney damage is nothing short of serious. This can occur even in people who are past their teen years.
4) Gyno or "bitch tits". I believe this using androgens in teens can really increase the risk of gyno. Gyno has been known to happen naturally in many teenagers because of already fluxating hormones. When you add more hormones to the mix, you dramatically increase the problems. Remember that once you have gyno, its very hard to get rid of unless you take the proper precautions up front.
5) Hair loss/acne/prostate aggrevation, etc. All of these can be increased and agrevated with external androgen use. Have you ever seen a 20 year old going bald? It's not pretty. Don't think it can't happen to you.
6) Brain function. It is well known that hormones play a role in development of cognative brain function. Adding external hormones when your brain is still developing could be a disaster waiting to happen. How can you know many years down the road there won't be problems?
Psychological Problems
Being a teenager can be difficult as it is. Getting used to your own body image can be hard if you feel you're different than everyone else. Many teenagers turn to bodybuilding to help improve that image, and that can be a very healthy thing. However, when a teenager becomes obsessed or is only after short term goals of getting ripped in 6 weeks then it can be a very serious problem when prohormones/steroids get in the mix.
1) Abuse. There is a high potential for abuse when individuals turn to prohormones/steroids when they aren't mature enough to handle them. Most of these individuals had these substances recommended to them by friends with erroneous data presented to them on how to use them and how they work. I have seen teenagers on this board claim to never come off cycles of Mag-10 and 1AD. There is no reason to abuse your body like that. Never coming off hormones can have even greater risks than using them for the short term, such as halting normal hormone production permantely. If you have a problem and want to discuss it with us, please post it.
Legal Problems
Using steroids and prohormones underage can have very obvious legal implications. Since all prohormones have labels on them indicated that they are not for use for individuals under 18, you take into liability not only yourself and your family, but risk liability on the manufacturer and seller who sold these substances to you. By doing this, you are hurting the community who use these substances responsibly. Take responsibility for yourself and stay away from these. Causing harm to yourself is one thing, but everytime a teenager uses prohormones, the potential for them being banned increases. Here are some other problems
1) Drug testing. If you are a teenager playing sports, using steroids and prohormones can seem like a good idea to increase your performance. How would it look if you suddenly got tested for them? Being tested for prohormones WILL SHOW UP AS STEROIDS. You will have no recourse for this, and could potentially find yourself being investigated by the authorities.
2) Purchasing steroids is already illegal, but purchasing prohormones can have implications as well. As I already said, on all bottles of prohormones there is a label saying "Not for use for individuals under 18". That is not just printed on there as a joke, that is on there for a reason. If you bought these substances underage and then got into trouble or had one of the side effects listed above from taking these, what do you think your parents are going to do? They are probably going to sue the manufacturer, sue the seller, and possibly contact their congressmen demanding these substances be banned. You just screwed everyone because you were in a hurry to get some quick muscle. Take into consideration the rest of us before you make your irresponsible purchases.
Please read this over and think about what your goals are a long time before you decide to take your health into jeopardy and risk legal repercussions by using prohormones and steroids as a teenager. You not only endanger yourself, but all of us who want to or may want to use prohormones one day. We all want to have good gains and have pefect bodies, thats why we're here. But rushing into things and abusing susbstances is not the answer. There is absolutely no justification for teenagers to use prohormones or steroids. None. So, before you decide to use them - please take some time out, and make a post describing your training, diet and supplemenation. I know that me and the other members of the board would be more than happy to help you make some changes to your diet and training to help gain naturally, without the use of androgens. Doing this, you will save us all a a lot of grief.
If that still doesn't hit the nail on the head for you then let my chime in with my own two Lincoln's....
Look, we all know it sucks being told that we are to young to do something. But it would be even worse not to be able to do those things once we are older because we were the device of our own demise and didn't listen when we were younger.

Very nice post. I see this a lot with me being a rep at bb.com. It's sad to tell you the truth that guys my age ask for advice and then completely disregard it and do what they want anyway. I hate to say it, but some guys just have to learn the hard way.
EDIT: I am 19 and very against test boosters, pro hormones, and steroids below the age of 21. Hell I'm even against using a ZMA under 21.

Ah, that pretty much summed up my Thesis Report in my Exercise Physiology/Health Science class. Damn you for not posting it sooner.
In my completely humble opinion, I think that the under 18 crowd really only needs:
pak
flex
omega
EAA/BCAA/Nitro
then after 18:
cuts
m-stak
There is no need for anyone under 24 really to be taking Test, Stak or any other companies alternative to them. Does anyone really want to risk maybe 3-7lbs of muscle in exchange for all the negative side effects (and that's even without taking steroids).
I'll see if I can drum up my paper/powerpoint, post it up/add to. Becuase like G.I. Joe said, "knowing is half the battle"
I really dont think i need that email either, I have spent my time learning about all this stuff.
Hey guys, I just came across this thread.
I think there are some misunderstandings about what Animal Test consists of. Just to set the record straight, we don't use any prohormones or prosteriods in Animal Test. Animal Test consists of all natural herbal extracts w/ the addition of patented arachidonic acid (AA). The above text would apply to prohormones and prosteriods, as at the time it was written, prohormones and prosteriods were still being sold. In no way do we condone the use of such substances as they are now illegal.
Just to reiterate. Animal Test is meant for fellas 21 and older, b/c basically at that age and under, your natural test levels are already high.

I knew I forgot to add something to my post last night.... My apollogies J.... I was trying to put together something all encompassing after reading question after question asking "What if?" "test-booster" "is it bad for me at 16, 17, 18?" .... I inadvertantly left out what Animal Test is not.... Once again, my apollogies for trying to make a point on a time crunch.

It's a good post for sure, as it is NOT recommended for those under 21, but you also have to realize that animal Test is NOT hormonal. The post you copied from pogue is about prohormones/AAS.
Granted the original Animal Test did contain some of those, but the new version does not so I don't quite see why that was included.
Edit: J-Dawg already got it.

Okay, here's the point that I was originally going for but subsequently failed due to the fact that I rushed trying to put everything together and inadvertantly left out the key pieces....
There have been a lot of new threads started buy fellas wanting to know the potential negative side effects of taking Animal Test at age "X". And numerous posts already answering to the effect that, "You don't need to take it because at 'your' age test levels are thru the roof. Plus it's not recommended for anyone under 21 anyway so spend your money on food, a good multi, and protien." .... Am I right? (Insert link to Freakshow's pinned thread about age requirements.) Okay, second part....
Since we all have been teenagers at on point in our lives we all know, and can empathize with the younger brothers that post here, that at that age when we are told we can't do something, for whatever reason, we are going to try to find a reason or a justification to do it. Many times in those pursuits we tend to look for the answers we want to hear and overlook the answers we don't want to hear and in doing so either rush toward a solution or overlook an even bigger detail because we just refused to be patient an READ the fine print.
My example for this, and ironically I think I illustrated with my first post, is how skipping the details can lead to bigger problems. Such as can be the case with Animal Test.... Cut and dry it, "facilitates a rise in free and total testosterone...." In other words we can call it a "test-booster." Yes? So a young gun comes on here, sees a natural, legal, product that claims to produce, "exlposive gains in strength and size." He asks all the questions he can think of from "what will...." "what if...." and "should I" and is only met with, "No because...." He still has to have "it" though. He still wants "explosive gains in strength and size."
So instead of reading the fine print, instead of reading the things he doesn't want to read because they aren't the answers he wants, instead of reading the articles detailing the product he keeps looking and looking, overlooking more and more details until he reads "Yeah, I have a buddy that's used it ever since he was 14 and he's fine." Was what he was reading about Animal Test? No, not now.... It is about some other "test-booster" but he finally heard the answer he wanted to hear and goes balls out to get it.... Only landing him in a world of shit because he rushed, because he didn't pay attention, because he didn't READ. (Insert article listing side effects of under age use of prohormones and AAS.)
Realizing that this is a worst case scenario, albeit not out of the realm of possibility, my overall main point is if you are interested in something like Animal Test, or even Animal M-Stak, or Animal Stak, and you fall under the underage category, READ! Read everything you can about it first. Read what it is, what does, what it is suppose to do. If you still have questions then ask. And if your questions warrant the classic reply, "You don't need to take it because at 'your' age test levels are thru the roof. Plus it's not recommended for anyone under 21 anyway so spend your money on food, a good multi, and protien." and you still aren't satisfied take some time to educate yourself about the human body and what it is exactly that is going on inside you at your age.... Then you may realize you already have an advantage over us older guys already and your pockets will thank you for it too.
Hope that clears up the mud.

honestly ive noticed these too, i saw "for all the young guys: READ!!!" and immediately all those test threads popped into my head
and i was right.
im 18, the lure of test boosters/etc is very very real, and i resist it every day, i dont look like much, but compared to 8 months ago im hugely improved. ya ive been busting ass for 8 months so far, and no i dont have roadmap veins and chiseled abs yet, no i cant bench my own body weight, but i know that in time i will.
i have a few friends who come to me for advice on supplements because they know i dont take ANYTHING i even think may have a negative side effect. i just wont. not worth the risk in my eyes.
Hey J-Werk,
I picked up on what you ment origionally. I know Animal Test doesn't contain anything illegal, but I can see how a younger uninformed kid might think "... Test ... testestorone ... steroids!" And I completely agree with READING everything you can about a supplement or a component of a supplement before you take it. I've gotten burned in the past, never again.
just letting you know you didnt have to clear up the mud as much as you thought.

I'm 17 and let me tell you something. I work at a gym where we sell animal products cheaply, from nitro to pak, and all the way back and you won't believe how many of the friends I have in there have tried to get me to sell them TEST when I'm behind the counter. All I do is tell them 'Not on your life' but somehow one of my friends managed to convince a new guy that started working there about a month ago to let him buy the TEST.
Wanna know what happened to my friend?? Simple, a month after he bought the so called 'magic pills' he just got a bit angrier, developed some more acne and you know what? He wasted 40 Bucks for NOTHING, he barely saw any change in his physique!
I'll say it again guys. We're YOUNG!! You know what that means right? No? Well it's simple, it means that anything like test is like putting batteries inside a camera that can be charged by simply plugging it into a wall. Sure, it works, but you know something? It still gets the same results, but you also end up wasting money too.
Keep that in mind and just stick with some pak, oatmeal, and a shit load of protein

Great post man. Younger Adults that are unexperienced tend to fall for high tech supps that aren't ment for their age to begin with and forget the important basics of nutrition.
I personally think, that these supps like m-stak and stak shouldn't even touch minors hands without an I.D card and for test 21 and older or whatever the age limit is.

Hit the nail right on the head and straight into the board. Nice post man, and very true.
Keep that in mind and just stick with some pak, oatmeal, and a shit load of protein

disclaimer: I'm not recomending any test boosters any people below 25, just giving my two cents
truth is bro, test boosters will work better for older people but that doesn't mean we should deny the fact it will work for a youngster as well... if you got a good diet at 18 for instance, you should see a difference by using a potent test booster which will increase strength, and protein synthesis... it's not a lot of science in it but it will work
me, I just prefer not to use any, but I am aware of the fact that they make a difference...

I am 20 and turn 21 in August....I just got finish with my first-and-only cycle of Stak....I didn't have any side effects. But then again, I'm not going to continue to cycle this...due to the fact I didn't need it, so results were limited; and using it just once, my body hasn't really gotten use to it...so that might be the reason I saw no side effects. But I'm just going to stick with Pak, Pump, flaxseed oil, a good whey, and a good nighttime protein....that's truly all I need.

i would go with pak, pump, omega and iso whey (with iso whey and some natty pb you wont need a night time protein)
