Soo I was talking to my Dad this morning and he decided to be pretty cool and tell me I can order two supplements of my choice.. I really wanna try pump, so I know that will be one of the supps, but I'm not sure about the second one
I know a lot of people take pump on training days and storm on non training days.. Is that really necessary? I tried storm once before and it didn't do anything for me, but I wasn't taking it on off days so I think that might have been my problem
The other supplements I was thinking about were Nitro, eaa stack, and bcaa stack.. I just started a cut last week, and when I do cardio in the morning I just drink a protein shake rather than bcaa's or eaa's.. I also take Pak and Whey, but I'll continue taking those (they don't count towards the two I can order)
So what do you guys think? I'm leaning towards the Pump/Storm stack because I really want to give creatine a real try.. I'm also interested in seeing what the N.O. in Pump can do for me.. I'm 6'0, 180 lbs.. Any advice is much appreciated

at 16 all you need is AnimalPak and whey protein imo, but if you want pump, get that and make sure you got your pak

i'd go with the eaa's.. perfect for morning cardio. that way you preserve your very hard earned muscles.

I'd go with pak and Real Gains if I were you, or Ultra Whey Pro instead of RG if you're cutting
Not taking the rest of your diet into consideration, if you're taking pak that's a solid start.
Nutrition is like a pyramid. You need to start with a big, wide, strong, solid base and work your way up away from the necessities to the nonessentials. The base is made up of whole food. You should always try to get most of your nutrition (protein, carbs, etc.) from whole food. Pak should be considered part of the base, and so should essential fatty acid and amino acids. Next move up to basic supplements like protein powder. Finally, at the top are supps like storm.
Now to answer your qusetion more specifically.... A lot of people on here will probably tell you that you're too young for nitro. However, bcaa or eaa stack could be a good addition. An important thing to think about are the four nutritional windows. 1. Immediately after waking 2. before working out 3. Immediately after working out 4. before bed.
If you have a eaa or bcaa supp you could take that with a protein shake, do cardio for 30 min, and then have breakfast and your pak and efa. That's the first window.
Now you should think about what to ingest before w/o. Most people take a medium sized whole food meal (consisting of about 20-30 gs protein and 50 gs (?) carbs) 30 min. before working out; and any other supps (depending on what they are) before hitting the iron. So think about if you want or, more importantly NEED, anything special preworkout. Of course having something to take would be nice, but keep in mind you can only get 2 supps and you need to start with the "essential" supps.
Post workout is a major window you should not miss. You should probably focus on supplementing this window first before you get any other supps (beside animal pak, omega, and bcaa / eaa stack). A very good addition to add here would be torrent.
Finally before bed you mostly want slow digesting protein, bcaas, and the like.
Keep in mind, people use the same supps differently. Some put bcaas in a gallin of water and sip it throughout the day, others take servings all at once, and some might even do both. Torrent, too, can be taken during workout even though the label says post workout.
So in conclusion...
1. animal pak
2. bcaa / eaa stack (bcaa is more anabolic but eaas give you a bigger variety. You can only get 2 supps so don't get both, they are too similar. Also, bcaas are in eaas but in a smaller dose than a bcaa only supp)
3. Animal omega (this would be the easiest and safest supp to replace with a more generic brand, so you can think about skipping this one if you want to)
4. torrent (should definately be a staple in your supp arsenal. Ask about Lava, another universal supp. I'm almost positive it's basically the same thing except torrent is more advanced. On the other hand, torrent is a little more expensive.)
5. the rest is up to whatever you can afford and then whatever you want. You might want to skip creatine. A lot of people are fans of it but, while it can be beneficial... 1. a lot of protein powders and other supps already have it included basically eliminating the need to buy a separate creating only supp. 2. some gains are temporary due to the fact that they are the result of water saturation in the muscle cells; you will still be bigger than before you started taking it, but smaller when you're done your cycle compared to say the week before you stop taking it. Personally I haven't really seen a noticeable difference when I've taken creatine supps.

Well I'm cutting so I don't need real gains, and I already have a Whey supplement
I've read that with pump you don't typically get false gains.. Just strength with not a whole lot of water retention.. Torrent is a little too expensive for now.. I'd like to get Omega but I feel like I can get my EFA's from food sources instead.. So all that's left is EAA's, BCAA's and creatine/N.O.

If I was you, I would go with animal pak and animal nitro. If you already have animal pak, go with animal omega and animal nitro.

Why UniLiver? Does it actually contian EAA's? I always thought it was a quick and small protein solution

If I was you, I would go with animal pak and animal nitro. If you already have animal pak, go with animal omega and animal nitro.
Why's that?.. Creatine is a naturally occurring substance.. I know people don't like recommending substances to minors but none the less..

What do you take on your off days though? And have you felt a significant difference after you started taking pump?

Personally, I dont take any "pre" or "post" supps on my off day (I stick with protein, pak, and ZMA for now- and Im almost 22). A lot of people will say otherwise, but Ive done both and dont see any significant results by taking something on an off day. So if it were me, I wouldnt even be using the Storm on the off days, and thats why I suggested Nitro. You get what Im trying to explain bro?
At 16 I used my first quality creatine product ever and all of my strength and mass gains sky rocketed. So if you want to pass your peers here is what I would get....
Storm ----- take it before and after every workout, and don't forget to take it on off days
EAA stack ----- drink it while you train and immediatly after with your whey protein
Of course this is considering you already have a nice supply of whey protein....

Well I tried Storm once and I didn't take it on off days and It didn't do anything for me.. So I'm kind of concerned that I might not see any results if I don't take a creatine product on days that I don't train..
I like the Pump and Nitro idea.. But one thing I'm looking for is something to take/drink during my cardio after my lifting.. Do you think I could take Nitro right before cardio and still get the benefits of it?

Storm and EAA Nitro...both grape...mix it together and drink while u workout..i did that with nitro g and it was unbelievable..i actually just ordered storm and EAA nitro so i am pumped for that to come in!

i dont know why youre cutting at 16, unless your very overweight, and i dont think thats the case at 6'0 180, if anything your probly somewhat lean already at that height and weight. must be for the girls...
i cant blame you though, i wanted to look good in high school too
but once again...if i could do it all over again....

Alright then maybe I should go with Pump on training days and Storm on off days.. I tried Shock Therapy before and I wasn't crazy about it.. I felt like I couldn't get my heart rate under control.. I know, Pump is an N.O. product also, but I'd still like to try it

Unbelievable in what way? I tried the grape flavored storm before.. It taste like burnt toast to me.. The fruit punch was delicious though..

Nah I've been dating the same girl for almost two years.. I'm not trying to impress anybody.. I've always had a little bit of a gut and I'd like to get rid of it now.. And to be honest I'm kind of tired of bulking.. I just wanna switch things up for a change

Thanks a lot man.. I think my diet is tuned pretty good right now.. Whey and Pak are there without question.. I'm seriously considering the EAA Nitro/Storm combo
