View Full Version : Summer "Cut" stack...please assist

Hey fellow Animals...I am having a bit of a conundrum.
This past month with help from my Animal Stack (Pak,Pump,Nitro,M-Stak & Torrent) I was able to attain my weight goal of 190.
Now I want to start "cutting" the fat out, so this past Friday, I went to BJ's, stocked up all the necessary foods to help with it (lean meat,chicken,tuna,fish, etc.). So now I would like assistance to choose supplements that will supplement my upcoming diet and training regimen.
I was thinking of these supps: (Feel free to mix and match and help me choose a solid stack)
- EAA Stack or Animal Nitro
- Animal Cuts??
- Torrent??
- Animal Pump??
- Animal Omega
- UniLiver
- Beta ala9??
I am just confused if this is all necessary or ??? I'm killing my brain b/c i want this to be a solid ("perfect") stack to help me attain my ideal physique. Thanks in advance and keep up the work everyone!

I am currently trying to cut down also, for about 15 more pounds or so. I started out at 242 with no supps. then lost a few with diet, added some supps to help me maintain my muscle mass, and now just addded in cuts to help shred off those last few pounds.
My current supplement stack goes like this:
Wake up, Cuts.
30 minutes later, breakfast and pak with some Uni-Liver tabs
at lunch (3rd meal of the day) Uni-Liver tabs
in between my lunch and pre workout meal - Cuts
Half hourbefore workout, Shock Therapy...
on the way to the gym, Nitro Pack
Intra - Storm and BCAA Stack (Start sipping after first set, finished by the time I am on my last set)
Post - Whey/Casein mix with a banana.
2nd to last meal of the night, throw in some more uni-liver.
1hr before bed, and 1 hr after me 2nd to last mea..3 ZMA Tabs
I am trying to do everything I can do to preserve my LBM while dropping fat, and only fat. Which is why I chose the uni-liver, and BCAA, Nitro.
So out of what you have, I would definitely go with either the Nitro, or EAA Stack. I think Aminos are an essential.
Uni-Liver also is a throwback that everybody should utilize. I just currently started taking them.
I personally threw in cuts towards the end of my cut, to help with the last few pounds. I will probably end up doing 2 cycles. So if you have quite a bit to lose, you may want to hold off for a little bit on that.
Omegas are something I am going to add in the future. After reading more and more on EFAs I think they should be a staple in anybodys diet regardless of their goals. So you should definitely get set up on that.
Animal Pump is good for a pre-workout boost if need be, not totally necassary but a solid product. I tried 2 cans, and loved it, decided to try Shock Therapy, and for me the drink is a better option. It is just up to you, I say give em both a shot and see what works best for you.
Torrent is another one that isn't totally necessary, but is definitely a sold post workout product. I haven't used it personally, I am waiting for my bulk to try it out.
Beta Ala9 is another product I haven't used either. But I guess if you find yourself needing a little more of an edge to help maintain your workout intensity. I say give it a shot.
So, that is my view. I am not an expert, or even close to it. So take it for what it's worth. The next guy may have a different perspective, it is up to you to make the final decision on what you think will help you achieve your goals. That is just what I do, and what I would do in your situation. Good Luck on your goals man.

to get a little idea all ive been taking on my cut is pak,cuts,bcaa tabs and whey and fish oil (waiting im my ox stak promo, stoked for omega). i overload on my bcaa tabs pre and post w/o or pre and post cardio to make sure i dont lose much muscle. and really its worked. im 5'10 177 right now, and i look bigger than i do at 205 when i was bulking imo, even though i have lost a little bit of muscle.
im sure you will do better with eaa stack instead of my bcaa tabs
bro really i think it all depends what you got the money for, but if you want my opinion id save that torrent and beta ala9 for bulking.
and im not a believer in pre wo supps. i think a lot of people take them because they like that extra kick in the gym. dont get me wrong, theres nothing wrong with that. but ME...i dont need that extra kick, i get that kick through good self motivation and good diet, i make sure i energy through my food and diet, even while cutting to get myself a good w/o.
so id go w eaa stack, more serving for the $ im sure than nitro
pak
cuts
omega
and throw in uni if you want
and get some whey
remember, we dont usually gain muscle while cutting right?
so me, im just trying to maintain what i got, and make myself look bigger with symmetry and losing that weight so i can get that v taper and everything else.

It really helped to jumpstart the fat loss and I was planning on taking it again if I stopped losing, but I never did. I never took nitro before and I loved it on my cut. It really helped to keep my from losing strength since I was really going low carb some days. I hear BCAA stack is good, but never tried it... I would say Pak, Cuts, Nitro, and the new animal Omega from my experience.. but I'm sure there are others that would be beneficial. Plus I have a family and can't spend a bundle of cash on all the extras. damn.. lol.

also forgot i used universal iso whey for my shakes.. 3 food meals, 2 shakes, 1 snack.

Thanks fellas for the advice! I wasn't expecting much responsed but again this F O R V M and the "Legion" proves me wrong...u effin' love this place! hahaha..
I think I will go with:
- Omega
- EAA Stack
- Unilver
- Cuts?? <-still unsure of..
but like many of your posts eluded to...or at least from what i intepreted..less is more and therefore I am going to cut out Torrent and Beta Ala9.
Save my $$ for another bulk cycle.

Like I said above, if you are unsure of the cuts now. Just hold off, and if you are having trouble getting those last couple of pounds off, give em a shot.

None of that is actually "necessary" although all of them will assist you in either retaining muscle or losing fat while on a cut.
The top 3 in that list in my book would be:
1- EAA Stack during cardio
2- Animal Cuts to optimize metabolism
3- Toss up between Beta Ala9 and Animal Omega

I have to second this on the cuts.. i really thought i needed it, but if you eat clean and do cardio the weight will peel off. Good luck with the diet!!

Here's how I would do it bro:
Animal Pak- 1 pack with breakfast
Animal Nitro- 2 packs postworkout
Animal Cuts- 1 pack mid morning, 1 pack 30 minutes beofre you train
Animal Omega- 1 pack a day with a meal
BCAA Stak- 1 serving before and while you train
Uni Liver- 4-6 tablets with every meal
Zero G- 1 serving before breakfast, 1 serving 30 minutes before you train
Ultra Iso Whey- 1 serving 30 minutes after your Animal Nitro

Just my .02 but I would go with the Omega if it was between the two, ive been using the two and the beta alanine helps a little with endurance but I am beginnning to notice some difference in my weight after a week with Omega, even how I carry the excess weight, I would say keep omega a staple, especially if your not getting EFA's somewhere else....

I want/will include Omega in my upcoming stack,...now comes the hard part of actually finding one and buying it..hahaha...
if anyone knows of a spot, please let me know, as I will most likely place my order today or tomorrow..
